The pregnant woman was 39 years old，G2P1，a fetal goiter was found at 25 weeks at the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University，and thyroid function was normal during the pregnancy. Amniocentesis revealed the presence of two DUOX2 mutations in fetal DNA：c.3340delC（P.L1114Sfs56）in exon 25 and c.2654G＞A（p.R885Q）in exon 20，which were determined to be heritable by familial genetic testing. Many fetal and neonatal ultrasounds have shown goiter，rich blood flow in the parenchyma and low postnatal thyroid hormone levels led to the diagnosis of congenital hypothyroidism. The patient was given L-thyroxine 30 μg/d. After 3 months of follow-up，the thyroid function was normal without developmental problems.

Objective To study the relationship between the positive expression of human leukocyte antigen B27 (HLA-B27) in different age groups and genders in Uygur and Han nationality in Xinjiang,and explore the clinical value of HLA-B27 in different ethnic groups.Methods From January 2013 to November 2016,1 416 cases of Uygur and Han patients with positive expression of HLA-B27 were detected by flow cytometry.There were 369 cases of Uygur and 1 047 cases of Han.Results Independent samples t-test showed that the positive expression of HLA-B27 in Uygur and Han population was statistically significant (165.22±8.262 vs 163.99±8.113,t=2.479,P=0.013).In male,there was a significant difference in the positive expression of HLA-B27 between Uygur and Han population (165.40 ± 8.237 vs 163.99 ± 8.164,t =2.187,P =0.029).In the age of 41～60 years old and ＞60 years old,the positive expression of HLA-B27 in Uygur was higher than that in Han nationality (166.18 ± 7.650 vs 164.53 ± 8.018,t =2.215,P =0.027;171.63 ± 8.134 vs 167.40 ± 9.469,t =2.126,P=0.035).There was no significant difference in the positive expression of HLA-B27 between Uygur and Han nationality in women,as well as in the age of 20 years and 21～40 years (t=-0.029～1.257,all P＞0.05).Conclusion The investigation showed that the positive expression of HLA-B27 in Uygur was higher than that in Han nationality.The content of HLA-B27 positive expression has racial difference.

Objective To explore the expression and the changes of ski with time in the injured spinal cord in rats. Methods Sixty adult female Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into sham group (n=30) and injury group (n=30), each group were further divided into 1 week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 12 weeks subgroups, with 6 rats in each subgroup. Spinal cord injury at T10 was established with modi-fied Allen's technique (10 g × 25 mm) in the injury group. The hindlimbs behavior of rats was rated with Basso-Beattie-Bresnahan (BBB) scores 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 12 weeks after spinal cord injury. Three rats in each subgroup were stained with HE staining to observe the pathological changes of the spinal cord and the formation of cavity. The other 3 rats were analyzed with im-munofluorescence staining of ski and semi quantitative analysis. Results The BBB scores of each time point were less in the injury group than in the sham group (P<0.05). Necrosis was the major pathological change in the injury groups 1 and 2 weeks after injury;cystic cavity completely formed 4 weeks after injury, with dense scar tissue around it;there was no significant change in the cavity and scar 8 and 12 weeks after injury, however, the adjacent spinal cord was obviously thinner. Ski expressed little in the normal spinal cord, and expressed more and more after injury, peaked at 8 weeks and decreased then. Ski was mainly observed in white matter in the sham group and 12 weeks injury subgroup, which was in gray matter 2, 4 and 8 weeks after injury. Ski was highly expressed around the cavity in injury center and formed high expression band. Conclusion Ski expresses after spinal cord injury in rats, that may be associated with the activation and prolif-eration of astrocytes and the formation of glial scar.
