1.Analysis of HPV Infection Characteristics and Influencing Factors for Lesion Grade in Patients with Cervical Squamous Intraepithelial Lesion and Cervical Cancer

To summarize the distribution characteristics of human papillomavirus(HPV) infection types in patients with cervical squamous intraepithelial lesion(SIL) and cervical cancer(CC), and to explore the impact of HPV vaccination, HPV infection types, and general clinical data on different grades of cervical lesions. Clinical data of women attending the gynecological colposcopy clinic of Shenzhen People's Hospital from January 2020 to December 2023 were retrospectively collected. Patients with HPV genotyping records and histopathologically diagnosed SIL or CC were included and divided into three groups based on pathological results: low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion(LSIL) group, high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion(HSIL) group, and CC group. The distribution of high-risk HPV subtypes was analyzed among the three groups, and multivariate Logistic regression was used to identify influencing factors for high-grade cervical lesions. A total of 4162 patients were included, comprising 4057 cervical SIL patients(3317 LSIL and 740 HSIL) and 105 CC patients. The overall mean age was(39.9±11.2) years. The HPV infection rate was 95.1%(3959/4162), and 25.0%(1040/4162) of patients had received HPV vaccination. Among high-risk HPV infections, HPV 52, HPV 16, HPV 58, and HPV 18 were the most common subtypes. HPV 52 had the highest infection rate in the LSIL group(27.6%), while HPV 16 was the most prevalent in the HSIL group(45.3%) and CC group(64.9%). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that HPV vaccination( HPV infection is common in patients with SIL and CC, but the distribution of high-risk HPV subtypes varies among different grades of cervical lesions. It is recommended to strengthen cervical cancer screening and monitoring of key high-risk HPV infections in older and multiparous women in Shenzhen, and to continue promoting HPV vaccination.

ObjectiveTo investigate the correlation between neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR), systemic immune-inflammation index (SII) and the severity of intrauterine adhesions (IUA). MethodsThe retrospective study included 380 patients who underwent transcervical resection of adhesions (TCRA) from December 2019 to March 2025. Based on the American Fertility Society (AFS) classification, patients were divided into mild (n=61), moderate (n=225), and severe (n=94) groups. NLR, PLR, and SII were calculated from preoperative blood tests. Statistical analyses included Kruskal-Wallis test and ordinal Logistic regression. ResultsNLR, PLR, and SII were significantly higher in the severe IUA group compared to the mild group (P<0.05), with SII showing the strongest predictive ability (OR=1.004, P=0.001). The number of intrauterine procedures was an independent risk factor (OR=1.27/level, P=0.016). The predictive model [Logit(P)=-0.676+0.241×operation times+0.004×SII] effectively identified severe IUA cases. ConclusionInflammatory markers (particularly SII) are correlated with IUA severity and may serve as non-invasive tools for clinical assessment.
4.Exploring Anti-inflammatory Synergistic Mechanism of Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma Processed with Aurantii Fructus Immaturus Juice Based on Differential Component Tracking Strategy

ObjectiveTaking Aurantii Fructus Immaturus juice(AFI)-processed Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma(AMR) as an example, this study aims to systematically compare the volatile and non-volatile components of AMR and its processed products, investigate the key differential components, evaluate their anti-inflammatory activities, and elucidate the synergistic mechanism of processing. MethodsThe chemical compositions of volatile and non-volatile components in AMR and AFI-processed AMR were systematically characterized using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS) and ultra-performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole-time-of-flight mass spectrometry(UPLC-Q-TOF-MS), with relative mass fractions and response values determined separately. Volatile components were identified through searches in the National Institute of Standards and Technology(NIST)17 database, comparison with retention index(RI) and fragmentation pattern matching. Non-volatile components were identified by searching Waters Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) spectral library, in conjunction with PubChem and MassBank, characteristic fragmentation patterns and response values were also used to support identification. Differential components were screened using principal component analysis(PCA), orthogonal partial least squares-discriminant analysis(OPLS-DA), with variable importance in the projection(VIP) value >1. Components with high log2fold change(FC) among major differential groups were selected as those exhibiting significant changes before and after processing. The anti-inflammatory activity of the differential compounds was evaluated by assessing their effects on nitric oxide(NO) production in a lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced RAW264.7 macrophage model. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) was used to detect the effects of the differential components on tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α, interleukin(IL)-1β, IL-6, and monocyte chemotactic protein(MCP)-1 levels, and immunofluorescence(IF) was employed to assess their effects on nuclear transcription factor(NF)-κB p65 translocation, thereby elucidating the underlying molecular mechanisms. ResultsA total of 36 compounds were identified in the volatile components of AMR and AFI-processed AMR, among which, sesquiterpenes and monoterpenes were significantly increased after processing. In the non-volatile components, 36 compounds were identified, and the main differential components were flavonoids, sesquiterpenoids, and triterpenoids. Flavonoids were the primary differential components distinguishing AMR from its processed products, representing compounds directly introduced during processing. Five compounds, including atractylenolide Ⅲ, tangeritin, nobiletin, hesperidin and narirutin, were selected as representatives of three classes based on their most prominent differential expression among different compound types for subsequent anti-inflammatory activity studies. The results showed that 100 μmol·L-1 tangerine and narirutin could significantly inhibit LPS-induced NO production(P<0.01) in a concentration-dependent manner. Tangeritin was able to significantly inhibit the levels of TNF-α and MCP-1 secreted by RAW264.7(P<0.05), while narirutin significantly inhibited the levels of TNF-α, IL-1β, MCP-1 and IL-6(P<0.01). IF revealed that both tangeritin and narirutin significantly blocked the translocation of NF-κB p65 from the cytoplasm to the nucleus. ConclusionAFI-processed AMR significantly alters the chemical composition profile of AMR, and the newly introduced flavonoid components during processing may be key to its enhanced anti-inflammatory effects.

The logical direction of patients’ moral responsibilities represents the practical vision and value orientation of patients’ moral responsibility research. Healthy bodies are the direct goal of patients’ moral responsibilities, harmonious interpersonal relationships serve as the basic goal, and good lives represent the core goal. The logical direction of patients’ moral responsibilities returns to the human being, focusing on profound care for real patients and ideal construction. Healthy bodies, harmonious interpersonal relationships, and good lives collectively achieve “good patients”, who are the logical direction of patients’ moral responsibilities.
6.Molecular mechanisms of hyperlipidemic acute pancreatitis comorbid with fatty liver disease

Both hyperlipidemic acute pancreatitis and fatty liver disease are associated with lipid metabolism disorders and are commonly comorbid with each other in clinical practice. The pathogenesis of such comorbidity involves the interaction between multiple factors such as hypertriglyceridemia, metabolic syndrome, obesity, and insulin resistance, and these factors may form a vicious cycle and jointly promote disease progression. In clinical practice, hyperlipidemic acute pancreatitis is characterized by severe disease conditions, a high incidence rate of complications, a high mortality rate, and a tendency for recurrence, and it can easily lead to multi-organ damage and even multiple organ failure without timely treatment, posing a serious threat to the life of patients. Starting from the various signaling pathways associated with hyperlipidemic acute pancreatitis comorbid with fatty liver disease, this article discusses the potential molecular mechanisms of synergistic pathogenesis between hyperlipidemic acute pancreatitis and fatty liver disease, so as to provide a reference for the early prevention and treatment of such comorbidity.
7.Epidemiological characteristics of herpes zoster outpatient cases in Jinshan District, Shanghai,2024

Objective To investigate the incidence and epidemiological characteristics of herpes zoster in Jinshan District, Shanghai, in 2024, and to provide a scientific basis for the development of prevention and control measures. Methods The visit information of herpes zoster cases in 2024 was collected through the outpatient diagnosis and treatment system of medical institutions in Jinshan District. Descriptive epidemiological methods were used for statistical analysis. Results In 2024, there were a total of 7 270 cases of herpes zoster in Jinshan District, including 3 398 male cases and 3 872 female cases. The incidence rate among females was higher than that among males (χ2 =125.25, P< 0.001). Cases occurred in all age groups, with an average age of 59.58 ± 15.28 years. The highest proportion of cases was in the 50-year-old group (21.99%) and the 60-year-old group (25.45%). The incidence rate increased with age (χ2 = 4 505.99, P< 0.001). The main departments for consultation were dermatology, pain clinics, and neurology. The main clinical diagnoses were herpes zoster without complications, postherpetic neuralgia, and incomplete herpes zoster. Among the cases, 3,102 patients had follow-up visits, and the number of follow-up visits increased with age. From 2020 to 2024, a total of 2,032 doses of herpes zoster vaccine were administered in the district, with the highest vaccination rate in the 50-year-old group (54.48%). Conclusion The majority of herpes zoster cases in Jinshan District are concentrated in the 50- and 60-year-old groups. The main complication is postherpetic neuralgia. The incidence rate and number of follow-up visits increase with age. The vaccination rate of herpes zoster vaccine in the entire district is relatively low. It is recommended to enhance monitoring and analysis, carry out health education for key populations (aged 50 years old and above), and promote vaccination and other preventive and control measures.
8.Etiological characteristics and risk factors of urinary tract infection in patients with polycystic kidney disease

ObjectiveTo analyze the etiological characteristics and risk factors of autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) complicated with urinary tract infection (UTI). MethodsA retrospective analysis was performed on 244 patients with ADPKD admitted to the Department of Nephrology. The patients were stratified into a study group (n=138) and a control group (n=106) according to the presence or absence of concurrent UTI. All patients in the study group underwent etiological testing and drug susceptibility testing. Clinical data of both groups were collected to identify the risk factors for ADPKD complicated with UTI. ResultsA total of 105 pathogens were detected in 138 cases in the study group, including 79 Gram-negative bacteria, 20 Gram-positive bacteria and 6 fungi. Escherichia coli showed a relatively high resistance rate to ampicillin, piperacillin and ciprofloxacin. Enterococcus faecalis had a relatively high resistance rate to tetracycline. There were statistically significant differences between the study group and the control group in terms of gender, history of urinary tract infection, C-reactive protein (CRP), increased urine red blood cells, increased urine white blood cells, increased percentage of neutrophils, blood sodium, blood calcium, total cholesterol, serum iron and transferrin saturation (P<0.05). Multivariate binary Logistic regression analysis revealed that female gender (OR=2.236, P=0.004), history of urinary tract infection (OR=2.383, P=0.002), increased urine white blood cells (OR=2.726, P=0.001), increased percentage of neutrophils (OR=1.040, P=0.010), elevated C-reactive protein (OR=1.011, P=0.007) and elevated blood calcium (OR=4.389, P=0.024) were risk factors of urinary tract infection in ADPKD patients (P<0.05). ConclusionThe main pathogens of UTI in patients with ADPKD are Gram-negative bacteria. Female, previous history of urinary tract infection, urinary leukocytosis, increased percentage of neutrophils, increased CRP and increased serum calcium are risk factors of UTI.
9.PRMT1-mediated asymmetric dimethylation of arginine residue 602 in DDX1 promotes cholangiocarcinoma progression

Background/Aims:
Cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) is a primary malignant neoplasm with an extremely poor prognosis. While combined chemoradiotherapy has been demonstrated to delay CCA progression to a certain extent, the absence of specific molecular biomarkers or targets significantly hinders the diagnosis and treatment of CCA.
Methods:
Through cross-analysis of proteomics and ADMA modificationomics, we identified DDX1 overexpressed in CCA with elevated R602-ADMA modifications. HPLC-MS/MS identified PRMT1 as the methyltransferase and USP10 as the deubiquitinating enzyme for DDX1. Immunofluorescence and nuclear-cytoplasmic partitioning experiments confirmed DDX1’s nuclear localization. GO and KEGG analyses clarify the biological functions of DDX1 in response to hypoxia. RNA-seq transcriptomics analyzed key pathways influenced by DDX1. A hydrodynamic in situ CCA mouse model was established to validate the chemopreventive effects of the PRMT1-specific inhibitor GSK715 on CCA development.
Results:
DDX1 promotes CCA progression both in vivo and in vitro and can be inhibited by GSK715. Mechanistically, PRMT1 mediates ADMA modification at position R602 of DDX1. This modification promotes DDX1 nuclear localization by recruiting USP10 to deubiquitinate DDX1, while simultaneously inhibiting PRMT1 degradation. DDX1 promotes the transcription of PRMT1 and USP10 by binding to the mRNA 3’UTR region, establishing a positive feedback regulatory pathway. This mechanism promotes the occurrence and development of CCA and can serve as a target for the inhibitor GSK715 to suppress CCA progression.
Conclusions
Our study identified DDX1-R602-ADMA modification as a novel ADMA modification in CCA. It further confirmed its pivotal role in CCA progression. Targeting the USP10-PRMT1-DDX1 axis may represent a significant therapeutic approach for CCA.
10.Association between spinal curvature abnormalities and classroom environment among primary and secondary school students in Henan Province

Objective:
To investigate the epidemiological characteristics of spinal curvature abnormalities among primary and secondary school students in Henan Province, and to explore their association with classroom environment, so as to provide scientific evidence for targeted prevention and control strategies.
Methods:
From September to October 2025, 751 schools from 158 counties/districts in Henan Province were chosen by using a stratified random cluster sampling technique. A total of 4 019 classrooms were monitored and physical examinations for 202 293 students were conducted. By matching classroom environment monitoring data with student physical examination information, Chi square test and Chi square test for trend were used for between group comparisons, and a multilevel Logistic regression model was used to analyze the association between classroom environment and spinal curvature abnormalities among primary and secondary school students.
Results:
The detection rate of spinal curvature abnormalities among primary and secondary school students in Henan Province was 2.48% in 2025. The rate was higher in girls ( 2.65 %) compared to boys (2.32%), higher in urban students (3.23%) compared to rural students (2.01%), and higher in wasted students (3.89%) compared to non wasted students (2.39%); all differences were statistically significant ( χ 2=22.92, 298.34 , 100.84, all P <0.05). Age and school stage were associated with an increasing trend in the detection rate of spinal curvature abnormalities ( χ 2 trend = 1 494.46 , 1 430.79, both P <0.05). After controlling for confounding variables like residence area, sex, and age, multilevel Logistic regression analysis revealed that non compliance with desk-chair fit standards ( OR=1.47, 95%CI = 1.22-1.78), blackboard reflectance ( OR=1.18, 95%CI =1.06-1.33), and blackboard size ( OR =1.37, 95% CI =1.21-1.55) increased the risk of spinal curvature abnormalities among primary and secondary school students (all P <0.01).
Conclusions
There are population based differences in spinal curvature abnormalities among primary and secondary school students in Henan Province. The occurrence is strongly correlated with elements of the teaching environment. It is necessary to put in place comprehensive preventative and control strategies that focus on pertinent environmental elements.
