Objective:To explore the effectiveness of the"full-chain"integrated medical and elderly care service model in addressing key issues in medical-nursing services such as weak medical support capacity and insufficient provision of community-and home-based medical-nursing services. Methods:The development pathway for the"full-chain"integrated medical-elderly care service standardization system, encompassing core components such as operational mechanisms, smart platforms, policy documents, and quality control systems was systematically outlined.Effectiveness based on dimensions including service coverage, quality improvement, talent development, and social benefits was evaluated. With standardization as the core driver,the'1234567'management model was innovatively implemented. Results:The model leveraged the downward allocation of high-quality resources from tertiary general hospitals to strengthen subdistrict community health service centers.By collaborating with subdistrict elderly-care service centers,it established"subdistrict medical-elderly care and wellness service centers".These centers enhanced the capabilities of"community-embedded elderly-care complexes",including community daytime care centers, established two-way referral channels between medical and elderly care services, aligned with healthcare demands to provide elderly individuals with reliable medical support. It reduced the burden on families and society, stimulated market vitality, boosted domestic demand, promoted the development of integrated medical-elderly care and wellness initiatives, thereby advancing the silver economy. With provincial government endorsement, the model had been applied to 203 communities across 37 counties by the end of 2024.Conclusion:The established"full-chain"integrated medical-elderly care service model facilitates regional high-quality development in integrated care by consolidating healthcare group resources and seamlessly connecting the service chain across hospitals, nursing homes, community institutions, and home-based settings, thereby creating a practical paradigm for comprehensive elderly care service delivery.

Ferroptosis is a form of programmed cell death driven by iron-dependent lipid peroxidation and is closely associated with a wide range of biological processes, such as aging, immunity, and cancer. Tumor multidrug resistance, especially resistance to apoptosis, has prompted the urgent search for a new antitumor treatment option. Remarkable progress has been made in the study of the role of ferroptosis in antitumor, especially the interaction with immune cells. Studying immunotherapy based on ferroptosis pathways has become a new direction in antitumor research. In this work, we review the role of ferroptosis in immune cells and antitumor immunotherapy to provide new ideas for ferroptosis-mediated antitumor immunotherapy.

In order to investigate the molecular evolution and spatio-temporal migration of Getah viruses (GETV) isolated around the world, the nucleotide and deduced amino acid sequence of GETVs were analyzed and phylogenetic trees were constructed by using informatics software including ClustalX1.83,MegaAlign,GeneDOC and Mega6.0.The Bayesian Stochastic Search Variable Selection (BSSVS) program in the BEAST v 1.8.1 software package was used to analyze the spatial dynamics of the Getah virus. Results showed that the full-length of Getah virus E2 gene consists of 1 266 nueleotides, encoding 422 amino acids. And the homology of nucleotide and amino acid were 94.5% 100% and 96.4% 100% respectively. The molecular evolution analysis revealed that there were no species and geographical distribution difference existing among GETV host animals (e.g.horses and pigs) and vectors (e.g.mosquitoes).Bioinformatics analysis showed that GETV originated in Malaysia, then it was spread to Japan,China,South Korea,Mongolia,Russia, etc.GETV E2 gene was relatively stable since GETV was first isolated in 1955.The differences of species and geographical distribution did not exist among GETV host animals and vectors, and the virus has spread from tropical regions to Eurasian continent. Thus, strengthening the detection and monitoring of GETV and its infections in humans and livestock is critical.

It is difficult to diagnose and treat local recurrence of the rectal cancer after operation. The early diagnosis is crucial for the recurrence of rectal cancer after operation. MSCT perfusion imaging is valuable in the diagnosis of recurrence of rectal cancer after operation. The application of MSCT perfusion imaging following rectal cancer operation was reviewed in this article.

Objective To report the first case of cervical l ymphadenitis caused by Candida albicans in China. Methods A series of clinical, histopatholog ic.and mycologic studies were carried out in an 8year-old-boy with cervical lymphadenitis, who had no definite underlying disease.Candida albicans was isolated fromthe patient. The lymph node was investigated by me ans of culture, pathological and tra nsmission electron microscopic examination and cellular immunology detected by flow cytometer. Results There were several enlarged, warm,a nd fluctuant cervical lymph nodes which varied fr om 1cm?1cm to 4cm?4cm in size. One swo llen node was excised, and Candida albicans was found in the culture. The histopathologic changes of the cervical lym ph node were compatible with chronic granulomatous disease.PAS and methenamine silver(PAM)stain of a touch preparation of the bi opsy specimen revealed budding spores an d pseudohyphae.Lymphopenia with a p roportionate decrease of T-helper a nd T-suppressor cells was shown with flowcytometry. The patient received a combination therapy of surgery, flu conazole, thymosin and so on.After one month,t he patient's condition was improved. Many small lymph nodes disappeared, large lymph nodes became smaller.Tw o months later, only one large lymph n ode could be touched. Conclusion It is the first case of cervical lymphad enitis caused by Candida reported in China.Combination therapy of surgery, fluconazole and thymosin is effective.
