BackgroundIn China， the structure shift from just one-child family to both one-child and more-than-one-child families is happening. Exploring how the sibling relationships effect between adolescent personality impulsivity and aggressivity is of great significance for promoting adolescent mental health as well as maintaining social harmony and stability. ObjectiveTo investigate the effecting path of sibling relationships between personality impulsivity and aggressivity in adolescents， so as to provide references for the prevention of violent and aggressive behavior in adolescents. MethodsFrom February to April， 2023， a total of 1 200 students with sibling relationships from 12 primary and secondary schools in a county of Sichuan province were included by random sampling. Barratt Impulsivity Scale （BIS-11）， Chinese Version of Buss & Perry Aggression Questionnaire （AQ-CV）， and Sibling Relationship Questionnaire （SRQ） were used for cross-sectional investigation. Pearson Correlation Analysis was used to analyze the correlation between the scores of these scales. Bootstrap method was used to test the effecting path of sibling relationships between personality impulsivity and aggressivity. ResultsThe total score of BIS-11 was positively correlated with that of AQ-CV as well as the scores of conflict and competition dimensions in SRQ （r=0.485、0.276、0.280，P<0.01）， while negatively correlated with the score of warmth/intimacy dimension in SRQ （r=-0.383， P<0.01）. The total score of AQ-CV was positively correlated with the scores of conflict and competition dimensions in SRQ （r=0.387， 0.340， P<0.01）， while negatively correlated with the score of warmth/intimacy dimension in SRQ （r=-0.304， P<0.01）. Within SRQ， negative correlations could be observed between the score of warmth/intimacy and scores of conflict and competition （r=-0.307， -0.375， P<0.01）， whereas positive correlation could be observed between the score of conflict and that of competition （r=0.267， P<0.01）. The total effect of personality impulsivity level on aggressivity level in adolescent was 0.480 （P<0.01）. Sibling relationships played a mediating role between personality impulsivity and aggressivity in adolescents. Meanwhile， the indirect effect values of warmth/intimacy， conflict and competition were 0.054， 0.075 and 0.062， with the effect values accounting for 11.21%， 15.70% and 12.93%， respectively. ConclusionThe personality impulsivity of adolescents can directly affect their aggressivity， and sibling relationships may act as an important channel connecting personality impulsivity and aggressivity. ［Funded by 2023 Project of the Psychology and Behavioral Science Research Center of the Deyang Federation of Social Sciences （number， XLYXW2023305）］

Objective:To explore the application of biomechanics principle in the repair of double eyelid disappearance after blepharoplasty.Methods:A retrospective analysis was performed on 47 patients (46 females and 1 male) with double eyelid disappearance after blepharoplasty in the Department of Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery, Friendship Plastic Surgical Hospital from July 2018 to December 2022. The patients aged from 19-42 (28±8) years. The repair surgery was performed by increasing the mechanical factors that promoted the double eyelid formation or weakening the mechanical factors that inhibited the double eyelid formation. The overall satisfaction with ocular appearance, and psychological well-being and social function were evaluated with the Face-Q qustionnaires before or after operation.Results:By following-up for 3-24 months, the morphology of upper eyelids in all 47 patients were remarkably improved. 2 patients complained about asymmetry and 1 patient had multiple creases, for whom satisfactory results achieved after re-operation. The remaining patients presented smooth natural double eyelid line, and concave groove deformity when eyes closed were not noticed. The operative effects were satisfactory. After surgery, the scores for ocular satisfaction with facial appearance, psychological well-being and social function were (69.5±10.3), (75.5±13.6) and (68.3±11.3) scores, which were significantly increased than those before operation [(38.7±9.3), (54.8±10.5) and (52.3±8.7) scores], respectively (all P<0.05). Conclusion:More effective and reliable operation results can be obtained in the repair strategies of double eyelid disappearance after blepharoplasty by utilizing the biomechanical mechanism.

BACKGROUND: The therapeutic potential of exosomes from human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (HUMSCsExo) for delivering specific circular RNAs (circRNAs) in treating premature ovarian failure (POF) is not well understood.This study aimed to explore the efficacy of HUMSCs-Exo in delivering hsa_circ_0002021 for POF treatment, focusing on its effects on granulosa cell (GC) senescence and ovarian function. METHODS: Bioinformatic analysis was conducted on circRNA profiles using the GSE97193 dataset from GEO, targeting granulosa cells from varied age groups. To simulate granulosa cell senescence, KGN cells were treated with cyclophosphamide (CTX). HUMSCs were transfected with pcDNA 3.1 vectors to overexpress hsa_circ_0002021, and the HUMSCsExo secreted were isolated. These exosomes were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and Western blotting to confirm exosomal markers CD9 and CD63. Co-culture of these exosomes with CTX-treated KGN cells was performed to assess b-galactosidase activity, oxidative stress markers, ROS levels, and apoptosis via flow cytometry.Interaction between hsa_circ_0002021, microRNA-125a-5p (miR-125a-5p), and cyclin-dependent kinase 6 (CDK6) was investigated using dual-luciferase assays and RNA immunoprecipitation (RIP). A POF mouse model was induced with CTX, treated with HUMSCs-Exo, and analyzed histologically and via immunofluorescence staining. Gene expression was quantified using RT-qPCR and Western blot. RESULTS: hsa_circ_0002021 was under expressed in both in vivo and in vitro POF models and was effectively delivered by HUMSCs-Exo to KGN cells, showing a capability to reduce GC senescence. Overexpression of hsa_circ_0002021 in HUMSCs-Exo significantly enhanced these anti-senescence effects. This circRNA acts as a competitive adsorbent of miR-125a-5p, regulating CDK6 expression, which is crucial in modulating cell cycle and apoptosis. Enhanced expression of hsa_circ_0002021 in HUMSCs-Exo ameliorated GC senescence in vitro and improved ovarian function in POF models by modulating oxidative stress and cellular senescence markers. CONCLUSION This study confirms that hsa_circ_0002021, when delivered through HUMSCs-Exo, can significantly mitigate GC senescence and restore ovarian function in POF models. These findings provide new insights into the molecular mechanisms of POF and highlight the therapeutic potential of circRNA-enriched exosomes in treating ovarian aging and dysfunction.

Objective To develop an evidence-based,localized practice protocol for the interhospital transfer of critically ill children.Methods Through a comprehensive evidence summary and semi-structured interviews,a preliminary inter-hospital transfer practice protocol for critically ill children was formulated.A panel of 31 experts from 12 hospitals in China participated in 2 rounds of expert correspondence between May and July 2022,facilitating meticulous revision of the protocol entries.Results The response rate for both rounds of questionnaires was 100%,and the expert authority coefficients ranged from 0.926 to 0.931.In the second round of consultation,the coefficient of variation for the importance score of each entry ranged from 0.036 to 0.226,and the Kendall's W was determined to be 0.201(P＜0.001).Additionally,the coefficient of variation for the feasibility score of each entry fell within the range of 0.070 to 0.314,with Kendall's W of 0.124(P＜0.001).Ultimately,the final interhospital transfer protocol for critically ill children comprised 8 level Ⅰ entries,16 level Ⅱ entries,and 75 level Ⅲ entries.Conclusion The interhospital transfer protocol constructed in this study is grounded in scientific evidence and exhibits practical feasibility.It serves as a valuable reference for organizing and implementing interhospital transfers of critically ill children.

ObjectiveTo analyze the monitoring data of schistosomiasis from 2004 to 2021 in Suzhou New District， Jiangsu Province， and to provide evidence for improving schistosomiasis elimination strategies. MethodsFollowing the Opinions on Prevention and Control of Schistosomiasis， Parasitic Diseases and Endemic Diseases in Suzhou and the Technical Plan for Prevention and Control of Schistosomiasis， Parasitic Diseases and Endemic Diseases in Suzhou， the monitoring of schistosomiasis in the population and snail habitats from 2004 to 2021 was conducted. The Mann-Kendall method and Joinpoint regression method were employed to analyze the trend of epidemic indicators （such as seropositive rate， prevalence of snail frames， etc.）. Time series analysis （exponential smoothing model） was conducted to predict snail occurrence. ResultsFrom 2004 to 2021， a total of 73 680 people were serologically tested for schistosomiasis， with a positive rate of 0.084%. The seropositivity rate showed statistically significant differences between different years （χ²=70.73， P<0.05）， but there was no significant trend over time. In addition， 3 053 fecal tests were conducted and no positive result was found. The snail habitats covered an area of 70.11 hm² and showed a decreasing trend （Z=-1.97， P<0.05）. A total of 30 093 frames were surveyed， of which 19.038% contained snails. The difference in the prevalence of snail frames between different years was statistically significant （χ²=7 203.09， P<0.05）， with a decreasing trend in the prevalence of snail frames （Z=-2.05， P<0.05）. A total of 26 296 live snails were seized and density of live snails was 0.874 snails per frame， showing a decreasing trend in the density of live snails （Z=-2.35， P<0.05）. A total of 12 391 snails were dissected and no infected snail was found. The areas treated with molluscicides remained stable at 264.60 hm². An area of 27.77 hm² achieved the goal of snail eradication through environmental modification， with a decreasing trend （Z=-2.44， P<0.05）. It is estimated that the prevalence of snail frames and snail density will remain relatively stable from 2022 to 2026， but the snail habitat area will fluctuate significantly， showing an increasing trend. ConclusionNo indigenous cases of schistosomiasis and no infected snails are reported， indicating the successful consolidation of schistosomiasis prevention and control measures. However， the snail habitat area fluctuates greatly with an increasing trend， suggesting the need for long-term Oncomelania snail monitoring in local areas.

Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of W-shaped genioplasty in the correction of broad and short chin deformity.Methods:Thirty-eight patients (5 males, 33 females, aged 20 to 41 years, mean 27.3 years) complained with broad and short chin were admitted to the Affiliated Friendship Plastic Surgery Hospitalof Nanjing Medical University from January 2019 to December 2021. CBCT scan and three-dimensional reconstruction were performed to design osteotomy line and determine the distance of chin lengthening, narrowing and advancing or retrocession preoperatively. Under general anesthesia, the W-shaped osteotomy was performed using an intraoral incision, and the angle between the bilateral free bone fragments, the distance of downward and forward movement were adjusted to change the curvature, width, length and prominence of the lower edge of the chin according to the preoperative designs. The results were evaluated by clinical appearances and image analyses at a follow-up of 3-24 months.Results:The amount of vertical lengthening of the chin in 38 cases were 2 mm to 5 mm, with an average of 3.02 mm. The horizontal narrowing width distances were 3-7 mm, with an average of 5.6 mm. The patients were followed up for 3-24 months, with an average of 10.6 months. There were no complications such as hematoma, wound dehiscence, accidental fracture, surgical area infection and permanent neurosensory disorder. 38 patients had transient sensory loss in the lower lip region of varying degrees, but all recovered spontaneously during routine follow-up period. All patients were satisfied with the improvement of facial contour.Conclusions:W-shaped geinoplasty preserves the central bone of the chin and the attachment of genioglossus muscle, which does not affect the normal anatomy and physiological function of the oral cavity. After osteotomy, the bone is removed and the bilateral bone fragments move flexibly. It can effectively change the radian, width, length and protrusion of the lower edge of the chin in three dimensions, so as to correct the wide and short deformity of the chin.

Objective : To investigate the effect of Brigatinib on radiation sensitivity of colorectal cancer LOVO cells by treating colorectal cancer LOVO cells with a combination of radiation and brigatinib. Methods : Western blot and immunofluorescence detection were used to detect the amount of epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR) , p ⁃ EGFR expression in colorectal cancer cells after treatment with different irradiation doses. The expression levels of EGFR , p ⁃EGFR , γ⁃H2AX , cleaved caspase⁃3 , cleaved caspase⁃7 and cleaved caspase⁃9 in LOVO cells were determined by Western blot , the levels of Non⁃homologous End Joining⁃NHEJ were detected by DR⁃GFP plasmid system , cell viability was detected by CCK⁃8 and apoptosis was detected by annexinv FITC / PI double labeling. Results : Radiation treatment significantly increased EGFR phosphorylation in LOVO cells , which was inhibited in a dose⁃dependent manner after treatment with Brigatinib. Non⁃homologous End Joining repair was inhibited following Brigatinib treatment , and a significant increase in apoptosis was observed in LOVO cells treated with combined Brigatinib and radiation. Conclusion Brigatinib inhibited non homologous end joining repair and promoted apoptosis in LOVO cells by inhibiting EGFR phosphorylation , which eventually increased the radiation sensitivity of LOVO cells.

Objective:To investigate the effect of eyebrow arch augmentation with personalized polyether ether ketone (PEEK) implant assisted by endoscope.Methods:From January 2019 to August 2021, 9 patients with low and flat eyebrow arch requiring eyebrow arch augmentation were treated in the plastic surgery department of the Friendship Plastic Surgery Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing Medical University. The cranial and maxillofacial CT scanning data were obtained before operation, the eyebrow arch elevation range and height were designed according to the patient's requirements, and personalized peek implants were manufactured. During the operation, a small temporal hairline incision was used to accurately separate the implantation cavity of individualized peek implants under the periosteum of the eyebrow arch implantation area with the aid of endoscope. Personalized PEEK implants were implanted under endoscope to make them fully fit with the eyebrow arch bone and fixed with titanium nails. Photos were taken and analyzed before and after operation.Results:All patients were followed up for 3 months to 2 years. Their facial expressions were normal, and there were no motor nerve injury, rejection and iatrogenic infection. The patients were satisfied with the postoperative effect. Compared with before operation, the low level of orbital bone in eyebrow area was improved, and the facial contour was three-dimensional and harmonious.Conclusions:The eyebrow arch augmentation with individualized peek implant assisted by endoscope is safe and effective. It can greatly reshape the upper contour of the face, deepen the upper eyelid fossa and improve the convex eye phenomenon, so as to achieve the cosmetic effect of enhancing the three-dimensional sense of the eyebrow orbital area, which is worthy of clinical application.

Objective:To evaluate the clinical effects of the dissection of the implant pockets with ultrasonic scalpel or traditional electroscalpel through the axillary approach under endoscopic assistant.Methods:A total of 125 female patients with an average of 32.5 years, ranged from 21 to 44 years, underwent endoscopic-assisted transaxillary breast augmentation in the Department of Plastic Surgery, the Affiliated Friendship Plastic Surgery Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, from January 2019 to December 2020, were analyzed retrospectively. The implant pockets were dissected with ultrasonic scalpel (ultrasonic scalpel group) in 64 patients or with traditional electroscalpel (electroscalpel group) in 61 patients. The operation time, operation speed, postoperative drainage, drainage tube removal time and hospital stay of the two groups were compared and analyzed statistically.Results:Compared with the electroscalpel group, the average operation time of the ultrasonic scalpel group 75(71-90) min was significantly shorter than that of the electroscalpel group 105(80-135) min ( t=4.10, P<0.001), the operation speed (3.27±0.44 ml/min) was faster than that of the electroscalpel group (2.52±0.72 ml/min) ( t=4.71, P<0.001), the postoperative drainage 130.5(98.8-193.3) ml was significantly less than that of the electroscalpel group 281.75(145.5-328.3) ml ( t=2.21, P<0.05), and the drainage tube removal time 3 (3-4) d and hospital stay 3 (3-4) d were remarkablely shorter than that of the electroscalpel group 4 (3-4) d, 5 (4-6) d ( t=3.58; t=4.06, P<0.05). Conclusions:The application of ultrasonic scalpel in endoscopic-assisted transaxillary breast augmentation is safe and reliable. In addtion to improving the surgical efficiency, ultrasonic scalpel can reduce blood loss, shorten the time of hospital stay and reduce complications, which is worthy of further promotion in clinical application.

Objective:Utilizing multi-criterion optimization (MCO) technology to improve plan design quality based on knowledge-based planning (KBP) model.Methods:Fifty-five patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) who had completed radiotherapy were selected, and fixed-field intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) technology was used in each case. Among them, 40 cases were randomly selected as training set 1. Then, IMRT plans in training set 1 were preprocessed by MCO technology to construct a new training set 2. With the initial training set 1 and the processed training set 2 as training samples, the traditional KBP model and the MCO-KBP model refined by MCO technology were trained, respectively. Among the remaining 15 cases, 5 cases were randomly selected as the validation set, and the remaining 10 cases were used as the test set. After verification, the test set was used to statistically analyze the plan quality of the initial manual plan and the automatic plan generated by the traditional KBP model and the MCO-KBP model.Results:The target dose (D 95%) of plans generated by the traditional KBP model and the MCO-KBP model met the clinical requirements. Conformity index (CI) and homogeneity index (HI) were almost the same ( P>0.05), and the doses of organ at risk (OAR) of the automatic plans generated by the MCO-KBP model were lower than those of the traditional KBP model. For example, compared with the traditional KBP model, the average D max of the brainstem in the automatic plans generated by the MCO-KBP model was lower by 2.13 Gy, the average D mean of the left parotid gland was lower by 1.39 Gy, the average D mean of the right parotid gland was lower by 1.59 Gy, and the average D max of the left optic nerve was lower by 1.42 Gy, the average D max of the right optic nerve was lower by 1.16 Gy, and the average D max of the pituitary gland was lower by 1.88 Gy. All of the above-mentioned dosimetry indexes were statistically significant. Conclusion:Compared with the traditional KBP model, the IMRT plans designed by the refined MCO-KBP model have obvious advantages in the protection of OAR, which proves the feasibility of utilizing MCO technology to improve the plan design quality of the KBP model.
