Objective:To investigate the impact of four registration methods on the accuracy of virtual occlusal records (VOR) in intraoral scanning for implant restorations with multiple missing teeth.Methods:A mandibular model simulating clinical conditions with multiple missing teeth (right first molar, left second premolar, left first molar, left second molar) and a maxillary compete dentition model were mounted on a semi-adjustable articulator. Subsequently, twelve 0.5 mm stainless steel spheres were adhered to reference positions (16, 46, 13, 43, 23, 33, 25, 35, 26, 36, 27, 37) as fiducial markers. Following this, a laboratory scanner generated reference datasets by digitizing the models in maximum intercuspation (MIP). Meanwhile, ten maxillary and mandibular scans were acquired using an intraoral scanner, with all nonarticulated scans duplicated four times to ensure data consistency. Forty VOR intraoral scans were performed in MIP using four registration protocols: left-side, right-side, anterior, and bilateral registration ( n=10 per group), randomized via a computer-generated pseudo-random sequence. For measurement, linear distances (D16-46, D13-43, D23-33, D25-35, D26-36, D27-37, D16-46 represented the single-tooth defect position, whereas D25-35, D26-36, D27-37 reflected positions in free-end edentulism areas) between opposing markers were measured in a reverse engineering software, with deviations (ΔD) from the reference scan calculated to assess accuracy. Specifically, negative ΔD values indicated vertical dimension underestimation. Given that non-normally distributed data were analyzed using medians [interquartile ranges (IQR)], trueness (median ΔD) and precision (IQR) were evaluated. The interaction effect between the registration method and the position of the measurement items was evaluated by using the generalized linear model. The accuracy was compared overall by the Kruskal-Wallis test with the two-sided significance level of α=0.05. For pairwise comparisons, post-hoc tests were conducted by Dunn′s t-test with the Bonferroni correction for the significance level. Results:The accuracy of VOR was affected by registration method ( P<0.05), with a significant position×registration method interaction observed ( P<0.05). In particular, in all four groups, only the bilateral registration group showed trueness of less than 0.1 mm for both free-end edentulism and the single tooth defect, with ΔD16-46, ΔD25-35, ΔD26-36, and ΔD27-37 being 0.059 (0.015), -0.082 (0.052), -0.065 (0.032), -0.070 (0.050) mm, respectively. Moreover, trueness in free-end edentulism showed negative values across all groups, with the largest negative deviations observed in the right-side registration group, with ΔD25-35, ΔD26-36 and ΔD27-37 being -0.410 (0.174), -0.442 (0.225), -0.439 (0.262) mm, respectively. Conclusions:In fully digital workflows of implant restorations for mandibular free-end edentulism with multiple missing teeth, registration method critically influences VOR accuracy. While four registration methods exhibited underestimation of occlusal vertical dimension, bilateral registration achieved the highest accuracy.

Objective To investigate the value of magnetic resonance imaging-proton density fat fraction(MRI-PDFF)in evaluating hepatic steatosis in patients with chronic hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection.Methods The patients,aged>16 years,who visited the outpatient service or were hospitalized in Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital from January 2018 to December 2022 and were diagnosed with chronic HBV infection were enrolled,and all patients underwent MRI examination of the liver in our hospital.The patients were divided into groups based on the presence or absence of liver cirrhosis,and the consistency in PDFF between different hepatic segments was compared between groups.The Kappa consistency test and intraclass correlation coefficient(ICC)were used for consistency analysis.Results A total of 76 patients treated with nucleoside analogues were enrolled,among whom 23(30.26％)had liver cirrhosis.For all patients,the simple arithmetic average of PDFF fluctuated between 1.49％and 30.93％.According to MRI-PDFF≥5％as the diagnostic criterion for fatty liver disease,there were 29 patients(38.16％)with fatty liver disease among all patients.For all 76 patients,the simple arithmetic average of PDFF was lower than the weighted average of PDFF for the whole liver,and there was no significant difference between the simple arithmetic average of PDFF,the weighted average of PDFF,and the PDFF values of the left and right lobes of the liver(F=0.39,P=0.76).The consistency test showed that the PDFF values of each hepatic segment and the left and right lobes of the liver had strong consistency with the weighted average and simple arithmetic average of PDFF,with an ICC of>0.75,but the consistency between the PDFF value of the right lobe and the weighted average of PDFF was higher than that between the PDFF value of the left lobe and the weighted average of PDFF.In the consistency test of differentiating fatty liver disease in patients with liver cirrhosis,there was poor consistency between the PDFF value of segment Ⅶ and the weighted average of PDFF(Kappa=0.39),with moderate consistency for the left lobe and the Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅴ,Ⅵ,and Ⅷ segments.For the patients with liver cirrhosis,the lowest consistency was observed between the PDFF value of Ⅶ segment and the weighted average of PDFF for the whole liver,and the highest consistency was observed between the PDFF value of Ⅵ segment and the weighted average of PDFF for the whole liver.For the patients without liver cirrhosis,the lowest consistency was observed between the PDFF value of Ⅱ segment and the weighted average of PDFF for the whole liver,and the highest consistency was observed between the PDFF value of Ⅴ segment and the weighted average of PDFF for the whole liver.Conclusion MRI-PDFF is more comprehensive in evaluating hepatic steatosis in patients with chronic HBV infection,and for the patients with liver cirrhosis,there is poor consistency between the PDFF value of each segment and the weighted average of PDFF.

Objective:To explore the clinical value of cluster management in secondary hydrocephalus.Methods:Seventy-seven patients with secondary hydrocephalus admitted to Department of Neurosurgery, Shenzhen Second People's Hospital from January 2016 to June 2021 were chosen; they were divided into traditional management group ( n=30) and cluster management group ( n=47) according to different management methods. Patients in traditional management group accepted craniocerebral CT and 3 consecutive times of cerebrospinal fluid tests, and normal results were achieved and then ventriculoperitoneal shunt (VPS) was performed. In patients from the cluster management group, on the basis of management treatment, cranial plain and enhanced MRI and DNA metagenomic next generation sequencing of cerebrospinal fluid were performed before surgery, and rapid test of cerebrospinal fluid and ventriculoscope observation were performed during surgery; after exclusion of intracranial infection, VPS was performed. The differences of shunt failure rate were compared between the two groups and the positive rates of intracranial infection detected by above 4 methods were compared in the cluster management group. Results:There was significant difference in shunt failure rate between the cluster management group and traditional management group (2.1% vs. 20.0%, P<0.05). The positive rates of intracranial infection by DNA metagenomics (61.7%) and ventriculoscopy (68.1%) were significantly higher than those by preoperative cranial plain and enhanced MRI (14.9%) and rapid test of cerebrospinal fluid (6.4%, P<0.05). Conclusion:Cluster management can effectively decrease the VPS failure rate in secondary hydrocephalus; DNA metagenomics and ventriculoscopy have high efficiency in detecting intracranial infection.

OBJECTIVE：To investigate the contents of 5 kinds of heavy metal as copper （Cu），arsenic（As），cadmium （Cd），mercury（Hg）and lead （Pb）in Yougui pills ，and to evaluate its safety risk. METHODS ：Using yttrium （89Y），indium （115In）and bismuth （209bi）as internal standard ，the contents of each element were determined by ICP-MS. ICP-MS condition included that atomization gas flow rate was 0.95 L/min，auxiliary gas flow rate was 1.2 L/min，plasma gas （argon）flow rate was 18 L/min，pump speed was 30 r/min. RF power of inductively coupled plasma was 1 200 W，the voltage in simulation stage was 1 750 V，the voltage in pulse stage was 1 300 V，the voltage of deflection device was －12 V，and the detector was in analog and pulse dual-mode. The determination methods of various elements were investigated ，and 45 batches of marketed Yougui pills were determined. Hazard index （HI）was used to analyze the non-carcinogenic risk of each element and calculate the maximum residual limit（MRL）of each element. RESULTS ：The linear range of Cu ，As，Cd，Hg and Pb ranged from 10-200，1-50，0.4-30，0.2-6 and 2-100 μg/L（all r＞0.999 0），respectively. The limits of quantitation were 0.67，0.23，0.20，0.07，0.27 μg/L. The limits of detection were 0.20，0.07，0.06，0.02，0.08 μg/L. RSDs of precision，stability and reproducibility tests were all lower than 3.5％ （n＝6 or n＝5）. Average recoveries were 92.96％-100.89％（RSD＝2.23％-3.62％，n＝3）. Average contents of Cu ，As，Cd，Hg and Pb in 45 batches of Yougui pills were 2.72，0.28，0.07，0.05，0.62 mg/kg，and superimposed HI of each element was less than 1. The contents of 5 kinds of heavy metals in Yougui pills were lower than the proposed MRL （MRL of Cu ，As，Cd，Hg and Pb were 20，2，1，0.2，5 mg/kg or 111.11，4.44，2.22，1.48，8.89 mg/kg respectively ）. CONCLUSIONS ：Established method can be used for the determination of content of 5 kinds of heavy metal in Yougui pills ；the heavy metal pollution rate of marketed Yougui pills is low and the safety risk is small.

Objective To investigate the risk factors for post-traumatic hydrocephalus ( PTH) after traumatic brain injury ( TBI ) . Methods A retrospective case control analysis was made on the clinical data of 794 patients with acute TBI admitted to Shenzhen Second People's Hospital between January 2007 and January 2017. There were 639 males and 155 females, aged 1-90 years [(40. 5 ± 18. 6)years]. All patients were followed up for 1 years, and the patients were divided into PTH group (n=46) and non-PTH group (n=748) according to their prognosis. The following information including Glasgow coma score ( GCS ) on admission, pupil reflex, midline shift and cistern compression, subarachnoid hemorrhage ( SAH ) , operation method, decompressive craniectomy, hydrocephalus after operation, intracranial infection, timing of cranioplasty were analyzed using univariate analysis and Logistic regression. Results PTH occurred in 46 patients (5. 8％). Univariate analysis showed that GCS, midline shift, decompressive craniectomy, subdural effusion, timing of cranioplasty and SAH were significantly related to PTH (P<0. 05 or 0. 01). Logistic regression identified low GCS (OR=3. 778), decompressive craniectomy (OR=2. 508), subdural effusion (OR=2. 269), timing of cranioplasty (≥3 months)(OR=10. 478) and SAH (OR=23. 391) as the independent risk factors for PTH (P<0. 05 or 0. 01). Conclusion PTH is a common serious complication of traumatic brain injury, affected by low GCS, decompressive craniectomy, subdural effusion, delayed cranioplasty and SAH.

Objective To explore the characteristics of respiratory tract microbiota and its clinical significance in children with protracted bacterial bronchitis (PBB).Methods Twelve children aged from 5 months to 2 years old with PBB (PBB group) and 12 age-matched tracheomalacia(TM) children (TM group) were included in this study,who were admitted into the Respiratory Department of Shenzhen Children's Hospital.Their bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) samples were collected.Bacterial DNA was extracted from their BALF samples and the 16S rRNA V3-V4 region was sequenced by using Illumina MiSeq TMII system,and the findings were analyzed by bioinformatics methods.Results Principal component analysis revealed the difference in microbiota composition between 2 groups.Compared with TM group,PBB group exhibited lower microbial diversity:the Shannon indices were also 1.683 ± 0.703 and 2.324 ± 0.142 for PBB group and TM group respectively,and the differences were also significant(all P ＜ 0.05),and the Simpson indices were 0.416 ± 0.216 and 0.191 ± 0.025 for PBB group and TM group,respectively,and the differences were also significant (all P ＜ 0.05).The relative abundance of Actinobacteria was significantly lower in PBB group [(0.215 ± 0.228) ％] than that in TM group [(3.028 ± 0.592) ％] (P ＜ 0.01).The proportions of beneficial genera obviously decreased in PBB group,including Lactococcus [(13.464±7.319)％ in PBB group,and (44.784 ± 5.020)％ in TM group,P ＜0.01],Lactobacillus [(0.153 ±0.076)％ in PBB group,and (0.313 ±0.060)％ in TM group,P＜0.01],andArthrobacter [(0.024 ±0.018)％ in PBB group,and (2.970 ±0.584)％ in TM group,P＜0.01].On the other hand,the relative abundances of opportunistic pathogenic genera increased in PBB group significantly,including Haemophilus [(14.319 ± 29.532) ％ in PBB group,and (0.047 ± 0.127) ％ in TM group,P ＜ 0.Ol],Pseudomonas [(10.406 ± 25.439) ％ in PBB group,and (7.228 ± 0.948) ％ in TM group,P ＜ 0.01],and Escherichia [(0.432 ±0.441)％ in PBB group,and (0.055 ±0.035)％ in TM group,P ＜0.01].Conclusion These findings confirmed the existence of respiratory tract microbiotia dysbiosis in PBB,which probably was one of the pathogenetic mechanisms for PBB.

Objective To investigate the hemoglobin (Hb) levels during pregnancy and Hb changes from early pregnancy and association with birth weight on infants.Methods Mothers of Zhuang Nationality who participated in the pregnancy care program and delivered at the Pingguo County Hospital from May 2013 to May 2015 were included in this study.Retrospective analysis was applied to collect data of health care and pregnancy outcomes.Multiple regression analysis and unconditional logistic regression model were used for data analysis.Results The mean birth weight appeared as (313 5.92± 435.84) grams.The Hb levels at early pregnancy showed significantly positive association with birth weight.Results from our study demonstrated that when Hb levels increased +1 g/dl at early pregnancy,birth weight would increase 17.61(95％CI:0.60-34.67) grams,in the adjusted model.The Hb levels at late pregnancy were significantly inversely associated with birth weight.Our findings suggested that when Hb levels increased + 1 g/di at late pregnancy,birth weight would reduce 19.61(95％ CI:-37.53--1.70) grams in the adjusted model.Changes in Hb from early pregnancy stages were significantly inversely associated with birth weight after adjusting for confounders and Hb levels in the early pregnancy stages.The results also indicated that when Hb levels increased a + 1 g/dl from early to late pregnancy,the birth weight would decrease 32.63 g(95％ CI:-48.93--16.32).Compared to the non-anemia group,the anemia group showed significantly increase of small-for-gestational-age (SGA)(OR=1.58,95％CI:1.08-2.32) in early pregnancy.Compared to women under the most reduction status,women with the least reduction had a significantly increase of SGA (OR=1.87,95％CI:1.24-2.81) among their infants.With the magnitude of reduction on Hb concentration during pregnancy,the risk of delivering babies with SGA showed a gradual trends of increase.Conclusion Hb levels at early pregnancy were positively associated with birth weight,but the changes of Hb were inversely associated with birth weight at late pregnancy,in women of Zhuang Nationality.Anemia in early pregnancy and the low amplitude of decreased Hb concentration during pregnancy were both risk factors for newborns under less gestational ages.

Objective To explore the effects of exercise instruction during the whole course of pregnancy by mobile phone APP on master of pregnancy motor knowledge, body movement during pregnancy and gestation related index. Methods Totals of 186 pregnant women who received prenatal examination during early pregnancy were selected. They were divided into intervention group (n=96) and control group (n=90) according to random number table. Patients in the intervention group received exercise instruction during the whole course by mobile phone APP involving pushing pregnancy motor knowledge at regular intervals, sharing authoritative movement method, reminding the time of further consultation and arranging experts for response to messages of pregnant women and so on. Patients in the control group accepted routine exercise instruction with the existing model of pregnancy movement. The master of pregnancy motor knowledge, body movement during pregnancy and gestation related index were compared. Results The total scores of the master of pregnancy motor knowledge in the intervention group and the control group were (77.22±7.07) and (63.31±5.91) with a significant difference (t=14.592, P< 0.001). There was a statistically significant difference in the average total energy consumed per week between the intervention group (154.62±20.74) MET-hours and the control group (105.48±15.81) MET-hours (t=18.240, P< 0.001). Besides, the differences in pregnancy weight gain, antenatal weight, postpartum BMI and pelvic floor muscle strength between two groups were significant (t=-7.715, -4.438, -9.805, 13.988; P< 0.001). The amount of vaginal bleeding, cesarean section rate, perineotomy rate with spontaneous labor during the second stage, total stage of labor and two hours after delivery in the intervention group were lower than those in the control group with significant differences (P< 0.05). Conclusions The exercise instruction during the whole course of pregnancy by mobile phone APP can improve the master of pregnancy motor knowledge and increase the energy consumed during pregnancy, so as to improve the gestation related index, reduce the cesarean section rate and perineotomy rate with spontaneous labor. It is better than the existing model of pregnancy movement.
