Abstract To investigate the intervention effects of digital exercise on insufficient physical activity (PA) and sedentary behavior among college students, aiming to enhance PA levels and reduce sedentary behavior. The study systematically reviews the application characteristics of digital exercise intervention, the intervention effects of digital exercise intervention (training websites and applications, social media, wearable devices, emerging interactive technologies) on PA levels and sedentary behavior among college students.Through behavioral modification elements such as goal setting, self monitoring, and feedback support, the approach significantly enhances college students PA levels and improves sedentary behaviors, so as to provide evidence for the design and optimization of future intervention programs.

Objective: To analyse the influence path of family economic status on adolescent depressive symptoms, and to explore the chained mediation role of peer relationship and self satisfaction, as well as the moderating effect of the parent-child relationship, so as to provide a theoretical basis for the prevention and control of adolescent depressive symptoms. Methods: Data were obtained from the Database of Youth Health （DYH） in the National Population Health Science Data Center, and a total of 11 277 samples were included. Questionnaires were used to obtain information on family economic status, peer relationship, self satisfaction, parent-child relationship and depressive symptoms. Spearman correlation analysis was used to examine correlations among variables. Hierarchical linear regression analysis was used to analyze effects of family economic status and parent-child relationship on depressive symptom scores. The Process macro program was adopted to test the chained mediating effects of peer relationship and self satisfaction and the moderating effect of parent-child relationship. Results: The prevalence rate of depressive symptoms among adolescents was 24.2%. The prevalence rates of depressive symptoms significantly differed among adolescents with different family economic status and places of residence( χ 2=210.12, 4.18, both P ＜0.05). Adolescents with depressive symptoms had significantly lower scores on peer relationship, self satisfaction, and parent-child relationship compared to those without depressive symptoms ( t = 27.76 , 42.43, 31.12, all P ＜0.05). Family economic status were negatively correlated with adolescent depressive symptom scores ( B =-0.12, P <0.05).Parent-child relationship was negatively correlated with depressive symptom scores ( B = -0.02 , P < 0.05 ). After introducing the parent-child relationship, the negative effect of family economic conditions was reduced ( B = -0.08, P ＜ 0.01). Family economic conditions affected depressive symptoms through the chained mediating pathway involving peer relationship ( B = 2.07 ) and self satisfaction ( B =3.88)(both P <0.05). The parent-child relationship moderated this pathway: under conditions of high quality parent child relationship, the effect of family economic status on peer relationships was weaker ( B = 0.15); under low quality parent-child relationship, the positive effect of family economic status on peer relationships was enhanced ( B = 1.15 ) (both P ＜0.01). Conclusions Family economic status exert both direct and chain mediating effects on adolescent depression, and high quality parent-child relationship can play a protective moderation role. For economically disadvantaged families, it is critical to synergistically enhance parent-child relationship and social support in order to reduce depression risk among adolescents.

Functional dyspepsia (FD), characterized by persistent or recurrent dyspeptic symptoms without identifiable organic, systemic or metabolic causes, is an increasingly recognized global health issue. The objective of this guideline is to equip clinicians and nursing professionals with evidence-based strategies for the management and treatment of adult patients with FD using traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). The Guideline Development Group consulted existing TCM consensus documents on FD and convened a panel of 35 clinicians to generate initial clinical queries. To address these queries, a systematic literature search was conducted across PubMed, EMBASE, the Cochrane Library, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), VIP Database, China Biology Medicine (SinoMed) Database, Wanfang Database, Traditional Medicine Research Data Expanded (TMRDE), and the Traditional Chinese Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System (TCMLARS). The evidence from the literature was critically appraised using the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development, and Evaluation (GRADE) approach. The strength of the recommendations was ascertained through a consensus-building process involving TCM and allopathic medicine experts, methodologists, pharmacologists, nursing specialists, and health economists, leveraging their collective expertise and empirical knowledge. The guideline comprises a total of 43 evidence-informed recommendations that span a range of clinical aspects, including the pathogenesis according to TCM, diagnostic approaches, therapeutic interventions, efficacy assessments, and prognostic considerations. OBJECTIVE: To analyze the distribution characteristics of glucose-6-phosphate-dehydrogenase (G6PD) mutations and their enzyme activity in newborns patients with G6PD deficiency in Guilin region. METHODS: From July 2022 to July 2024, umbilical cord blood samples from 4 554 newborns in Guilin were analyzed for G6PD mutations using fluorescence PCR melting curve analysis. Enzyme activity was detected in 4 467 cases using the rate assay. RESULTS: Among 4 467 newborns who underwent G6PD activity testing, 162 newborns (3.63%) were identified as G6PD-deficient, including 142 males (6.04%) and 20 females (0.94%), the prevalence of G6PD deficiency was significantly higher in males than in females (P < 0.001). Genetic analysis of 4 554 newborns detected G6PD mutations in 410 cases (9%), including 171 males (7.13%) and 239 females (11.09%), with a significantly higher mutation detection rate in females than in males (P < 0.001). A total of nine single mutations and four compound heterozygous mutations were identified. The most common mutations were c.1388G>A (33.66%), c.1376G>T (23.66%) and c.95A>G (16.34%). Among newborns who underwent both enzyme activity and genetic mutation testing, males with G6PD mutations had significantly lower enzyme activity than that of females with G6PD mutations(P < 0.001). Specifically, among newborns carrying the mutations c.1388G>A, c.1376G>T, c.95A>G, c.1024C>T or c.871G>A, males consistently exhibited lower enzymatic activity than females with the same mutations (P < 0.001). Furthermore, in male G6PD-deficient newborns, the enzyme activity levels in those carrying c.1388G>A, c.1376G>T, c.95A>G, c.1024C>T, or c.871G>A were lower than those in both the control group and the c.519C>T group (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION This study provides a comprehensive profile of G6PD deficiency incidence and mutation spectrum in the Guilin region. By analyzing enzyme activity and genetic mutation results, this study provides insights into potential intervention strategies and personalized management approaches for the prevention and treatment of neonatal G6PD deficiency in the region.

Ferroptosis initiates membrane oxidative damage through lipid peroxidation and iron accumulation, and accumulates reactive oxygen species (ROS) during aplastic anemia (AA). Ferroptosis induces damage and apoptosis of hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells, mesenchymal stem cells, blood cells, and T lymphocytes through various pathways, inhibits bone marrow hematopoiesis, damages bone marrow microenvironment, exacerbates immune imbalance, leading to bone marrow failure and disease progression. Therefore, further exploring the ferroptosis mechanism in AA can help clarify the pathogenesis of disease and provide new research ideas and directions for the treatment of AA.

Objective To develop a foot pad for arch support after plantar skin grafting and evaluate its rehabilitation effect on scar tissue in the arch area of postoperative patients.Methods The foot pad for arch support after plantar skin grafting was fabricated from medical-grade silicone and comprised a pad body and an arch support component.The pad body featured shock-absorbing convex patterns on its surface,precision-cut grooves in the metatarsal region and an upwardly convex arch section;the arch support component consisted of an arch-supporting portion with heel reinforcement and a heel-supporting portion,both peripherally integrated with vibration-damping through-holes.Totally 82 burn patients undergoing grafting using plantar skin were selected and divided equally into a control group and an experimental group with the random number table method.In the control group,anti-scarring care such as applying silicone gel and pressure therapy by rehabilitation nurses was carried out immediately after the healing of the plantar skin removal site.In the experimental group,the foot pad was used for rehabilitation care besides the routine treatment in the control group.The two groups were compared in terms of scarring and adverse reactions at the plantar skin removal site.SPSS 25.0 software was used for statistical analysis.Results Within 1 week after healing,the number of patients in the experimental group who had subcutaneous bruising and rupture was less than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).At 3 months after healing,the experimental group behaved better than the control group in scarring,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The foot pad developed with simple structure and easy operation can be used for rehabilitation exercise of patients after plantar skinning.[Chinese Medical Equipment Journal,2025,46(3):115-117]

OBJECTIVE: To explore the optimal vertical traction weight, clinical efficacy, and safety of bidirectional cervical traction in the treatment of cervical kyphosis. METHODS: A total of 130 patients with neck pain and cervical kyphosis confirmed by cervical DR who visited the hospital from April 2023 to April 2024 were enrolled. They were divided into 4 groups according to the vertical traction weight accounting for 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% of their body weight, respectively. The 5% body weight traction group included 33 cases (13 males and 20 females) with an average age of (34.00±10.58) years old;the 10% body weight traction group included 35 cases (17 males and 18 females) with an average age of (32.23±8.39) years old;the 15% body weight traction group included 32 cases (14 males and 18 females) with an average age of (33.88±10.09) years old;the 20% body weight traction group included 30 cases (11 males and 19 females) with an average age of (36.20±9.13) years old. Each group received treatment for 2 weeks. The visual analogue scale (VAS) score, neck disability index (NDI), and C₂-C₇ Cobb angle on cervical lateral X-ray films before and after treatment were recorded to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the 4 groups. RESULTS: When the traction weight was 10% and 15% of body weight, the pain VAS and NDI were significantly improved, and the C₂-C₇ Cobb angle increased, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05), and no adverse reactions occurred. However, in the 5% body weight group, the above indicators showed no significant changes, with no statistically significant differences (P>0.05). In the 20% body weight group, some patients could not tolerate the treatment, and adverse reactions such as dizziness, nausea, and aggravated neck pain occurred. CONCLUSION The optimal vertical traction weight of bidirectional cervical traction for cervical kyphosis is 10%-15% of body weight, which can effectively improve neck pain and cervical function, increase the C₂-C₇ Cobb angle of the cervical spine, with high safety, and is worthy of promotion and application.

Ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) is a naturally occurring, low-toxicity, and hydrophilic bile acid (BA) in the human body that is converted by intestinal flora using primary BA. Solute carrier family 7 member 11 (SLC7A11) functions to uptake extracellular cystine in exchange for glutamate, and is highly expressed in a variety of human cancers. Retroperitoneal liposarcoma (RLPS) refers to liposarcoma originating from the retroperitoneal area. Lipidomics analysis revealed that UDCA was one of the most significantly downregulated metabolites in sera of RLPS patients compared with healthy subjects. The augmentation of UDCA concentration (≥25 μg/mL) demonstrated a suppressive effect on the proliferation of liposarcoma cells. [¹⁵N₂]-cystine and [¹³C₅]-glutamine isotope tracing revealed that UDCA impairs cystine uptake and glutathione (GSH) synthesis. Mechanistically, UDCA binds to the cystine transporter SLC7A11 to inhibit cystine uptake and impair GSH de novo synthesis, leading to reactive oxygen species (ROS) accumulation and mitochondrial oxidative damage. Furthermore, UDCA can promote the anti-cancer effects of ferroptosis inducers (Erastin, RSL3), the murine double minute 2 (MDM2) inhibitors (Nutlin 3a, RG7112), cyclin dependent kinase 4 (CDK4) inhibitor (Abemaciclib), and glutaminase inhibitor (CB839). Together, UDCA functions as a cystine exchange factor that binds to SLC7A11 for antitumor activity, and SLC7A11 is not only a new transporter for BA but also a clinically applicable target for UDCA. More importantly, in combination with other antitumor chemotherapy or physiotherapy treatments, UDCA may provide effective and promising treatment strategies for RLPS or other types of tumors in a ROS-dependent manner.

Objective To scan and accurately reconstruct mandible models printed via fused deposition modeling(FDM)that contain screw path information,using cone-beam CT(CBCT),to achieve the digital transfer of preoperative model screw paths.Methods CBCT scans were conducted on 12 FDM-printed mandibular models(Model1 group)intended for prebending reconstruction plates.Mim-ics software was employed to reconstruct scanned data into mandibular models(Model2 group)and extract digital screw path informa-tion.Model2 was then compared with original models(Model0 group)in three dimensions,evaluating reconstruction accuracy through root mean square(RMS).Reconstruction parameters were optimized to enable automatic matching of Model2 with Model0,facilitating precise digital transfer of screw paths.In clinical application,this method was utilized to produce digital short-segment drilling guides,assisting in the reduction surgery of three mandibular fracture patients.Results Model2 demonstrated automatic matching with Model0,exhibiting detailed surface characteristics and clear screw path position and orientation information.The RMS was measured at(0.32±0.09)mm.Utilization of digital segmented screw path transfer guides assisted in the satisfactory reduction surgery of three pa-tients with comminuted mandibular fractures.Conclusion CBCT scanning of FDM-printed preoperative models accurately captures screw path position and orientation information,enabling digital transfer of screw paths and providing a novel method for precise design of digital surgical guides.
