ObjectiveTo investigate the efficacy of ovarian tissue cryopreservation and autologous transplantation in preserving fertility and ovarian endocrine function in patients with cervical cancer. MethodsA 26-year-old patient with stage ⅡA1 cervical cancer underwent ovarian tissue harvesting and cryopreservation during cancer surgery. Following complete remission of the cancer， autologous ovarian tissue transplantation was performed. Follow-up monitoring included assessment of menopausal symptoms， hormone levels， and follicular development. ResultsSix months after transplantation， follicle-stimulating hormone levels decreased to 6.60 U/L， and estradiol levels increased from ＜10.00 ng/L to 89.00 ng/L. At 10 months after transplantation， ultrasound monitoring confirmed follicular development and physiological ovulation in the transplanted ovarian tissue. By 15 months after transplantation， follicle-stimulating hormone levels remained stable at 7.24 U/L， and estradiol levels further increased to 368.00 ng/L. Over 2 years after transplantation， the patient successfully gave birth to a healthy baby through assisted reproductive technology. ConclusionThe restoration of endocrine and ovulation functions in the transplanted cryopreserved ovarian tissue， followed by successful pregnancy， demonstrates the clinical success of ovarian tissue transplantation.

Ribosome is an intracellular ribonucleoprotein particle that serves as the site of protein biosynthesis. Ribosomal dysfunction caused by mutations in genes encoding ribosomal proteins (RPs) and ribosome biogenesis factors (RBFs) can lead to a spectrum of diseases, collectively known as ribosomopathy. Phase separation is a thermodynamic process that produces multiple phases from a homogeneous mixture. The formation of membraneless organelles and intracellular structures, including ribosomes and nucleoli, cannot occur without the involvement of phase separation. Here, ribosome structure, biogenesis, and their relationship with ribosomopathy are systematically reviewed. The tissue specificity of ribosomopathy and the role of phase separation in ribosomopathy are particularly discussed, which may offer some clues for understanding the mechanisms of ribosomopathy. Then, some new ideas for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of ribosomopathy are provided.

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Chinese medicine Jianpi Antai formula in infertile women undergoing in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer(IVF-ET).Methods:A total of 300 infertile women who underwent 2 frozen embryo transfer procedures at the Reproductive Medicine Center,Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital were included in the study.The participants were randomly divided into study group and control group.The study group received routine medication plus the Jianpi Antai formula during the period of embryo transfer,while the control group received routine medication only.The general condition,embryo implantation rate,clinical pregnancy rate,live birth rate,and the blood routine and liver and kidney function were evaluated and compared between two groups.Results:There were 277 cases who completed the study,including 134 in the study group and 143 in the control group.The embryo implantation rate(68.7%vs.55.9%),the clinical pregnancy rate(56.7%vs.44.8%)and the live birth rate(50.7%vs.37.8%)in the study group were all higher than those in the control group(all P＜0.05).Subgroup analysis revealed that in patients of advanced age(≥35 years)and those with decreased ovarian reserve function(anti-Müllerian hormone＜1.68 ng/mL),the embryo implantation rate,clinical pregnancy rate,and live birth rate in the study group were all higher than those in the control group(all P＜0.05).During the follow-up period,there were no abnormalities in the basic vital signs of both groups,and no adverse events were reported.Conclusion:Jianpi Antai formula can safely improve the embryo implantation rate in infertile women undergoing IVF-ET,reduce the embryo miscarriage rate,increase the live birth rate as well as improve the clinical outcomes.

【Objective】 To investigate the role of dopamine D3 receptor deficiency in depression-like behavior in perimenopausal depression and to explore the role of dopamine D3 receptor in the pathogenesis of perimenopausal depression. 【Methods】 Based on the perimenopausal depression animal model， RT-PCR was used to study the changes of D3 receptor mRNA in the nucleus accumbens （NAc） in mice. Furthermore， dopamine D3 receptor knockout （D3RKO） mice and wild type （WT） mice of the same genetic background were used， respectively. Forced swim test （FST） and tail suspension test （TST） were used to assess depressive-like behavior in mice. 【Results】 D3 receptor mRNA in the NAc decreased significantly in perimenopause （P<0.05）. Chronic immobilization stress （CIS） induced the decrease of D3 receptor mRNA in young mice （P<0.05）. CIS induced a further decrease of D3 receptor mRNA in perimenopausal mice （P<0.05）. The immobility in the FST was significantly prolonged in perimenopausal D3RKO mice， compared with perimenopausal WT mice （P<0.05）. The immobility in both FST and TST was significantly prolonged in perimenopausal D3RKO mice， compared with young D3RKO mice （P<0.05）. No significant difference was found between the groups of the WT mice （P>0.05）. 【Conclusion】 Dopamine D3 receptor in the NAc is significantly decreased during perimenopause. Obvious decrease or deficiency of dopamine D3 receptors may be involved in the regulation of perimenopausal depression.

【Objective】 To explore the effect of Lactobacillus rhamnosus on postpartum depression （PPD） and its potential mechanism. 【Methods】 The mouse model of PPD was established by using dexamethasone sodium phosphate during pregnancy. At the end of adaptive feeding， 50 pregnant female mice were randomly divided into low-dose group （group Ⅰ）， high-dose group （Group Ⅱ）， positive control group （Group Ⅲ）， model control group （Group IV）， and blank control group （Group Ⅴ）. The mice in Group Ⅰ and Group II were given Lactobacillus rhamnosus 1×10⁷ and1×10⁸CFU（kg·d）. The mice in Group Ⅲ were given 1.8 mg /（kg·d） paroxetine， and the mice in Groups IV and V were given the same amount of normal saline for 4 weeks. The 24-hour food consumption test， open field test and sugar water consumption test were used to detect the behavior of mice in each group. The concentrations of 5-hydroxytryptamine （5-HT）， norepinephrine （NE）， and dopamine （DA） were determined by RP-HPLC. The changes in Enterococcus faecalis， Bifidobacterium， Lactobacillus and Escherichia coli in the cecum of mice were detected by Real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR （RT-qPCR）. 【Results】 Before modeling， there were no significant differences in food intake， weight change rate， open field moving distance and speed， and percentage of sugar consumption among the groups （P>0.05）. After modeling， there was no significant difference in food intake or weight change rate among the five groups， but the open field moving distance， moving speed and percentage of sugar preference were significantly reduced （P<0.05）. After intervention with Lactobacillus rhamnosus， compared with Group Ⅳ， the depression-like behavior in Group Ⅰ and Group Ⅱ mice was improved； the weight change rate， open field moving distance and speed， percentage of sugar preference， and monoamine neurotransmitter concentration in Group I and Group Ⅱ were significantly increased compared with those in Group Ⅳ （P<0.05）， while Enterococcus faecalis， Escherichia coli and lactobacillus were significantly decreased （P<0.05）， and Bifidobacterium had an upward trend， but without significant difference. There was no significant change in food intake. 【Conclusion】 Lactobacillus rhamnosus can improve the depression-like behavior， affect monoamine neurotransmitters in mice， and regulate intestinal flora， which provides a new direction for studies on postpartum depression.

Objective:To investigate the level of rumination and its influential factors among Chinese psychiatry nurses who go through work place violence.Methods:In this study, 150 psychiatry nurses were recruited from Affiliated Brain Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University (specialize in psychiatry), via the combination of convenient sampling and snowball sampling. Chinese Event-related Rumination Inventory (C-ERRI) was applied in the survey.Results:The total score of C-ERRI was (22.11±9.62) points, and the scores of intrusive rumination subscale and deliberate rumination subscale were (12.99±5.58) and (9.12±6.01) points, respectively. Multiple Linear Regression Analysis show that assault frequency in recent year ( B=-3.195, P<0.01) and whether got injury in the recent assault ( B=8.591, P<0.01) were predictors of deliberate rumination, which account for 26.8% variance of the equation. Gender (male) ( B=-2.415, P<0.01), Injury frequency in recent year ( B=2.864, P<0.01) and whether got injury in the recent assault ( B=8.949, P<0.01) were predictors of intrusive rumination. They account for 36.0% variance of the equation. Conclusion:In this study, the level of rumination among Chinese psychiatry nurses was low. Their rumination style was deliberate rumination.

Objective:To explore the effects of direct antiviral agent (DAAs) on the frequency of peripheral blood mononuclear cells and their activating factors sCD14s and CD163 in patients with chronic hepatitis C.Methods:Data of 15 treatment-naive chronic hepatitis C patients and 10 healthy controls were collected. Patients with chronic hepatitis C were treated with DAAs for 12 weeks. Blood samples were collected at 0, 4 and 12 weeks respectively, and blood samples of healthy controls were used as controls. Flow cytometry was used to detect the frequency of classical CD14 ++CD16 - mononuclear cells and pro-inflammatory CD14 +CD16 + mononuclear cells in peripheral blood. Serum sCD14s and sCD163 were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The comparison between the two groups was performed by t-test. The comparison between multiple groups was performed by analysis of variance, and further pairwise comparison was performed by LSD-t test. Results:Prior DAAs treatment, peripheral blood CD14 +CD16 + mononuclear cell frequency (18.49% ± 1.54% vs. 10.65% ± 0.83%), serum sCD14s [(64 407.38 ± 5778.49) pg/ml vs. (28 370.76 ± 2 357.68 ) pg/ml] and sCD163 [(22 853.80 ± 4 137.61) pg/ml vs. (2 934.41 ± 223.31) pg/ml] were all higher than healthy controls ( P < 0.05), while the frequency of CD14 ++CD16 - mononuclear cells in peripheral blood was lower than healthy controls (59.14%±0.54% vs. 72.75%±1.31%, P < 0.01). During DAAs treatment, CD14 +CD16 + mononuclear cells frequency, serum sCD14 and sCD163 were all decreased significantly. After 12 weeks of treatment, CD14 +CD16 + mononuclear cells had decreased to nearly normal level (12.42% ± 1.60% vs. 10.65% ± 0.83%, P > 0.05), and serum sCD14 and scd163 were still higher than those of healthy controls [sCD14: (44 390.06 ± 3 330.17) pg / ml vs. (28 370.76 ± 2 357.68) pg/ml, Scd163: (11 494.79 ± 1 836.97) pg / ml vs. (2 934.41 ± 223.31) pg / ml, P < 0.01], while the frequency of CD14 ++CD16 -mononuclear cells had gradually increased during the course of treatment and neared healthy control level after 12 weeks of treatment. There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups (71.54) % ± 2.99% vs. 72.75% ± 1.31%, P > 0.05). Conclusion:DAAs therapy can reduce the activation of peripheral blood mononuclear cells in patients with chronic hepatitis C.

Objective: To discuss the strategy of therapeutic management of T3 supraglottic carcinoma. Methods: A retrospective analysis of 459 patients with T3 supraglottic carcinoma treated in our hospital was performed. We evaluated the results of different managements, including surgery alone, preoperative radiotherapy, postoperative radiotherapy and radiotherapy alone. The extent of the lesion was also put into analysis. Statistical analysis of the overall survival (OS), cause-specific survival (CSS), local control (LC), regional control(RC), function-conservation (FC) were performed with the statistical package from SPSS. Results: In all patients, the rates of 5-year OS, CSS, LC, RC and FC were 64.2%, 71.2%, 87.8%, 78.8% and 64.5% respectively. The OS, LC and FC of the patients treated by surgery alone, preoperative radiotherapy and postoperative radiotherapy had no significant difference, and were remarkably better than that of patients treated by radiotherapy alone (P<0.001). In 412 patients treated by surgery, 300 patients received function-conservation laryngectomy. 209 patients (50.7%, 209/412) survived and maintained well-function of larynx for 5 years, which was significantly better than those in the radiotherapy alone group (27.7%, 13/47). The patients with the lesion invading the pre-epiglottic space but limited in supraglottic area had better OS (70.2%), LC (93.5%) and FC (85.1%). The rate of 5-year neck lymphatic metastasis was 56.2%(258/459), and the 5-year OS of patients with N0, N1, N2 and N3 stage were 76.0%, 66.2%, 50.5% and 13.0% respectively. Conclusions Surgical treatment was the best therapeutic approach for T3 supraglottic laryngeal carcinoma. Most patients with T3 lesions are suitable for function-conservation laryngectomy. Surgical procedure was determined by tumor invaded location and extension. The combined therapy of surgery and radiotherapy had no significant advantage.

Methods From January 2010 to May 2012, 120 patients with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation undergoing surgical treatment in Nanfang hospital were randomized into two equal groups to receive routine therapy (control group) and additional treatment with Yiqi Houxue Bushen Decoction (treatment group). The effect of the interventions was evaluated by assessing the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), Japanese Orthopedic Association Scores (JOA), WHO Quality of Life-BREF (WHOQOL-BREF), length of hospital stay and adverse event. Results All the 120 patients were followed up and analyzed. Significant differences were found between the treatment and control groups in VAS, JOA Scores, and WHOQOL-BREF (P<0.01) at 2, 4, and 8 week and at 6 and 12 months after the surgery. At 6 and 12 months postoperatively, the JOA Scores (P<0.01), but not the VAS and WHOQOL-BREF, differed significantly between the two groups. Conclusion Blood-activating and kidney-nourishing therapy is effective in promoting postoperative recovery and helps reduce the clinical symptoms and minimize the adverse events in patients undergoing surgery for lumber intervertebral disc herniation.
