Background Welders in automobile manufacturers are prone to hand/wrist musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), which seriously affect workers' physical and mental health. Objective To investigate the factors influencing hand/wrist MSDs of welders in an automobile factory and the population attributable risk percentage (PARP). Methods Five branches of an automobile factory were selected by convenient sampling method, and all qualified welders in the selected branches were enrolled as research participants. The Chinese Musculoskeletal Disorders Questionnaire was used to collect information such as general characteristics of welders, presentation of MSDs in the wrists and hands, and selected ergonomic factors. Log-binomial model in the SAS program was used to calculate the prevalence ratio (PR) of each influencing factor and PARP. Results The prevalence rate of MSDs in the hands/wrists of welders in the automobile factory was 44.1% (345/782). The results of multiple analysis showed that female (PR=1.25, 95%CI: 1.10-1.44), being very tired after work (versus not tired, PR=2.22, 95%CI: 1.16-4.25), twisting wrists (PR=1.44, 95%CI: 1.19-1.74), insufficient operating space (PR=1.22, 95%CI: 1.07-1.40), and holding or pinching objects by hands (PR=1.58, 95%CI: 1.18-2.12) increased the risk of reporting hand/wrist MSDs symptoms. The PARP of major occupational risk factors was: holding or pinching objects by hands, 32.46%; twisting wrists, 21.50%; being very tired after work, 15.28%; and insufficient operating space, 8.18%. Conclusion The prevalence of MSDs symptoms in hands/wrists of welders in this automobile factory is high. Gender, holding or pinching objects by hands, twisting wrists, being very tired after work, and insufficient operating space are the factors affecting hand/wrist MSDs, among which holding or pinching objects by hands and twisting wrists are the priority intervention factors.

Hepatocellular carcinoma is one of the common causes of tumor-related death, and it has high morbidity and mortality rates in China. Recent studies have shown that platelets are closely associated with the development of hepatocellular carcinoma. Literature review shows that platelets not only participate in hemostasis, but also act on liver cells and tumor microenvironment, promote the formation of new blood vessels, and participate in the development and progression of hepatocellular carcinoma as a cell mediator through immune response and other pathways. In addition, platelets and their derivatives can be used as potential therapeutic targets for hepatocellular carcinoma. Therefore, antiplatelet therapy is expected to become a new adjuvant strategy for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma, which has important clinical significance.

A 63-year-old male patient presented with diarrhea at the previous night after taking colchicine by himself for acute gout attacks and then he changed to take diclofenac sodium himself(75 mg twice daily)for 3 days. On the third day after diclofenac sodium treatment,nausea and vomiting occurred, then the drug was stopped(the total dose was 375 mg). Two days after the drug withdrawal,the patient successively developed reduced urine output and chest discomfort. Laboratory tests showed serum creatinine 758.4 μmol/L,blood urea 13.9 mmol/L,and blood potassium 3.1 mmol/L. He was diagnosed as having acute kidney disease(AKI)and was admitted to the Department of Nephrology. After admission,he received oral compound α-Ketoacid tablets(4 pills thrice daily),benidipine tablets(4 mg once daily)and Jinshuibao capsules(金水宝胶囊,1.98 g thrice daily),and was asked to drink more water. On the 7th day after the drug withdrawal,renal biopsy was performed and the histopathological examination result of renal tissue showed acute tubular damage. The above-mentioned treatments were continued and the patient′s renal function was improved gradually. On the 24th day after diclofenac sodium withdrawal,his serum creatinine was 89 μmol/L and blood urea was 7.5 mmol/L. Diclofenac sodium-associated AKI was considered.

Objective To perform the chromosome detection in 1 237 infertile patients for analyzing the karyotypes results and investigating the relationship between infertility and chromosome abnormalities .Methods The peripheral venous blood samples in 1 237 infertile patients in our hospital from March 2010 to December 2014 were collected ,performed the lymphocyte culture ,ob‐tained cells ,fixed under hypotonic condition ,prepared the section and observed them by microscope after G‐banding treatment .Re‐sults Among 1 237 patients ,111 cases abnormal karyotypes were detected with the total abnormal detection rate of 8 .9% ,in which ,57 cases were sex chromosomes abnormality ,54 cases were euchromosomes abnormality .Conclusion Chromosome abnor‐mality is one of the important causes leading to primary infertility .Infertility caused by chromosome abnormalities is irreversible ,so the chromosome cytogenetic examination is especially important in the diagnosis and treatment process of infertile patients .

Objective The incidence of complications after esophageal cancer surgery is relatively high.The purpose of this paper was to explore the feasibility of combined thoraco-laparoscopy surgical treatment for senile esophageal cancer(over 70 years old).Methods A total of 526 esophageal cancer cases were retrospectively analyzed in this study.The operative procedures was esophageal carcinoma resection surgery and thoracic and abdominal lymphadenectomy which were operated through video-assisted by thoracoscope and laparoscopic From January 2010 to June 2014 in the Union Hospital of Fujian Medical University,divided into aged groups(≥70 years old,n =132) and non-aged group(＜ 70 years old,n =394).Statistical analysis was carried on the rate of two groups of preoperative risk factors(hypertension,diabetes,cardiac insufficiency,pulmonary insufficiency,cerebral infarction),surgical trauma and the number of lymph node dissection (laryngeal recurrent nerve injury,operation time,intraoperative blood loss),postoperative complications(cardiac complications,chylothorax,pulmonary complications,anastomotic fistula,poor healing of the incision,intrathoracic stomach atony),postoperative recovery and early postoperative mortality.Results Preoperative risk factors:the prevalence of the aged group with hypertension,cerebral infarction,cardiac insufficiency,and pulmonary insufficiency was significantly higher than the non-aged group (P ＜ 0.05) but diabetes (P ＞ 0.05).Surgical trauma and the number of lymph node dissection:no significant difference (P ＞ 0.05).Postoperative complications:the aged group was higher in the incidence of pulmonary complications and cardiac complications than the other (P ＜ 0.05) ; but the chylothorax,anastomotic fistula and poor healing of incision,intrathoracic stomach atony in the two groups seemed no significant difference(P ＞ 0.05).Furthermore,pulmonary complications were highest in the all complications,significantly higher than the others in both groups.Postoperative recovery:significant difference existed in postoperative hospitalization days,the aged group was obviously longer than the non-age groups.Early postoperative mortality rates in the two groups had no significant difference.Conclusion The aged patiences had a higher prevalence in the preoperative risk factors and so was the cardiac complications as well as pulmonary complications among the postoperative complications.However the combined thoraco-laparoscopy in the surgical treatment of elderly patients with esophageal cancer is safe and feasible.

Objective To observe change of T regulatory cells (Tregs) and its relation with in-jury severity and sepsis following severe muhiple injury. Methods A total of 60 patients were em-ployed in the study and divided into severe group (30 patients) and critical group (30 patients) based on ISS scores and into sepsis group (22 patients) and non-sepsis group (38 patients) based on complication of sepsis. The proportion of Tregs in peripheral blood in different groups was detected by flow cytometry at days 1,3,5 and 8 after injury. Results The proportion of Tregs was significantly increased at day 5 postinjury, with statistical difference compared with that at day 3 postinjury (P < 0.01). The proportion of Tregs remained increasing at day 8 pestinjury (P < 0.05). At day 8 postinjury, the proportion of Tregs in critical group was significantly higher than that in severe group (P < 0.01). At the same time, the proportion of Tregs in sepsis group was significantly higher than that in non-sepsis group (P < 0.05). Spearman correlation analysis showed a positive correlation of Tregs proportion with ISS score (rs =0.654, P < 0.01). Conclusions Tregs play an important role in suppression of T cell-mediated im-munity after severe injury. The variation of Tregs can help evaluate prognosis and predict the risk of com-plicating sepsis in patients with severe multiple injury.
