AIM:To investigate the current status and influencing factors of knowledge-attitude-practice in myopia prevention and control among children and adolescents in Ningbo City, thereby providing a scientific basis for formulating targeted prevention strategies.METHODS: Children and adolescents aged 6-12 years old were selected from the medical-school collaborative myopia prevention network in Ningbo City between August 2024 and May 2025 using stratified cluster sampling. Information on myopia prevention knowledge(15 items)and practice(9 items)was collected through questionnaire surveys. Logistic regression models were used to analyze factors influencing myopia occurrence in children and adolescents.RESULTS: A total of 664 children and adolescents aged 6-12 years were enrolled in this study. Participants were divided by age into three groups: 6-7 years old(n=221), 8-9 years old(n=221), and 10-12 years old(n=222). Of the 664 questionnaires distributed, 637 valid questionnaires were returned(201 from the 6-7 age group, 235 from the 8-9 age group, and 201 from the 10-12 age group), yielding an effective response rate of 95.9%. Based on myopia screening results, the non-myopic group comprised 203 participants(31.9%), including 100 males and 103 females, with a mean age of 8.82±1.98 years old. The myopic group comprised 434 participants(68.1%), including 213 males and 221 females, with a mean age of 9.10±1.95 years old. The myopia prevalence rates in the 6-7, 8-9, and 10-12 age groups were 37.8%(76/201), 71.9%(169/235), and 94.0%(189/201), respectively(P<0.001). Regarding the knowledge and practice of myopia prevention, the overall awareness rate in the non-myopic group(59.7%±9.7%)was significantly higher than that in the myopic group(48.7%±8.5%; P<0.001). Additionally, the non-myopic group scored higher on the key practice of “regular eye examinations”(4.27±0.96)compared to the myopic group(4.10±1.05; P<0.05). Logistic regression analysis indicated that age was the primary risk factor for myopia occurrence.CONCLUSION: Age is the dominant factor in the onset of myopia, and there is a phenomenon of “knowledge-practice gap”; the traditional health education model has limitations, and a precise prevention and control system based on developmental patterns should be established.

To compare the performance differences between the multidisciplinary team (MDT) model and the conventional diagnostic and treatment model for lung cancer, and to explore a high-quality development pathway for optimizing lung cancer diagnostic and treatment resources.

Lung cancer ranks first in morbidity and mortality among malignant tumors in China. Low-dose computed tomography (LDCT), as the primary screening method, faces increasingly prominent challenges of false positives and overdiagnosis associated with its high sensitivity. In recent years, the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and three-dimensional reconstruction technology has provided a novel approach to addressing these challenges. This review highlights how AI and three-dimensional reconstruction contribute to improving image quality, enabling precise identification of pulmonary nodules and intelligent risk stratification, optimizing dynamic follow-up strategies, and assisting in preoperative planning, thereby driving the transformation of the LDCT screening paradigm. Meanwhile, current technical limitations and future directions are also discussed.

Blood from a case of group B epidemic cerebrospinal meningitis identified in February 2024 in Ganzhou City,Jiangxi Province,and throat swabs from close contacts were collected for isolation and culture.The isolates were subjected to serogrouping,drug sensitivity testing,and whole genome sequencing and analysis,to provide a basis for epidemiological inves-tigation and clinical drug use.One strain of Neisseria meningitidis was isolated from the blood of the case and denoted group B.The MLST type was ST-7962,with no clonal group attribution.The phylogenetic tree showed that it was genetically close to the 1977 Shanghai carrier isolate(id-52231).Drug sensitivity results indicated that the strain was sensitive to 8 drugs:azithro-mycin,cefotaxime,minocycline,ceftriaxone,chloramphenicol,meropenem,rifampicin,and benzylpenicillin;resistant to cot-rimoxazole,levofloxacin,and ciprofloxacin;and showed an intermediate response to penicillin.This report describes the first case of ST-7962 group B meningoencephalitis found in Jiangxi Province.Monitoring of Neisseria meningitidis carriage,drug re-sistance,and molecular characteristics of strains in the healthy population in this region should be strengthened,to provide la-boratory support for the clinical use of medications,traceability,and control of the pathogen underlying meningoencephalitis infection.

Objective To investigate the karyotypes and the correlation of chromosomal abnormalities in the fetuses with increased nu-chal translucency(NT),so as to provide a basis for prenatal genetic counseling.Methods The clinical data of 386 singleton pregnant women with NT≥2.5mm who underwent invasive prenatal diagnosis at the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from January 2018 to April 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.The fetuses were grouped according to NT thickness(2.5-3.4,3.5-3.9,4.0-4.9,5.0-5.9,and ≥6.0 mm),fetal ultrasound abnormalities(isolated increased NT,non-isolated increased NT),and maternal age(advanced age ≥35 years,non-advanced age＜35 years).The chi-square test was used to compare the differences of the incidence of fetal chromosomal abnormalities among various groups.Results Among the 386 fetuses with increased NT,chromosomal abnormalities were detected in 87 cases with an overall detection rate of 22.5％(87/386),including chromosomal numerical abnormalities accounted for 82.8％(72/87)and copy number variations(CNVs)accounted for 17.2％(15/87).The detection rates of chromosomal abnormal-ities and numerical abnormalities increased with NT thickness(P＜0.05),while no statistically significant difference of CNV abnormali-ty rates was found(P=0.41).The detection rates of chromosomal abnormalities(36.5％)and CNV abnormalities(14.1％)in the non-isolated increased NT group were significantly higher than those in the isolated increased NT group(18.6％and 1.0％,respective-ly,both P＜0.05).The detection rates of chromosomal abnormalities(34.7％)and numerical abnormalities(31.6％)in the fetuses of advanced maternal age mothers with increased NT were significantly higher than those in the non-advanced age group(18.4％and 14.2％,respectively,both P＜0.05).However,the difference of CNV abnormality rates between the two groups was not statistically sig-nificant(P=0.62).Conclusion The detection rate of fetal chromosomal abnormalities elevated with increased NT thickness.Ad-vanced maternal age and the presence of other ultrasound abnormalities were the high-risk factors for fetal chromosomal abnormalities.The risks of CNV abnormalities may not be significantly correlated with NT thickness or maternal age but associated with the presence of other ultrasound abnormalities.

Objective:To observe the effect of point injection at Zusanli(ST36)plus abdominal point application on gastrointestinal dysfunction after laparoscopic surgery.Methods:A total of 204 patients with gastrointestinal dysfunction after laparoscopic surgery were recruited and divided into four groups using the random number table method,with 51 cases in each group.The control group received conventional postoperative intervention.In addition to the treatment in the control group,the point injection group was given point injection at Zusanli(ST36),the application group was offered abdominal point application,and the integrated group received point injection at Zusanli(ST36)and abdominal point application.The treatment lasted 3 consecutive days in all four groups.The recovery time of gastrointestinal function indicators and the incidence rate of postoperative nausea and vomiting(PONV)were observed and recorded.Before and after treatment,the visual analog scale(VAS)was used to assess abdominal pain intensity,the venous blood type 1 helper T cells/type 2 helper T cells(Th1/Th2)was determined,the serum levels of interleukin(IL)-6 and interferon(IFN)-γ were detected using the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,and the plasma levels of motilin and gastrin were measured using radioimmunoassay.Results:Compared to the control group,the first exhaust time,the first defecation time,and the time of restoring fluid diet came earlier in the other three groups(P<0.05)and were earlier in the integrated group than in the point injection and application groups(P<0.05).The point injection,application,and integrated groups had a lower PONV incidence rate than the control group,and the integrated group was lower than the point injection and application groups(P<0.05).The intra-group comparisons showed that the VAS score and the levels of IL-6 and INF-γ decreased after treatment in all four groups(P<0.05);the point injection,application,and integrated groups were lower than the control group(P<0.05),and the integrated group was lower than the point injection and application groups(P<0.05).The intra-group comparisons also demonstrated that the levels of Th1/Th2,motilin,and gastrin increased after the intervention in the four groups(P<0.05);the point injection,application,and integrated groups were higher than the control group(P<0.05),and the integrated group was higher than the point injection and application groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:Point injection at Zusanli(ST36)plus abdominal point application can encourage postoperative exhaust,defecation,and the recovery of diet fluid,alleviate postoperative abdominal pain,reduce PONV,balance Th1/Th2,and regulate the secretion of motilin and gastrin in patients with gastrointestinal dysfunction after laparoscopic surgery.

Atrial fibrillation is a prevalent rapid arrhythmia.Patients often develop kinesiophobia and avoidance behaviors due to reduced exercise tolerance and recurrent episodes of atrial fibrillation symptoms,which adversely affect cardiac rehabilitation outcomes.This study reviewed the definition,occurrence mechanisms,assessment tools,influencing factors,and intervention measures of kinesio-phobia in patients with atrial fibrillation,aiming to provide references for implementing nursing prac-tices and promoting exercise rehabilitation in these patients.
