The therapeutic effects of Yueju Pills on depression and cardiovascular diseases have been widely recognized. Previous studies have shown that the drug can significantly improve depressive-like behaviors induced by chronic unpredictable mild stress(CUMS) combined with atherosclerosis(AS). Given the complex pathogenesis of psychocardiac diseases, this study integrated metabolomics and network pharmacology to systematically elucidate the mechanism of Yueju Pills in alleviating depressive symptoms in psychocardiac diseases. The results demonstrate that, after Yueju Pill intervention, the levels of 9 abnormal metabolites in the hippocampus restore to normal ranges, primarily involving key pathways or signaling pathways, including the cyclic adenosine monophosphate(cAMP), mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR), glycine/serine/threonine metabolism, and aminoacyl-tRNA biosynthesis. In a high-fat diet-induced CUMS ApoE~(-/-) mouse model, Yueju Pills significantly increases adenosine monophosphate(AMP) levels and decreases L-alanine and D-glyceric acid levels in the hippocampus. In conclusion, Yueju Pills exert antidepressant effects by regulating multiple metabolic axes, including glycine/serine/threonine metabolism and the cAMP, mTOR signaling pathways. Network pharmacology predictions reveal that the treatment of CUMS combined with AS by its core active components may be realized through modulating pathways concerning neuroinflammation and synaptic plasticity, including serine/threonine-protein kinase 1(AKT1), mitogen-activated protein kinase 1(MAPK1), and prostaglandin-endoperoxide synthase 2(PTGS2). This study provides a theoretical reference for the clinical application of Yueju Pills in alleviating the depressive symptoms of psychocardiac diseases.

OBJECTIVE:
To explore the clinical characteristics, diagnosis, and treatment methods of one patient with idiopathic multicentric Castleman disease (iMCD), in order to strengthen the understanding of this rare disease.
METHODS:
The clinical manifestations, diagnosis and treatment process, and prognosis of one patient with iMCD admitted to our hospital were retrospectively analyzed.
RESULTS:
The patient was a 45-year-old female with swollen bilateral orbit, edema of lower limbs, multiple serosal cavity effusion, thrombocytopenia, renal insufficiency, and multiple lymph node enlargement. Lymph node biopsy suggested mixed type of Castleman disease. Combined with pathology, imaging and laboratory examination, the patient was finally diagnosed with mixed type of iMCD. After six cycles of R-COP regimen chemotherapy, the patient achieved complete remission.
CONCLUSIONS
Castleman disease with renal and orbit involvement is rare in clinic and easy to be misdiagnosed. It should be distinguished from lymphoma. The patient has been treated with R-COP regimen, and obtained good short-term efficacy.

Background:
Primary cutaneous CD30+ lymphoproliferative disorders (pcCD30-LPDs) are a diseases with various clinical and prognostic characteristics.
Objective:
Increasing our knowledge of the clinical characteristics of pcCD30-LPDs and identifying potential prognostic variables in an Asian population.
Methods:
Clinicopathological features and survival data of pcCD30-LPD cases obtained from 22 hospitals in South Korea were examined.
Results:
A total of 413 cases of pcCD30-LPDs (lymphomatoid papulosis [LYP], n=237; primary cutaneous anaplastic large cell lymphoma [C-ALCL], n=176) were included. Ninety percent of LYP patients and roughly 50% of C-ALCL patients presented with multiple skin lesions. Both LYP and C-ALCL affected the lower limbs most frequently. Multiplicity and advanced T stage of LYP lesions were associated with a chronic course longer than 6 months. Clinical morphology with patch lesions and elevated serum lactate dehydrogenase were significantly associated with LPDs during follow-up in LYP patients. Extracutaneous involvement of C-ALCL occurred in 13.2% of patients. Lesions larger than 5 cm and increased serum lactate dehydrogenase were associated with a poor prognosis in C-ALCL. The survival of patients with C-ALCL was unaffected by the anatomical locations of skin lesions or other pathological factors.
Conclusion
The multiplicity or size of skin lesions was associated with a chronic course of LYP and survival among patients with C-ALCL.

Organophosphorus nerve agents are the most threatening chemical warfare agents and terrorist agents. The number of nerve agents and their related chemicals involved in the verification of Chemical Weapon Convention(CWC)exceeds ten million, with the majority being isomers.Accurate structural identification of these chemicals has always been one of the challenges in CWC related verification analysis. In this work,a total of 17 kinds of alkyl phosphonate isomers and structural analogs from 5 groups were designed and synthesized, and then analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS)and gas chromatography-infrared spectroscopy(GC-FTIR).The spectra of isomers or structural analogs obtained from two techniques as well as the structural information provided therein were compared and analyzed. The results showed that for isomers or structural analogs with similar MS spectra,FTIR spectra could provided more structural fingerprint information of compounds and had advantages in confirming structures.Combined with the excellent separation ability of GC,GC-FTIR can be used to assist GC-MS in the structural confirmation of alkyl phosphates, achieving rapid and accurate identification of isomers or structural analogues.

As global average carbon dioxide concentrations steadily rise, the frequency, intensity, and duration of cyanobacterial blooms in aquatic ecosystems are increasing annually. This phenomenon presents a significant threat to the overall health of global ecosystems and has garnered worldwide attention. In this study,an online detection of small-molecule dissolved gas concentrations in lake using a home-made membrane inlet mass spectrometer was conducted.Comparative water samples analyses demonstrated that the developed mass spectrometer instrument effectively discriminated between different water samples based on its dissolved gas detection capabilities.Online survey revealed that the concentrations of dissolved O2 and dissolved CO2 were 0.24 mmol/L and 1.31 μmol/L,respectively,in areas without cyanobacterial coverage. In areas with cyanobacterial coverage, their concentrations were 0.21 mmol/L and 0.92 μmol/L,respectively.In areas where cyanobacteria were densely collected, the dissolved CO2 content rose rapidly, while the dissolved O2 content decreased rapidly. This result revealed that large-scale cyanobacterial blooms exacerbated CO2 emissions, and during such blooms, lakes acted as sources of CO2,emitting substantial amounts into the atmosphere, thereby contributing to adverse impacts on global climate change.Furthermore, extensive cyanobacterial blooms led to a rapid decrease in dissolved O2 levels, resulting in O2 depletion and the mortality of fish and benthic invertebrates. The research highlighted the significance of the ratio of content of O2 and CO2 as a crucial indicator for cyanobacterial monitoring, with a smaller ratio indicating higher cyanobacterial content. Moreover, changes in turbidity and variations in the ratio of O2 and CO2 exhibited strong consistency.Large-scale algal blooms increased water turbidity, which posed a threat to the survival of aquatic organisms. This study provided a technological means for online detection of dissolved gases in water, offering essential references for water quality assessment, ecological evaluation, and particularly, for early prevention,mid-term management, and post-treatment effectiveness assessment of cyanobacterial blooms.
