This paper explores the possibility of improving syndrome differentiation system of weifen,qifen,yingfen and xuefen.Clinical manifestations of xuefen syndrome in warm diseases are diverse with complex pathogenesis.Based on the previous re-search of the research group and the theories of essence and marrow,combined with characteristics of bleeding,organ failure,abnormal consciousness,and spasms in the extreme and late stages of warm diseases,it is suggested that the traditional xuefen syndrome should be further subdivided into xuefen syndrome mainly characterized by disorders in blood generation,circulation,and function,jingfen syndrome mainly characterized by organ failure,and suifen syndrome mainly characterized by symptoms of consciousness and nervous system abnormalities.Adopting six stage differentiation and treatment of weifen,qifen,yingfen,xuefen,jingfen and suifen not only ex-pands the progressive pattern of warm disease pathogenesis,deepens the understanding of the pathogenesis essence of each stage in warm diseases,especially the extreme and late stages,promotes the precision of treatment guides and prescriptions,but also helps us understand the common transformation and evolution laws of external and internal diseases,and thus improves the diagnosis and treat-ment effectiveness.

Based on the theory ofYe Tianshi that“disease progressively, chronic diseases transforming to collaterals”, physiological and pathological features of the lung were combined to elucidate the pathogenesis of pulmonary fibrosis, which had the characteristics of disease progressed from superficial location to deeper regions, and the disease transformed from functional to organic disease lesions. The initial stage was mainlyqi disorders and dysfunction due to evilqi invasion andqi disorder in the lung collaterals. The treatment was to disperseqi and regulate collaterals. In the middle or later stage, the main pathogenesis was lung deficiency and blood stasis due to the obstruction of lung collaterals, as well as long-term mixture of deficiency and stasis. The treatment was to remove obstruction and tonify deficiency. Therefore, dispersingqi and regulating collaterals, as well as removing obstruction and tonifying deficiency were the main treatment methods of pulmonary fibrosis. Analysis on pulmonary fibrosis from the theory of“disease progressively, chronic diseases transforming to collaterals”, can give a good summary and explanation of the disease occurrence, progress and development with important clinical significance.

Chronic hepatitis B is a disease severely harming people health; to apply TCM combination of differentiation of signs and disease, and notifying and attack methods can reach the aim of readjusting Qi blood, dredging channels and removing pathogeny. Besides, only by closely combining modern pharmacological study, can we better exert the advantages of TCM treating chronic hepatitis B.

Objective To study the effect of Yangfei Huoxue Prescription on ERK1/2 and NFK-B of bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis in rats. Methods All of rats were randomly divided into seven groups and were intratracheally infused with bleomycin to build the model. Sham operation group and model group were given 5‰ CMC, dexamethasone group was given dexarnethasone solution, and each treatment group was given corresponding Chinese medicine mixture. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of Yangyin Shengjin Decoction (YYSJD) on hemorheological parameters and coagulation factors in model rabbits with syndrome of excessive heat consuming body fluid and blood stasis. METHODS: Rabbit model with syndrome of excessive heat consuming body fluid and blood stasis was produced. The effects of YYSJD on the blood viscosity, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), hematocrit, platelet aggregation rate, prothrombin time (PT), thrombin time (TT), kaolin partial thromboplastin time (KPTT), fibrinogen (Fg), thromboxane B(2) (TXB(2)), and 6-keto-prostaglandin F(1alpha) (6-keto-PGF(1alpha)) in the model rabbits were observed. RESULTS: YYSJD decreased the whole blood viscosity and hematocrit, inhibited the platelet aggregation, prolonged PT, TT and KPTT, and reduced the content of Fg. It also regulated the balance between TXB(2) and 6-keto-PGF(1alpha). CONCLUSION: YYSJD can promote the blood circulation, adjust the blood agglutinating function, and decrease the formation of thrombus. This is one of the pharmacological mechanisms of the therapeutic method of "nourishing yin to promote blood circulation" in the theory of traditional Chinese medicine for seasonal febrile diseases.

Objective:To observe the anti inflammatory action of Yangfeihuoxue Decoction and its effects on inflammatory mediums. Methods: The mouse and rat inflammatory models were established by dimethylbenzene, carrageenin and paper strip investing method, and the rat model of pulmonary fibrosis was established by bleomycin.
