Objective To explore the current status of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)research on alopecia areata(AA)and arogenetic alopecia(AGA),analyzing the clinical syndrome and treatment characteristics,and providing reference for TCM clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods Search for research literature on traditional Chinese medicine treatment of hair loss in CNKI,Wanfang,and VIP separately.Removing duplicates through Notexpress and using CiteSpace and VOSviewer software for bibliometric analysis.Furthermore,focusing on the RCT research of traditional Chinese medicine internal treatment for AA and AGA,the data mining methods were used to analyze the pathogenesis,treatment methods,and prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicine.Results There are a total of 2954 literature on the treatment of hair loss by traditional Chinese medicine,with clinical research being the main research type.Among them,the main pathogenesis of AA is liver and kidney deficiency,qi and blood deficiency,etc.Commonly used herbs includes Polygonum multiflorum,Rehmannia glutinosa,Chuanxiong,Poria cocos,and Ligustrum lucidum,while the pathogenesis of AGA is mainly dampness heat accumulation,yin deficiency dampness heat,etc.,with commonly used herbs such as Platycladus orientalis,Alisma orientalis,Poria cocos,hawthorn,and Coix seed.Meanwhile,AA and AGA both pay more attention to the use of tonifying drugs in their treatment.Conclusion There is a growing trend in literature on the treatment of hair loss with TCM,and there are differences in the pathogenesis and treatment methods between AA and AGA in traditional Chinese medicine.It is worth further reference in the prescription and medication of clinical treatment of hair loss.

Mink are small,fur-bearing mammals with significant economic value.They have also recently demonstrated immense potential as novel experimental animal models owing to their unique biological characteristics and similarities with humans in terms of their respiratory systems,immune responses,and other characteristics.This article comprehensively reviews applied research on the use of mink as an experimental animal model,encompassing their use as animal models for influenza virus infection,COVID-19,animal behavior,canine distemper,vomiting,enzyme digestion,testicular degeneration,and self-injurious behavior.The importance of animal welfare is also emphasized,and the broad prospects for the use of mink as an experimental animal model in scientific research are proposed,offering valuable insights and a reference for the extensive application of mink as a novel experimental animal model in the future.

Objective Polymorphic microsatellite markers developed for Apodemus peninsulae can enrich its genetic data and lay a foundation for genetic quality control and gene mapping.Methods Microsatellite loci were screened based on the genome sequence of Apodemus peninsulae,and microsatellite primers were identified.The genetic diversity of the population was analyzed by multiplex PCR.Results Thirty microsatellite markers were successfully developed and evaluated using 60 samples of Apodemus peninsulae.A total of 152 alleles were detected,with an average of 5.067 alleles per locus.The average observed heterozygosity was 0.592.The average Shannon index was 1.265.The average polymorphism information content was 0.598.Conclusions Based on the microsatellite loci developed in this study,the genetic diversity of Apodemus peninsulae can be effectively analyzed,laying a foundation for establishing genetic quality standards and detection method.

Objective:To compare the safety and effectiveness of endoscopic full-thickness resection (EFR) and cap-assisted endoscopic full-thickness resection (EFR-C) in the treatment of small gastric stromal tumors (≤1.5 cm) in the elderly (≥60 years old).Methods:Data of elderly patients with small gastric stromal tumors who received EFR (41 cases) or EFR-C (25 cases) at Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital from May 2012 to August 2020 were analyzed retrospectively. The clinicopathological characteristics, the procedures, intraoperative and postoperative complications, postoperative efficacy and economic benefits were compared between the two groups.Results:The R0 resection rates of the EFR group and the EFR-C group were 95.1% (39/41) and 100% (25/25), respectively. The operation time [45.0 (32.5, 66.5) min VS 30.0 (20.0, 42.5) min, U=259.500, P=0.001] and resection time [30.0 (20.0, 50.5) min VS 9.0 (6.5, 16.5) min, U=127.000, P<0.001] of the EFR group were significantly longer than those of the EFR-C group. The rate of hot clamp use in the EFR group was higher than that in the EFR-C group [75.6% (31/41) VS 12.0% (3/25), χ ２=25.159, P<0.001]. The postoperative white blood cell count [8.3 (6.6,10.4)×10 9/L VS 6.3 (5.0,7.7) ×10 9/L, U=271.000, P=0.001] and postoperative neutrophil percentage (77.6%±8.8% VS 73.0%±6.8%, t=2.256, P=0.027) in the EFR group were higher than those in the EFR-C group. The postoperative antibiotic day in the EFR group was longer than that in the EFR-C group (2.8±2.0 days VS 1.0±2.0 days, t=3.625, P=0.001). The hospitalization costs in the EFR group were significantly higher than those in the EFR-C group (20 595.0±3 653.3 yuan VS 13 209.0±4 458.9 yuan, t=7.323, P<0.001). There was no recurrence or metastasis during the follow-up period. Conclusion:EFR and EFR-C are safe and effective for the treatment of small gastric stromal tumors in the elderly. Compared with EFR, EFR-C needs shorter operation time and lower medical costs, yields less postoperative inflammation, and is more suitable for the treatment of small gastric stromal tumors in the elderly.

OBJECTIVE To understand the current status of research on traditional Chinese medicine（TCM） human resources， and to provide a reference for expanding research ideas on TCM human resources and promoting the construction of TCM talents. METHODS From January 1， 2000 to December 31， 2022， literature related to TCM human resources was collected from the three major databases of CNKI， Wanfang and VIP. Using CiteSpace 5.8 R3 software， visualization analysis was performed for the literature in terms of publication time， journal sources， authors， institutions and areas， funding， research content， keywords， etc. RESULTS A total of 324 literature related to TCM human resources in China were included， and the number of literature issued showed an upward trend， with an annual average of 14.09 literature； 161 kinds of journals were involved， core journals accounted for 18.21% of the total publication volume； a total of 23 authors had published 2 or more literature， with a total of 55 literature published （16.98%）； a total of 416 institutions were involved， mainly schools （66.83%）； 60.49% of the literature were supported by the fund. The majorities of 324 literature were survey studies （170 literature）， and most of them used self-designed questionnaires （55 literature）； the high-frequency keywords included talent training， human resources， TCM， etc. The keywords were clustered into 7 categories， such as “human resources“”talent training“”TCM industry“”TCM services“”talent training models” “fairness” and “TCM talents”. The main problems described in the literature included insufficient talent， lack of reasonable distribution of regional structure， lack of reasonable plans for talent training， and insufficient professional knowledge and abilities. Continuously cultivating high-level talents and improving employment conditions in areas with severe human resource loss were the corresponding countermeasures proposed in the literature. CONCLUSIONS The research on TCM human resources starts late but has developed rapidly overall， and the quality of research needs to be improved； the structure of research team is single and unevenly distributed geographically； there is a structural imbalance in the allocation of human resources， as well as problems such as a shortage of professional talents， low levels of education and training and incomplete development systems.

Objective:To compare the clinical effects of hip arthroplasty through direct anterior approach (DAA) in lateral decubitus in the treatment of hip osteoarthritis caused by Kaschin-Beck disease and congenital acetabular dysplasia.Methods:The prospective study method was used to select the patients who needed hip arthroplasty in the Fourth Department of Orthopedics, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University from January 2015 to December 2019. All of them were operated with lateral decubitus DAA. According to the inclusion criteria, they were divided into Kacshin-Beck disease hip osteoarthritis group (group A) and congenital acetabular dysplasia hip osteoarthritis group (group B). Hip Harris score, Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) score, visual analogue scale (VAS) score were conducted, and hip abduction angle and flexion angle were measured before surgery, 3, 14 days and 1, 3, and 12 months after surgery.Results:Nineteen and twenty-two patients were included in group A and group B, respectively. All patients successfully completed the surgery. There was no significant difference in Harris score between the two groups before surgery, 3, 14 days, and 1, 12 months after surgery ( P > 0.05). There were no significant differences in WOMAC score, VAS score, hip abduction angle and hip flexion angle between the two groups before surgery and each time point after surgery ( P > 0.05). In the same group, there were significant differences in Harris score, WOMAC score, VAS score, hip abduction angle and hip flexion angle at different time points ( P < 0.001). All postoperative indicators were significantly improved compared with those before surgery. Conclusions:There is no significant difference in the clinical effects of hip arthroplasty through lateral decubitus DAA in the treatment of hip osteoarthritis caused by Kaschin-Beck disease and congenital acetabular dysplasia. This surgical method has good therapeutic effect on both types of hip osteoarthritis.

Kashin-Beck disease (KBD) is a disabling osteoarthropathy of unknown cause, which occurs most frequently in children and adolescents and affects many regions in China. In adults KBD patients, the degeneration of weight-bearing joints is the most serious, especially the knee joint. Up to now, there are still a large number of adult patients with KBD arthritis of the knee, and they have not been systematically and effectively treated. The main manifestations are knee joint pain, thickening, deformation and restricted movement. In severe cases, it can lead to knee joint varus, valgus, flexion contracture, and rotational deformity, which seriously affects the quality of life and work ability of the patients. Early diagnosis of KBD arthritis of the knee is difficult and there is no effective treatment, so it needs to be differentiated from knee osteoarthritis (OA). KBD and OA have common pathological characteristics. According to the "Consensus of Four-stepladder Program of Knee 0steoarthritis" (2018), OA treatment is divided into four levels: basic treatment, drug treatment, restorative treatment and reconstruction treatment. In this paper, the treatment of KBD arthritis of adult knee joint is summarized, which is also divided into four steps. It is necessary to make stepwise treatments according to the severity of KBD arthritis of the knee and the differences of patient's own condition, so that the limited medical resources can be efficiently used. At the same time, this paper also systematically summarizes the epidemiological characteristics, pathological features and diagnostic criteria of KBD arthritis of the knee, aiming to provide effective reference and guidance for the treatment of KBD arthritis of the knee.

Objective:To compare the safety and efficacy of laparoscopy and laparotomy for 5-10 cm intermediate-risk gastric stromal tumor, and to evaluate whether there was evident benefits of postoperative adjuvant treatment with imatinib.Methods:A retrospective study was conducted on 72 patients with moderate risk gastric stromal tumors (5-10 cm in diameter) who received operation in Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital from January 2010 to July 2020. There were 28 cases in the laparoscopy group and 44 cases in the laparotomy group. The clinical features, pathological data, perioperative results and hospitalization costs were compared between the two groups. The survival rates of postoperative adjuvant therapy with or without imatinib were analyzed and compared.Results:There was no significant difference in clinicopathological features between the two groups ( P>0.05). The incidences of postoperative complications in the laparoscopy group and the laparotomy group were 32.1% (9/28) and 52.3% (23/44) respectively, showing no significant difference ( P=0.094). Compared with the laparotomy group, both the hospital stay (12.5±3.2 days VS 15.0±3.5 days, P=0.004) and the median postoperative hospital stay (7.5 days VS 9.0 days, P=0.006) in the laparoscopy group were significantly shorter, and the first exhaust time was significantly shorter ( P=0.003). During the median follow-up period of 58 months (13-129 months), there was no tumor-related death. Two cases died of breast cancer and heart disease in the laparotomy group, and 1 case died irrelevant to gastric stromal tumor in the laparoscopy group. Of the 72 patients, 40 received postoperative imatinib adjuvant therapy, 22 cases (50.0%) in the laparotomy group and 18 cases (64.3%) in the laparoscopy group, with no significant difference in the proportion ( χ2=1.414, P=0.234). There was significant difference in the overall survival rate between the group treated with imatinib and the group without imatinib ( P=0.015). Conclusion:Laparoscopic resection is safe and effective for intermediate-risk gastric stromal tumor of 5-10 cm. Taking imatinib adjuvant treatment does not increase overall survival rate of patients with intermediate-risk gastric stromal tumors (5-10 cm), and there is no tumor-related death, recurrence or metastasis for those who did not accept imatinib adjuvant treatment after R0 resection.

Objectives:To investigate the diagnostic value of whole blood quantitative PCR for DNA load of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) in post-transplant lymphoproliferative disease (PTLD) after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) .Methods:A total of 694 patients with hematologic diseases who underwent allo-HSCT at the Hematology Department of Peking University First Hospital from April 2004 to April 2019 were included, and their data were retrospectively analyzed.Results:①Among the 694 cases, 29 cases (22 males and 7 females, with a median age of 22 (1-52) years) developed PTLD after allo-HSCT with a cumulative incidence of 4.2% and a median onset time of 2.1 (0.8-20.6) months. ② Univariate analysis showed that age<30 years, diagnosis with aplastic anemia, human leukocyte antigen (HLA) mismatch, use of antithymocyte globulin (ATG) in preconditioning regimens, and EBV reactivation were the risk factors for the occurrence of PTLD. Multivariate analysis showed that EBV reactivation was an independent risk factor for the occurrence of PTLD. ③Further analysis of EBV reactivation cases showed that the peak value of EBV-DNA load was significantly higher in the PTLD group than that in the non-PTLD group ( P<0.001) and the incidence of PTLD increased with the increase of EBV-DNA load. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis indicated that PTLD was more likely to be diagnosed when the EBV-DNA load was >1.19×10 6 copies/ml (sensitivity 0.800 and specificity 0.768) . ④All patients with PTLD received rituximab-based treatment, with an overall response rate of 86.2% and an overall survival rate of 54.3%. Conclusion:The PTLD occurrence after allo-HSCT is highly correlated with EBV reactivation, and the higher the EBV-DNA load, the greater the risk of PTLD occurrence. The dynamic monitoring of EBV-DNA load plays an important role in predicting PTLD occurrence.
