Combined small cell lung cancer(C-SCLC)accounts for approximately 20%of all SCLC cases,while the propotion of C-SCLC mixed with squamous cell carcinoma component comprises less than 3%.At the pathological level,accurate diagnosis requires to distinguish it from other lung tumor types,and even rely on molecular testing.This article presents a case of a 67-year-old patient initially diagnosed with a peripheral lung tumor.The patient underwent comprehensive multidisciplinary management,including surgical resection,postoperative pathological differential diagnosis,chemotherapy,thoracic radiotherapy,brain metastasis,cranial radiotherapy,dynamic follow-up of imaging changes after cranial radiotherapy,and cranial surgery.Molecular residual disease(MRD)monitoring was integrated at critical time points during dynamic monitoring to inform personalized treatment decisions.The early MDT has brought the patient′s condition under control,and the overall survival of the patient exceeded 30 months.Through the introduction of the diagnosis and treatment process of this patient,we aim to offer novel perspectives on clinical decision-making for C-SCLC.

Aim To investigate the inhibitory effects of gossypol on migration in gastric carcinoma cell lines and its mechanisms. Methods Gastric carcinoma cells were treated with gossypol at different concentra-tions. The effects of gossypol on cells proliferation were measured using the MTT assay. The migration of gas-tric carcinoma cells was detected by transwell assay. The activation of Akt/β-catenin pathway and the ex-pressions of pathway related proteins ( p-Akt,β-cate-nin, cyclin D1, MMP-2, E-cadherin and vimentin ) were detected by Western blot. Results Gossypol treatment could significantly inhibit the proliferation of gastric carcinoma cells in a dose-dependent manner. Transwell assay showed that the migration ability of
gastric carcinoma cells was significantly decreased. The inhibitory effect of gossypol on cells migration was more significant than the effect of gossypol on cells prolifera-tion. Compared with the control group, treatment with gossypol significantly suppressed the expressions of p-Akt,β-catenin, cyclin D1, MMP-2 and vimentin pro-tein, whereas the expression of E-cadherin was signifi-cantly up-regulated in gastric carcinoma cells in a dose-dependent manner. Conclusion These results demonstrate that gossypol represses cell migration of gastric carcinoma cells through the down-regulation of the activity of Akt/β-catenin pathway.

Objective:To determine the effects of Jinlong capsule combined with interventional therapy on the immune functions of primary hepatocellular carcinoma patients. Methods:Sixty randomly selected cases of clinically diagnosed primary hepatocellular carcinoma were divided into the observation group and the control group. Three days after operation, the observation group was given four Jinlong capsules three times a day for 30 days (one treatment). Meanwhile, the control group received interventional therapy after the operation. One to four days following one treatment, peripheral blood specimens were collected from the two groups to determine the cellular immune function indices. Results:The cell numbers (mean) of the peripheral blood components CD3, CD4, NK, SIL-2R, TSGF, and SIL-2R and the CD4/CD8 ratio in the observation group showed no significant difference before and after treatment. In the control group, these indices were significantly different before and after treatment. Conclusion:The Jinlong capsule facilitates the cellu-lar immunity recovery of patients with primary hepatocellular carcinoma after interventional therapy.

ObjectiveTo study the expressions of Ki-67 and p53 in the surface cells and polygonal cells in pulmonary sclerosing hemangioma(PSH)and investigate the relation of cell proliferation index and biological behaviour of the tumor.MethodsDouble-staining immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expressions of Ki-67 and CK8/18 protein. Double immunofluorescence staining was used to detect the expressions of p53 and AE1/AE3 protein. ResultsThe positive signal of AE1/AE3 and CK8/18 were localized in cytomembrane of surface cells. The positive signal of Ki-67 and p53 were localized in cell nucleus of the two kinds of cells.The positive rate of Ki-67 was under 1％ in surface cells and 1％-10 ％ in polygonal cells. p53 protein was mainly expressed in polygonal cells (6/9, 33.3 ％) and only exsited in seldom surface cells.ConclusionThere are differences on cellular morphous and immunophenotype between the surface cells and polygonal cells.The proliferation index and gene mutation are all predominant in polygonal cells than in surface cells. The biological behaviour of PSH maybe mainly be decided by the polygonal cells.

Objective: To assess the validity and reliability of Chinese edition of SADQ. Methods: 105 stroke patients within 2 weeks after onset were assessed with Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD) and Beck Depression Inventory(BDI). While patients were completing these assessments, their carers were asked to complete SADQ in respect to the patients. SADQ was also administered to 30 carers on two occasions at a 2-week interval. Results: Test-retest reliability was 0.754, and internal consistency reliability was 0.809. The structure validity was evaluated by factor analysis.
