The Guidelines for Occupational Hazard Assessment and Control of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient in the Pharmaceutical Industry (T/WSJD 60—2024) is the first guiding standard in the field of health in China that focuses on occupational health protection for active pharmaceutical ingredient (API). It covers the general principles, work procedures, assessment methods, and control strategies for API occupational hazard assessment, providing practical guidance and recommendations for pharmaceutical enterprises to eliminate or reduce occupational health risks associated with API, improve working environment, and enhance refined management practices. This article interpreted and analyzed the background of standard establishment, formulation process, fundamental basis, and main content, to provide scientific and comprehensive technical support for occupational health managers in the pharmaceutical industry to better apply this standard.

Objective:To explore high-risk sexual behaviors of HIV/AIDS and related factors in young students in Guangzhou.Methods:A cross-sectional survey was conducted in 5 different types of Guangzhou colleges by convenience sampling with minimum number of classes per grade and 600 samples per school from September to November 2021. The R 4.2.2 software was used to consolidate databases. Simultaneously, a logistic regression model and a decision tree algorithm model, stratifying by whether sexual behaviors had occurred before, were constructed. In each layer, the prediction performance of the two models was evaluated through area under receiver operating characteristic and the confusion matrix, and then the model with high prediction performance was retained.Results:A total of 7 346 students were surveyed. The proportion of the respondents reporting sexual experience were 9.08% (667/7 346), in whom 26.24% (175/667) had risky sexual activity in the past year. The decision tree algorithm model performs well in predicting whether high-risk sexual behaviors have occurred in the past year. When the complexity parameter value is 0.018, and nsplit reaches 4, which means there are 5 leaf nodes in the model, the cross error of the tree will be the smallest. The first best grouping variable in the decision tree was whether to use condoms throughout the first sexual behavior. If condoms were used at their sexual debut, but homosexual practices have occurred in the past year, the probability of risky sexual behavior will increase. If homosexual practices have not occurred in the past year, but the age of sexual debut was below 18 years old while the period of HIV education was after high school, the probability of risk sexual behavior will also increase.Conclusions:AIDS-related risky behaviors of young students still deserved attention. The experience of sexual debut and whether AIDS-related health education has been received before the sexual debut were significant predictors for the occurrence of high-risk sexual behavior. The decision tree algorithm model has particular applicability for predicting and screening potential risk populations.

Objective: To understand the prevalence of HIV testing and related factors among young students who had sex in Guangdong Province, in order to provide evidence for relevant education programs and HIV testing promotion in young students. Methods: From September to December 2022, a convenient sampling method was used to select 48 749 young students from 16 universities and mechanic colleges in 6 cities including Guangzhou, Shantou, Maoming, Huizhou, Dongguan, and Zhongshan in Guangdong Province for online questionnaire survey. A total of 2 971 students who ever had sexual experiences were screened out, and the HIV testing situation and related factors were investigated by using the questionnaire designed by AIDS Prevention and Education Project for College Students of China STD and AIDS Prevention Association.The influencing factors of HIV testing were analyzed using Chi square test and multiple Logistic regression model. Results: Among students who had sexual experiences, 11.92% (354/2 971) were tested for HIV. The results of multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that among young sexual students, using psychoactive substances during sexual activity in the last 1 year ( OR =7.70), having first sex with the same sex ( OR =3.87), having commercial sex ( OR =2.37), having heard of PEP ( OR =2.20), having a high level of self assessed understanding of HIV testing ( OR =1.73), inconsistent use of condoms ( OR =1.56), being aware of HIV infection ( OR =1.53), being aware of HIV knowledge ( OR =1.51) were more likely to test for HIV, and females ( OR =0.39) were less likely to test for HIV ( P < 0.05). Conclusions The proportion of HIV testing is low among sexually active young students in Guangdong Province. Targeted interventions should be tailored to promote HIV testing coverage.

Objective:To investigate the current situation of medical equipment allocation in 103 tertiary public hospitals,analyze and compare the proportion of medical equipment in different regional hospitals in our country,and provide basis for scientific and reasonable allocation of medical equipment.Methods:A questionnaire was designed by literature research and expert consultation,and an electronic questionnaire was released through the public account of"China Medical Equipment"and the platform of"Good Medical Workers"to analyze the correlation between the number of medical equipment configuration,the proportion of domestic products,the region where the hospital was located and the number of hospital beds.Results:A total of 103 valid questionnaires were collected,involving 103 tertiary public hospitals in East China,North China,Central China,South China,Southwest,Northwest and Northeast China,of which 18%were in North China,37%were in East China and 9%were in South China.In North China,South China and East China,the average number of medical equipment in the tertiary public hospitals in the region was 9785 units per hospital,9245 units per hospital and 8153 units per hospital,and the number of the expensive equipment was relatively small,which had no correlation with the number of beds.There were statistically significant differences between North China and East China in the number of beds,the number of pieces of equipment per 100 beds and the amount of equipment per 100 beds(t=-2.582,2.939,4.653,P＜0.05).The number of life support equipment configuration was significantly positively correlated with the number of beds,and the domestic share,especially the domestic share of life support equipment,increased.Conclusion:The analysis of medical equipment allocation in public hospitals in China can provide data support for hospitals to better adapt to the adjustment of the new expensive medical equipment catalogue,provide reference for the demonstration and promotion of large medical equipment allocation and localization in tertiary hospitals,and provide reference for relevant health management departments.

Objective:To establish a method for the determination of n-butylamine in the air of the workplace by ion chromatography.Methods:In February 2022, on-site sampling was carried out using an atmospheric sampler. N-butylamine was adsorbed by a neutral silica gel tube and then performed for qualitative and quantitative determination by ion chromatography after ultrasonic desorption with 10 mmol/L sulfuric acid solution.Results:The linear range of the method was 0.0375-100.0 μg/ml, the linear equation of the standard curve was y=0.0713 x-0.0327, the correlation coefficient was 0.9992. The detection limit of the method was 11.25 μg/L, and the lower limit of quantification was 37.50 μg/L, the lowest quantitative concentration was 0.025 mg/m 3 (in term of sampling 7.5 L). The average desorption efficiency of the method was 91.50%-95.38%, the precision was 1.10%-2.30%, the standard recovery was 83.83%-100.02%, sampling efficiency was 100.00%. Conclusion:This method is fast, sensitive and accurate, and can be used for the determination of n-butylamine in the air of workplace.

Objective To systematically retrieve relevant research on the application of exercise intervention dur-ing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for hospitalized children at home and abroad,to generalize and summa-rize the content of exercise intervention,the effect of intervention,and safety monitoring,with the purpose of provid-ing reference bases for the clinical application of exercise intervention in the future.Methods In accordance with the scoping review framework,we systematically retrieved databases including Web of Science,PubMed,Scopus,Cochrane Library,Embase,CINAHL,CNKI,VIP Database,Wanfang Data and China Biomedical Literature Database,with a retrieval timeframe from database establishment to May 19,2023.Based on the criteria for inclusion and ex-clusion of literature,we screened,summarized,extracted,and analyzed the literature.Results A total of 17 pieces of literature were included,including 5 randomized controlled trials,9 quasi-experimental studies,and 3 mixed-method studies.There were 4 categories of exercise including aerobic,anti-gravity,resistance,and stretching;most of the ex-ercises were of low to moderate intensity;the exercise interventions had a positive impact on muscle strength,quali-ty of life,cardiorespiratory function,body composition,and hematological indices;the safety monitoring consisted of red blood cell,hemoglobin,and platelet counts,temperature,joint and muscle pains,as well as falls,and syringe shedding.Conclusion The application of exercise intervention is safe and feasible,with a positive effect on chil-dren with hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in muscle strength,quality of life.Medical staff should combine with the clinical situation to formulate a reasonable and unified exercise program and to carry out scientific and standardized exercise management.

Objective:To analyze and determine the clinical and genetic characteristics of children with Helsmoortel-Van der Aa syndrome(HVDAS).Methods:Clinical data of 6 children with HVDAS treated at the First Hospital of Peking University from November 2018 to October 2022 and their family members were collected and analyzed retrospectively.Whole exome sequencing was performed on children and their family members to identify the genetic variants.Genotype and phenotype correlation was analyzed.Results:(1) Clinical analysis results: among the 6 children, there were 5 boys and 1 girl, and their age at diagnosis ranged from 11 months and 17 days to 12 years and 9 months.Six patients all presented with developmental delays/intellectual disabilities; (2) Genetic analysis results: 6 de novo ADNP variants were discovered in 6 children, including 1 initial codon deletion variant c. 1_2del, 2 nonsense variants c. 1175dup, p.(Tyr392*) and c. 2213C>G, p.(Ser738*), and 3 frameshift variants c. 2632dup, p.(Ser878Lysfs*3), c.1695_1696insATGGTATGTATGTATGTATG, p.(Val566Metfs*8) and c. 2120_2123del, p.(Asn707Serfs*8).All variants were classified as pathogenic variants by the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics.Except the c. 2213C>G, p.(Ser738*), the other 5 variants are all novel variants that have not been reported before. Conclusions:All of the 6 cases of HVDAS showed typical clinical manifestations, and expanded the phenotype spectrum of microcephaly and tall stature.Six de novo mutations were discovered, expanding the ADNP mutation spectrum and providing accurate genetic counseling and prenatal genetic diagnosis of the disease.

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of hypomethylating agents (HMA) in patients with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) .Methods:A total of 409 MDS patients from 45 hospitals in Zhejiang province who received at least four consecutive cycles of HMA monotherapy as initial therapy were enrolled to evaluate the efficacy and safety of HMA. Mann-Whitney U or Chi-square tests were used to compare the differences in the clinical data. Logistic regression and Cox regression were used to analyze the factors affecting efficacy and survival. Kaplan-Meier was used for survival analysis. Results:Patients received HMA treatment for a median of 6 cycles (range, 4-25 cycles) . The complete remission (CR) rate was 33.98% and the overall response rate (ORR) was 77.02%. Multivariate analysis revealed that complex karyotype ( P=0.02, OR=0.39, 95% CI 0.18-0.84) was an independent favorable factor for CR rate. TP53 mutation ( P=0.02, OR=0.22, 95% CI 0.06-0.77) was a predictive factor for a higher ORR. The median OS for the HMA-treated patients was 25.67 (95% CI 21.14-30.19) months. HMA response ( P=0.036, HR=0.47, 95% CI 0.23-0.95) was an independent favorable prognostic factor, whereas complex karyotype ( P=0.024, HR=2.14, 95% CI 1.10-4.15) , leukemia transformation ( P<0.001, HR=2.839, 95% CI 1.64-4.92) , and TP53 mutation ( P=0.012, HR=2.19, 95% CI 1.19-4.07) were independent adverse prognostic factors. There was no significant difference in efficacy and survival between the reduced and standard doses of HMA. The CR rate and ORR of MDS patients treated with decitabine and azacitidine were not significantly different. The median OS of patients treated with decitabine was longer compared with that of patients treated with azacitidine (29.53 months vs 20.17 months, P=0.007) . The incidence of bone marrow suppression and pneumonia in the decitabine group was higher compared with that in the azacitidine group. Conclusion:Continuous and regular use of appropriate doses of hypomethylating agents may benefit MDS patients to the greatest extent if it is tolerated.
