Objective:To elucidate the temporal characteristics of dysphagia following infratentorial stroke and its associa-tion with penetration/aspiration.Method:A total of 51 patients with infratentorial stroke and 26 healthy controls were recruited.All partici-pants underwent videofluoroscopic swallowing studies(VFSS),during which they swallowed 5ml of thin liquid in two separate trials.Swallowing parameters analyzed included oral transit time(OTT),velopharyngeal clo-sure duration(VCD),hyoid movement duration(HMD),laryngeal vestibule closure duration(LCD),upper esophageal sphincter(UES)opening duration(UOD),and stage transition duration(STD).The temporal coor-dination and sequential order of four swallowing actions and the intervals namely T1-T4 were also assessed.Inter-rater variability was evaluated using intraclass correlation coefficients(ICCs)for 20％of the results.Result:In the patient group,40.2％exhibited failed opening in UES,39.3％had penetration,and 20.5％ex-perienced aspiration.Compared to the control group,patients showed significantly prolonged OTT,VCD,and STD(P＜0.01),while UOD was significantly shorter(P＜0.01).The conformity rates of temporal sequences 3 and 4 were significantly lower in the patient group compared to controls(P＜0.001),and intervals Tl,T2,and T3 were significantly longer(P＜0.01).Significant negative correlations were found between VCD and PAS,UOD and PAS,and T2(P＜0.01).All measured parameters demonstrated good reliability.Conclusion:Patients with infratentorial stroke experience abnormal swallowing sequence,which is associated with the severity of penetration and aspiration.These findings may help in developing more targeted interven-tions to prevent aspiration.

Objective To evaluate the effect of sevoflurane on the electrophysiological stability of i-solated rat hearts subjected to hypothermic perfusion. Methods Clean-grade healthy adult male Sprague-Dawley rats, weighing 280-360 g, were heparinized and anesthetized with pentobarbital sodium. Their hearts were excised and perfused in a Langendorff apparatus with K-H solution saturated with 95％ O2-5％CO2 at 37℃. Twenty-four Langendorff-perfused hearts were divided into 4 groups ( n=6 each) using a ran-dom number table method: control group ( C group ) , sevoflurane group ( S group ) , 32 ℃ hypothermia group ( H group) and 32℃ hypothermia plus sevoflurane group ( HS group) . After 15 min of equilibration, the isolated hearts were continuously perfused for 30 min with K-H solution at 37℃, with K-H solution con-taining 2. 3％ sevoflurane at 37 ℃, with K-H solution at 32 ℃, and with K-H solution containing 2. 3％sevoflurane at 32℃ in C, S, H and HS groups, respectively. Heart rate and monophasic action potential in three layers of the left ventricular anterior wall were recorded at 15 min of equilibration ( T0 ) and 30 of con-tinuous perfusion ( T2 ) , the transmural dispersion of repolarization ( TDR) were calculated, and the occur-rence of arrhythmia was observed. Results Compared with C and S groups, the heart rate was significantly decreased and TDR was enlarged at T1 , and the incidence of arrhythmia was increased in H and HS groups ( P<0. 05) . Compared with H group, TDR was significantly reduced at T1 , and the incidence of arrhythmia was decreased in HS group ( P<0. 05) . Conclusion Sevoflurane can improve the electrophysiological in-stability of isolated rat hearts subjected to hypothermic perfusion, and thus decrease the development of ar-rhythmia.

Objective To investigate the relativity between c.553G/T polymorphism in exon 4 of Apolipoprotein A5 gene and hypertriglyceridemia (HTG) in Zunyi Han Nationality. Methods c.553G/T polymorphism of 103 HTG patients and 165 healthy individuals were tested by polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length (PCR-RFLP) assay. The distributions of genotypes and allele frequencies in HTG patients and healthy group were analyzed between Zunyi population and others. Results The genotype frequency of the Apo A5 gene c.553G/T showed statistical difference between patients group and normal groups (P < 0.05). The distribution of ApoA5 c.553T gene in HTG was higher than the normal group significantly (P < 0.05), and it had effect on triglyceridemia level independently (OR = 15.768, 95%CI: 5.916 ~ 42.025, P < 0.001). In the normal Han nationality groups, gene frequency of Zunyi was lower than that in Taiwan, Jiangsu and Hubei (P < 0.05), but similar to that in Hunan and Xinjiang (P > 0.05). In HTG groups, gene frequency of Zunyi was similar to that in Jiangsu (P>0.05), but higher than that in Xinjiang (P<0.05) and lower than that in Taiwan (P > 0.05). Conclusion There is relativity between Apo A5 gene c.553G/T polymorphisms and HTG in Zunyi Han nationality and the differences vary across different areas. It could be an independent risk factor for HTG.

【Objective】To investigate the influence of serum containing Hechan Tablets(HT)on the proliferation and apoptosis of human lung adenocarcinoma cell(LAC)line.【Methods】Serum containing HT was prepared.Human LAC line was cultured by the routine method firstly,and then was planted respectively in the culture medium including serum containing HT at the concentration of 30%(group A),in the culture medium including blank serum at the same concentration(group B)and in RPMI-1640 culture medium(group C).The growth of LAC was monitored under inverted phase contrast microscope,histological features of apoptotic LAC nucleus examined under fluorescence microscope and the apoptosis of LAC observed by flow cytometry with the methods of DNA content analysis and terminal-deoxynucleotidyl transferase mediated nick end labeling(TUNEL).【Results】After treatment with serum containing HT,the apoptotic changes of LAC were as follows: apoptotic rate was 5.6% in group A,lower than 0.9% in group B and 0.1% in group C;DNA content analysis showed that the number of LAC which was in phase S and phase G2-M was less in group A than that in groups B and C 72 hours after the culturing,so did the cell proliferation index;the results of TUNEL examination showed that the incidence of cell apoptosis was 12.3% in group A,5.7% in group B and 1.2% in group C 72 hours after the culturing.【Conclusion】Serum containing HT has an inhibitory effect on the proliferation of LAC,and its mechanism may be related to inhibiting DNA synthesis and division of LAC,restraining LAC at the phase G0 and G1 and promoting LAC apoptosis.
