Objective:To investigate the clinical characteristics of cervical adenocarcinoma and analyze the survival status and related prognostic factors.Methods:The data of 229 patients with cervical adenocarcinoma who were diagnosed pathologically in the General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University from January 2013 to October 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. Among them, 198 early stage patients were mainly treated with surgery, and 31 locally advanced stage patients were mainly treated with chemoradiotherapy. The overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) rates in the whole cohort of patients and different treatment subgroups were calculated. Kaplan‐Meier method and log‐rank test were used for survival analysis, and Cox proportional hazards model was used for univariate and multivariate survival analyses.Results:Among the 229 patients, there were 11 subtypes of pathological classifications, predominantly of the usual‐type. At the end of follow‐up, 57 patients (24.9%) relapsed. The 3‐ and 5‐year OS rates were 86.4% and 79.3%, respectively, and the 3‐ and 5‐year PFS rates were 81.6% and 73.6%, respectively. Multivariate analysis showed that International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) staging of stages Ⅲ‐Ⅳ was an independent prognostic factor for OS and PFS ( HR=2.033, 95% CI=1.456‐2.839, P<0.001; HR=1.701, 95% CI=1.251‐2.313, P=0.001). Lymph node metastasis was an independent risk factor for PFS ( HR=1.610,95% CI=1.021‐2.539, P=0.041). Subgroup analysis of 198 patients with surgical treatment: the 3‐ and 5‐year OS rates were 90.0% and 84.9%, and the 3‐ and 5‐year PFS rates were 82.7% and 76.7%, respectively. Multivariate analysis showed that lymph node metastasis and deep invasion depth were the main risk factors for OS ( HR=6.893, 95% CI=2.592‐18.327, P<0.001; HR=1.952, 95% CI=1.164‐3.272, P=0.011) and PFS ( HR=5.507, 95% CI=2.569‐11.805, P<0.001; HR=1.638, 95% CI=1.09‐2.461, P=0.018). Ovarian preservation was an independent risk factor for PFS ( HR=3.364, 95% CI=1.115‐10.151, P=0.031). Conclusions:The pathological types of cervical adenocarcinoma are complex and diverse. Local recurrence and distant metastasis are the main reasons for treatment failure. FIGO stage, lymph node metastasis and postoperative depth of invasion are the main prognostic factors of cervical adenocarcinoma.

Objective To analyze the differences and connections between the current grading and classification methods for nuclear medicine workplaces, and to provide technical guidance for environmental impact assessments and technical reviews. Methods By comparing the objects, purposes, and computational approaches between the two methods, this article illustrates the usage of both methods through specific examples and analyzes the relationship between them. Results The two methods differed in objects, purposes, and computational approaches. The A, B, and C grading scheme was primarily used to establish the level of administrative supervision for an entire nuclear medicine workplace. In contrast, the I, II, and III classification system specifies the hardware facilities and engineering protection requirements of internal places or rooms. Conclusion These two methods are complementary and collectively provide a complete framework for the assessment of nuclear medicine workplaces.

Digital technologies have become an integral part of complete denture restoration. With advancement in computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM), tools such as intraoral scanning, facial scanning, 3D printing, and numerical control machining are reshaping the workflow of complete denture restoration. Unlike conventional methods that rely heavily on clinical experience and manual techniques, digital technologies offer greater precision, predictability, and efficacy. They also streamline the process by reducing the number of patient visits and improving overall comfort. Despite these improvements, the clinical application of digital complete denture restoration still faces challenges that require further standardization. The major issues include appropriate case selection, establishing consistent digital workflows, and evaluating long-term outcomes. To address these challenges and provide clinical guidance for practitioners, this expert consensus outlines the principles, advantages, and limitations of digital complete denture technology. The aim of this review was to offer practical recommendations on indications, clinical procedures and precautions, evaluation metrics, and outcome assessment to support digital restoration of complete denture in clinical practice.

Recently,with the rapid growth of the global population and the exhaustion of resources,exploration activities in extreme environments such as the polar regions,the outer space,the deep sea,the deep underground and highlands are becoming increasingly more frequent.This in-depth exploration of the external environment and the consequent dramatic changes in lifestyles impact on sleep,a basic life activity of humans,in ways that cannot be overlooked.the basic life activity of human beings.Sleep,a basic life activity and the result of the evolution of organisms to adapt to their environment,is closely associated with sleep homeostasis and endogenous rhythms.However,external environmental changes and lifestyle shifts in extreme environments have had a significant impact on the patterns and the quality of sleep in humans.Furthermore,this impact can lead to many physiological and psychological problems,posing a great threat to human health.In this review,we delved into the specific effects of different extreme natural environments and enclosed environments on sleep,elaborating on how these environments alter the patterns and the quality of sleep in humans.In addition,we summarized the changes in human sleep under extreme environments to help gain a better understanding of the mechanisms by which these specific environments impact human sleep.It is expected that this review will provide a solid theoretical foundation for optimizing long-term survival strategies in extreme environments and help humans adapt to and overcome the challenges posed by extreme environments more effectively.

Objective:To explore the clinical value of aspirin combined with atorvastatin in the prevention of new onset atrial fibrillation after off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (OPCABG).Methods:208 patients with coronary artery bypass grafting in our hospital from June 2019 to June 2021 were selected as the research subjects and divided by a random number table method into groups. The control group (104 cases) was treated with aspirin before operation, and the observation group (104 cases) was treated with aspirin and atorvastatin before operation. ECG monitoring was carried out continuously for 7 days of patients in the two groups, and the occurrence and duration of AF were recorded. The clinical therapeutic efficacy, incidence and adverse reactions of AF, left atrial diameter and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) level were observed before and after treatment.Results:The incidence of AF in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05). There was no statistical significant difference in the starting time of AF between the two groups after operation ( P>0.05). The duration of AF in the observation group was better than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no statistical significant difference in left atrial diameter and hs-CRP level between the two groups ( P>0.05). After treatment, the left atrial diameter in the observation group returned to that before treatment, and there was no statistical significant difference in the same group ( P>0.05). The left atrial diameter in the control group was higher than that before treatment, and there was statistical significant difference in the same group ( P<0.05). The level of hs-CRP was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05). There were no adverse reactions in both groups. Conclusion:Aspirin combined with atorvastatin has a significant effect in preventing new onset AF after OPCABG. It can reduce the incidence of postoperative AF, shorten the duration of AF, effectively control the inner diameter of left atrium, reduce the degree of postoperative inflammatory reaction, and has no adverse effects. It is worthy of clinical application.

Objective To externally validate the accuracy of combined use of neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR),V20,and Dmean in predicting the incidence of grade Ⅲ or higher radiation-induced lung injury (RILI) in lung cancer patients.Methods A total of 166 lung cancer patients,who participated in the model establishment were selected into the internal validation group,and 85 lung cancer patients who received intensity-modulated radiotherapy in our department between June 2016 and June 2018 were assigned into the external validation group.The incidence rate of grade 3 or higher RILI was statistically compared between the internal and external validation groups.Multivariate logistic analysis was performed for NLR,V20 and Dmean The discrimination degree of the predictive model was evaluated by using ROC curve in combination with NLR,V20 and Dmean The calibration degree of the predictive model was assessed by Hosmer-Lemeshow test.Results The incidence rate of grade 3 or higher RILI in the internal and external validation groups was 23.8％ and 22.9％.Multivariate logistic analysis demonstrated that NLR,V20 and Dmean significantly differed in the internal validation group (P=0.032,0.006 and 0.005).However,only V20 significantly differed in the external validation group (P=0.038).The discrimination and calibration degree of RILI was almost consistent between the internal and external validation groups (both P＞0.05).The area under the curve (AUC) predicted by NLR,V20,Dmean and the combination of three indexes were 0.611,0.646,0.682 and 0.775 in the internal validation group,and 0.544,0.702,0.658 and 0.754 in the external validation group,respectively.The calibration degree in the internal validation group was P=2.797and 0.834,P=2.452 and 0.653 in the external validation group.Conclusion Combined application of NLR,V20 and Dmean can accurately predict the incidence of grade Ⅲ or higher RILI in lung can cancer patients,which has been validated by external dataset.

Objective Compared with chest CT,endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) can more accurately determine the upper and lower margins of esophageal cancer,and marking the upper and lower margins of the esophageal cancer with titanium clip contributes to the delineation of target area of esophageal cancer during radiotherapy.To compare the effects of esophageal X-ray,chest computed tomography (CT)scan and EUS-assisted placement of marker clip in the determination of the length of gross target volume (GTV),aiming to provide reference for the determination of GTV during esophageal cancer radiotherapy.Methods Thirty patients who were initially diagnosed with thoracic esophageal cancer by histological and cytological examinations and scheduled to receive radiotherapy were recruited in this investigation.All patients received esophageal X-ray,CT scan,and EUS-assisted placement of marker clip.The length of GTV was quantitatively measured and statistically compared among three different methods.Results The length of GTV was (6.1 ± 1.4) cm,(6.8± 1.9) cm and (6.3± 1.9) cm determined by esophageal X-ray,CT scan and EUS-assisted placement of marker clip,respectively.Compared with CT scan,the length of GTV determined by EUS-assisted placement of marker clip did not significantly differ (P=0.11).The length of GTV determined by esophageal X-ray was significantly shorter than that by CT scan (P =0.03).Among all patients,the length of GTV determined by EUS-assisted placement of marker clip was longer compared with that by chest CT scan in 22.2％ of patients.The length of GTV determined by EUS-assisted placement of marker clip was the same as that by chest CT scan in 11.1％ of patients.The length of GTV determined by EUS-assisted placement of marker clip was shorter compared with that by chest CT scan in 66.7％ of patients.Conclusions EUS-assisted placement of marker clip differs from esophageal X-ray and CT scan in determining the length of GTV,which acts as one of the effective methods in the determination of the length of GTV during esophageal cancer radiotherapy.

Objective:To discuss the diagnostic value of miR-26a/b and relationship of this microRNA with clinicopathological features in patients with gastric cancer. Methods:The expression of serum miR-26a/b was detected in 121 patients with gastric cancer and 116 healthy controls using real-time quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). The relationship of miR-26a/b and clinicopathological parameters of patients were analyzed. The receiver operating curve (ROC) was constructed to in vestigate the value of miR-26a/b in the diagnosis of gastric cancer. Results:The relative expression levels of serum miR-26a and miR-26b in patients with gastric cancer were lower than those in the control group (1.60±1.02 vs. 5.35±0.44;1.44±0.71 vs. 5.35±0.71;P<0.05). The relative expression level of miR-26a/b correlated with TNM stage, and the relative expression level of miR-26a also correlated with invasion depth and lymph node metastasis (P<0.05), but not with sex, age, tumor size, or histological type (P>0.05). The area under the ROC curve of miR-26a was 0.828 (95％CI:0.776～0.881), with sensitivity of 73.3％and specificity of 81.0％, while the area under the ROC curve of miR-26b was 0.853 (95％CI:0. 801～0.906), with sensitivity of 68.1％and specificity of 99.2％. Conclusion:The expression of miR-26a/b significantly reduced in patients with gastric cancer, and its expression level correlated with the clinical stage, invasion depth, and lymph node metastasis. MiR-26a/b has potential diagnostic value for gastric cancer.

Objective:To establish the quality standard for Naoxin Luotong pills. Methods:Astragali radix, bombyx batryticatus and scorpio were identified under a microscope. Peach kernel, astragali radix, paeoniae radix alba, rheum, paeonia suffruticosa and salvia miltiorrhiza were identified by TLC. The content of total ferulic acid was determined by HPLC with a Sapphire C18 column (250 mm × 4. 6 mm,5 μm). The mobile phase was acetonitrile-0. 1% phosphoric acid(12 ∶88)and the detection wavelength was 316 nm. The column temperature was 35℃ and the flow rate was 1. 0 ml·min-1 . Results:The microscopic characteristics of astragali radix, bombyx batryticatus and scorpio were obvious to be observed easily. The TLC spots of peach kernel, astragali radix, paeoniae radix al-ba, rheum, paeonia suffruticosa and salvia miltiorrhiza were clear and specific. Ferulic acid had a good linear relationship within the range of 5. 1-81. 6μg·ml-1(r=0. 999 9), and the average recovery was 103. 30% with RSD of 1. 96% (n= 9). Conclusion:The standard can be used for the quality control of Naoxin Luotong pills.
