BACKGROUND:In recent years,artificial intelligence has gradually emerged and has been applied in various fields such as spinal cord nerve injury and repair,which has a positive impact on clinical treatment. OBJECTIVE:To study the application progress of artificial intelligence in the diagnosis,treatment,and rehabilitation of spinal cord nerve injury and repair,clarify the research hotspots and shortcomings in this field,and provide suggestions for future research work. METHODS:Relevant literature on artificial intelligence in the field of spinal cord nerve injury and repair was retrieved on the Web of Science core collection database until 2023.CiteSpace 6.1.R6 and VOSviewer 1.6.19 software was used to perform general literature analysis,co-citation of literature,co-citation of journals,double image overlay of journals,keyword clustering,and other visual analysis on the literature data. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)A total of 1 713 articles were selected,and the annual publication volume in this field showed a fluctuating upward trend,with the United States taking the lead,and Kadone and Hideki being the authors with the highest publication volume.ARCH PHYS MED REHAB was the journal with the highest number of citations.(2)Keyword co-occurrence and cluster analysis showed that after removing keywords similar to the search terms,the main keywords were divided into three main clusters:Exoskeleton and exercise rehabilitation(the largest core hotspot);machine learning and neural plasticity;robotics and rehabilitation training.(3)Keyword burst analysis showed that deep learning and artificial intelligence had become burst terms in the past five years.(4)The results of in-depth analysis of co cited and highly cited literature showed that the hotspots of artificial intelligence in the field of spinal cord nerve injury and repair were mainly focused on powered exoskeletons,gaits,electrical nerve stimulation,intracortical brain-computer interface(IBCI),robots,and polymer biomaterials,and neural stem cell.(5)The research on artificial intelligence in the field of spinal cord nerve injury and repair has shown an upward trend in recent years.The focus of this field had gradually shifted from single treatment methods such as exoskeletons and electrical stimulation to intelligent,precise,and personalized directions.(6)There were some limitations in this field,such as the consequences of missing or imbalanced data,low data accuracy and reproducibility,and ethical issues(such as privacy,research transparency,and clinical reliability).Future research should address the issue of data collection,requiring large sample,high-quality clinical datasets to establish effective artificial intelligence models.At the same time,the research on genomics and other mechanisms in this field is very weak.In the future,various machine learning technologies such as brain chips can be used,and gene editing therapy,single-cell spatial transcriptome and other methods can be used to study the basic mechanisms of regeneration-related gene upregulation and axon growth structural protein production.

Objective To investigate the relationship between tooth loss and the occurrence of esophageal cancer in a natural village in Wenfeng District, Anyang City, Henan Province. Methods A prospective cohort study was conducted to observe the occurrence of tooth loss and esophageal cancer among the asymptomatic residents of the natural village for 16 years from January 2008 to July 2024. Data were analyzed by chi-square test, binary logistic regression, and restricted cubic spline. Results Among the total population of 711 cases, 136 cases were lost to follow-up and 575 cases were included in the final statistics, including 45 cases with esophageal cancer. Significant statistical difference was found between esophageal cancer patients with and without tooth loss (P<0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that tooth loss was associated with the occurrence of esophageal cancer (OR=3.977, 95%CI: 1.543-10.255). After the adjustment for confounders, tooth loss remained significantly associated with the occurrence of esophageal cancer (OR=3.038, 95%CI: 1.035-8.914). A nonlinear dose-response relationship was observed between the number of teeth lost and the incidence of esophageal cancer. When the number of teeth lost was less than 12, the risk of esophageal cancer increased with the number of teeth lost. When more than 12 teeth were lost, the risk of esophageal cancer decreased as the number of teeth lost increased. Conclusion Tooth loss is a risk factor for the occurrence of esophageal cancer in this natural village. When the number of teeth lost is less than 12, the risk of esophageal cancer increases with the number of teeth lost.

ObjectiveTo analyze the drug resistance and the molecular typing characteristics through pulsed field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) of Campylobacter spp. isolated from patients with infectious diarrhea in Baoshan District of Shanghai, and to provide a basis for Campylobacter spp. prevention and control and clinical medication. MethodsCampylobacter spp. was isolated, cultured and identified from stool samples of diarrheal patients collected from medical institutions at two monitoring sites in Baoshan District from 2019 to 2022. Antimicrobial susceptibility testing for 12 antibiotics was conducted on the isolated Campylobacter jejuni (C. jejuni) and Campylobacter. Coli (C. coli), and molecular typing was performed using PFGE. ResultsA total of 179 strains of Campylobacter spp. were isolated from 1 786 samples of diarrheal patients, with a positive rate of 10.02%. The highest resistance rate of C. jejuni was to ciprofloxacin (98.63%), followed by tetracycline (97.26%) and nalidixic acid (89.73%). C. coli was completely resistant to ciprofloxacin and nalidixic acid (100.00%), followed by tetracycline (90.91%). The multidrug resistance rates of C. jejuni and C. coli were 89.73% and 100.00%, respectively. 142 strains of C. jejuni produced 122 PFGE bands, while 33 strains of C. coli produced 33 PFGE bands, and the distribution of the bands was relatively dispersed. ConclusionFrom 2019 to 2022, the detection rate of Campylobacter in diarrheal patients was relatively high in Baoshan District of Shanghai, the multidrug resistance rate of Campylobacter isolates from diarrheal patients was relatively serious, in addition, the drug resistance pattern was complex, and the PFGE band pattern displayed a polymorphic distribution.

ObjectiveTo analyze the etiological characteristics of two strains of Escherichia albertii first identified in Baoshan District, Shanghai, in 2024, to explore their antibiotic resistance characteristics, virulence characteristics, and multilocus sequence typing (MLST) to elucidate their genetic evolutionary relationships, so as to provide a scientific basis for the surveillance and control of Escherichia albertii in the local area. MethodsA total of 457 anal swabs were collected from patients with diarrhea in 2024, from which two suspected Escherichia albertii strains were isolated. The isolated strains were identified through mass spectrograph analysis, biochemical identification, and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test. Microdilution broth method was used for the antimicrobial susceptibility testing, and whole-genome sequencing was performed for molecular characteristic analysis. ResultsMass spectrograph analysis and PCR test initially identified the two strains as Escherichia coli (E. coli), but their biochemical profiles were inconsistent with those of E. coli. Genomic sequencing identified the strains as Escherichia albertii, and which were named as S1 and S2, respectively. The antimicrobial susceptibility test showed that both strains were susceptible to β‑lactam antibiotics and moderately susceptible to polypeptide antibiotics. S1 was resistant to chloramphenicol (CHL), streptomycin (STR), tetracyclin (TET), florfenicol (FFC) and nalidixic acid (NAL), and carried five resistance genes including APH（6），APH（3）， gyrA， tet and flor, whereas S2 was susceptible to the five antibiotics mentioned above. Neither of the two strains contained the stx virulence gene, but S2 harbored the astA virulence gene. The two Escherichia albertii strains had the MLST types of ST4638 and ST4606, respectively. The genome size of the two strains was 4.5 Mb, and the closest relative strain was GTC14781 (Escherichia albertii). The average nucleotide identity (ANI) values to the reference genome of E. coli were both below 90%. S1 did not have the H serotype defined in the current database. S1 and S2 differed by 28 267 single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), and no homologous strains were found in comparison with the data in the GeneBank database. ConclusionTwo strains of Escherichia albertii are initially identified in Baoshan District of Shanghai. Strain S1 shows strong multidrug resistance, while strain S2 carries diarrheagenic virulence genes. The two strains have a distant genetic relationship and exhibits a pattern of sporadic occurrence. It is recommended to utilize whole-genome sequencing technology to enhance the epidemiological surveillance and laboratory detection of Escherichia albertii.

Objective To understand the changing trend of Internet outpatient visits in public hospitals,and provide support for the development planning of Internet hospitals.Methods Using the data of Internet outpatient visits in a public hos-pital from January 2021 to June 2023,the ARIMA model and GM(1,1)model were constructed respectively.The mean absolute error(MAE)and root mean square error(RMSE)were used to evaluate the fitting effect,and the Internet outpatient visits from July to December 2023 were predicted based on the dominance model.Results ARIMA(1,2,1)model and GM(1,1)model were used to predict the number of return visits of Internet outpatient service.The average absolute errors were 369.86 and 978.84,and the root-mean-square errors were 479.49 and 1444.83,respectively.The ARIMA(0,1,0)model and GM(1,1)model were used to predict the number of Internet outpatient consultations.The average absolute errors were 297.23 and 369.62,and the root-mean-square errors were 413.61 and 496.30,respectively,indicating that the ARIMA model has a good prediction effect.The forecast results show that the predicted value of Internet outpatient visits in December 2023 is 14,831 cases,and the predicted value of consultation visits is 7461 cases.Conclusion The number of Internet outpatient visits in a public hospital will continue to rise from 2021 to 2023.Therefore,hospitals should fully realize the importance of Internet medical services,take ac-tive measures to continuously optimize the medical service model,and provide patients with high-quality,efficient and convenient Internet medical services.

Objective To investigate the changing trend of the current situation of Internet-based oncology outpatient treatment and provide support for the development and management of Internet hospitals.Methods The ARIMA and GM(1,1)models were constructed based on the Internet-based outpatient data of a cancer hospital from January 2021 to June 2023,and the fitting effect was evaluated by mean absolute error(MAE)and root mean square error(RMSE).Based on the model,the pro-portion of Internet-based outpatient visits and the offline outpatient visits were predicted from July to December 2023.Results ARIMA(1,1,2)and GM(1,1)models were used to predict the proportion of Internet-based outpatient visits.The average abso-lute errors were 2.06%and 2.41%,and the root-mean-square errors were 3.01%and 3.17%,respectively.The ARIMA(0,1,1)and GM(1,1)models were used to predict the proportion of Internet-based outpatient visits to the offline outpatient visits,with the rate of the average absolute errors of 0.58%and 1.08%,respectively,and the rate of the root mean square errors 0.75%and 1.31%,respectively.The figures indicated that the ARIMA model had a better prediction effect.The forecast results showed that the predicted value of Internet outpatient service in December 2023 was 90.35%,and the predicted value of Internet-based outpatient service accounted for 16.46%of the offline outpatient service.Conclusion In 2021-2023,the proportion of Inter-net-based outpatient visits in the cancer hospital showed a steady trend,and the proportion of Internet outpatient visits in the off-line outpatient visits showed a rising trend.Therefore,hospitals need to establish a continuous monitoring mechanism,constantly adjust management strategies and measures to meet the needs of patients and continue to promote the high-quality development of Internet-based medical services.

Objective To establish a method for rapid determination of isovelleral,α-amanitin,β-amanitin,γ-amanitin,dihydroxy-phallotoxin and carboxy-dihydroxy-phallotoxin in plasma by ultra performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry.Methods Take plasma samples and add acetonitrile solution in a 1:3 ratio.The sample was vortex mixed for 1 min,then centrifugated at 10 000r/min and 4℃ for 3min.The supernatant was injected,while 0.03％ammonia water and acetonitrile were used as mobile phases for ultra high performance liquid phase separation.Multi reaction monitoring was carried out in the positive ion mode of electric spray.Results The separation and detection of isovelleral,α-amanitin,β-amanitin,γ-amanitin,dihydroxy-phallotoxin and carboxyl-dihydroxy-phallotoxin in plasma could be achieved within 4 min by one injection.The linear range of six mushroom toxins in plasma was 40-500μg/L,and the detection limits were 10.0μg/L 10.0μg/L,10.0μg/L,6.0μg/L,6.0μg/L and 6.0μg/L(S/N=3),respectively.The relative standard deviations were 0.60％-1.90％(n=11),and the recovery rates were 90.8％-127.0％.Conclusion This method realizes the rapid and simultaneous determination of 6 kinds of mushroom toxins in plasma,including isovelleral.The operation is simple and the result is accurate,which provides a technical platform for the rapid confirmation of mushroom toxins in poisoned patients.

To explore the feasibility of applying magnetic stimulation technology to the movement control of animal robots, the influence of coil radius, number of turns and other factors on the intensity, depth and focus of magnetic stimulation was simulated and analyzed for robot pigeons. The coil design scheme was proposed. The coil was placed on the head and one of the legs of the pigeon, and the leg electromyography (EMG) was recorded when magnetic stimulation was performed. Results showed that the EMG was significantly strengthened during magnetic stimulation. With the reduction of the output frequency of the magnetic stimulation system, the output current was increased and the EMG was enhanced accordingly. Compared with the brain magnetic stimulation, sciatic nerve stimulation produced a more significant EMG enhancement response. This indicated that the magnetic stimulation system could effectively modulate the functions of brain and peripheral nerves by driving the coil. This study provides theoretical and experimental guidance for the subsequent optimization and improvement of practical coils, and lays a preliminary theoretical and experimental foundation for the implementation of magnetic stimulation motion control of animal robots.

In pediatric nursing, the conflict between the principle of beneficial and non-maleficence is a major challenge for nurses. To systematically understand the current situation of the conflict in the nursing practice of pediatric nurses at home and abroad, this paper reviewed four clinical situations where conflict occurs frequently: end-of-life decision-making of critically ill children, physical restraint, the child abuse case report, and new pediatric clinical therapies, and analyzed the factors influencing the conflict of pediatric nurses in China, so as to provide reference for pediatric nurses to cope with the conflict between the principle of beneficial and non-maleficence.

Objective:To analyze the costs and effectiveness of five common screening modes and genetic screening for thalassemia in China in order to find the optimal way and provide evidence for the implementation of thalassemia prevention and control projects in Hunan Province.Methods:From June 2020 to April 2021, 12 971 couples from 14 cities and autonomous prefectures in Hunan Province were selected as the study population. The diagnosis of thalassemia was based on the results of genetic testing. Results of routine blood test and hemoglobin electrophoresis were collected and analyzed. The efficacy of five screening modes, at the cut-off value of <80 fl or 82 fl for the mean corpuscular volume (MCV), was analyzed by positive predictive value, negative predictive value, Jorden index and cost-effectiveness ratio. Sensitivity analysis was used to assess the feasibility of genetic screening at different costs after fixing the costs of routine blood and hemoglobin electrophoresis. The five thalassemia screening models are as follows: Mode 1: The woman had a blood routine test first. If the result was positive, the spouse required a blood routine test. If both results were positive, a thalassemia gene test should be offered to the couple. Mode 2: Both husband and wife were screened by blood routine and hemoglobin electrophoresis. If one or both of them were positive, both would be tested for thalassemia gene. Mode 3: The couple received blood routine tests initially. If either was positive, both should receive hemoglobin electrophoresis testing. If either was positive, both parties will conduct thalassemia gene testing. Mode 4: The woman was screened by blood routine and hemoglobin electrophoresis. If any one of them was positive, the woman would be tested for thalassemia gene. If the gene test result was positive, the spouse should receive thalassemia gene. Mode 5: Both spouses conducted a blood routine test. If either was positive, both would conduct hemoglobin electrophoresis test. If both were positive, both spouses should receive thalassemia gene testing. Gene testing mode: The woman would be tested for thalassemia, and her spouse would have thalassemia test too if her result was positive.Results:When using MCV<80 fl as the cut-off for diagnosing thalassemia, the Youden indices of the five prenatal screening modes in Hunan Province were 0.551, 0.639, 0.898, 0.555 and 0.356, while when using MCV<82 fl as the cut-off, the Youden indices were 0.549, 0.629, 0.851, 0.548 and 0.356. When the MCV cut-off value was <80 fl, the missed diagnosis rates of the five screening modes were 44.44%, 0.00, 0.00, 18.52% and 62.96%, and the cost-effectiveness ratios were 21 709, 250 939, 76 870, 138 463 and 92 860 yuan (RMB)/couple, respectively. When the price of genetic testing was lower than 55 yuan (RMB), the cost-effectiveness ratio of genetic screening was lower than that of Mode 3.Conclusions:MCV<80 fl can be considered as the positive criteria in blood routine screening for thalassemia in Hunan Province, and the cost-effectiveness ratio of Mode 3 (the couple received blood routine tests initially. If either was positive, both should receive hemoglobin electrophoresis testing. If either was positive, both parties will conduct thalassemia gene testing) is the best. Genetic screening has certain advantages with the decreasing price.
