The latest guideline for diagnosis and treatment of DLB in China has defined electroencephalography abnormalities as one of the supportive biomarkers. Seizures and epileptiform discharges in patients with DLB are gradually attracting attention and research, and there is increasing evidence of the correlation between DLB and epilepsy. However, the identification and diagnosis of seizures in DLB patients are challenging. In addition to clinical seizures, subclinical epileptiform activity is also an important part in DLB research. The underlying pathological mechanism of DLB epileptic seizures is still unclear. The current connection, potential pathological mechanisms, and possible future research directions between epilepsy and DLB were summarized in this review. Alcoholic liver disease(ALD)is the most frequent liver disease worldwide,resulting in severe harm to personal health and posing a serious burden to public health.Based on the reported antioxidant and anti-inflammatory capacities of scutellarin(SCU),this study investigated its protective role in male BALB/c mice with acute alcoholic liver injury after oral administration(10,25,and 50 mg/kg).The results indicated that SCU could lessen serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and aspartate aminotransferase(AST)levels and improve the histopathological changes in acute alcoholic liver;it reduced alcohol-induced malondialdehyde(MDA)content and increased glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px),catalase(CAT),and superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity.Furthermore,SCU decreased tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6),and IL-1β messenger RNA(mRNA)expression levels,weakened inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS)activity,and inhibited nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain(NOD)-like receptor protein 3(NLRP3)inflammasome activation.Mechanistically,SCU suppressed cytochrome P450 family 2 subfamily E member 1(CYP2E1)upregulation triggered by alcohol,increased the expression of oxidative stress-related nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2(Nrf2)and heme oxygenase-1(HO-1)pathways,and suppressed the inflammation-related degradation of inhibitor of nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB)-α(IκBα)as well as activation of NF-κB by mediating the protein kinase B(AKT)and p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)pathways.These findings demonstrate that SCU protects against acute alcoholic liver injury via inhibiting oxidative stress by regulating the Nrf2/HO-1 pathway and suppressing inflammation by regulating the AKT,p38 MAPK/NF-κB pathways.

Objective:To explore the mediating effect of coping style between family function and psychological resilience in patients with diabetes retinopathy (DR) .Methods:From September 2021 to August 2022, 310 DR patients who visited the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University were selected as the study subject by convenience sampling. Patients were surveyed using the General Information Questionnaire, Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire (SCSQ) , Family Assessment Device (FAD) , and Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) . Pearson correlation was used to analyze the correlation between coping style, family function, and psychological resilience in DR patients. AMOS 21.0 software was used to establish structural equation models and verify mediating effects. A total of 310 questionnaires were distributed, and 297 valid questionnaires were collected, and the effective response rate of the questionnaire was 95.81% (297/310) .Results:Among 297 DR patients, the positive coping dimension score in SCSQ was (14.79±3.58) , while the negative coping dimension score was (16.37±4.02) . the FAD score was (169.28±23.34) . The total score of CD-RISC was (65.62±11.52) . The score of the positive coping dimension was negatively correlated with the FAD score ( P<0.05) , and positively correlated with the total score and each dimension score of CD-RISC ( P<0.05) . The score of negative coping dimension was positively correlated with the score of FAD ( P<0.05) , and negatively correlated with the total score and each dimension score of CD-RISC ( P<0.05) . The FAD score was negatively correlated with the total score and each dimension score of CD-RISC ( P<0.05) . Coping styles played a partial mediating effect between family function and psychological resilience, with the mediating effect accounting for 53.65% of the total effect. Conclusions:DR patients have poor family functional and moderate psychological resilience, and their coping styles tend to be negative. Medical and nursing staff should pay attention to and improve the family function of patients, promote their positive response to diseases, and enhance their family function and psychological resilience.

Objective:To understand the current situation of male nurses in Dalian area and explore its future development direction.Methods:From August to September in 2020, 189 male nurses who had been engaged in clinical nursing for more than one year in 29 hospitals in Dalian were selected by convenient sampling method, and they were investigated by questionnaire. SPSS 25.0 software was used for statistical analysis. The counting data were described by rate or constituent ratio. Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the important factors influencing male nurses′ willingness to change profession.Results:A total of 189 male nurses were investigated, 137 of them were under 30 years old, accounting for 72.5%. They had high education background and low professional title, mainly concentrated in ICU, operation room and emergency department of public owned 3A or 3B hospitals, with a monthly income of 3 000 to 8 000 yuan. 33 nurses(17.5%) chose nursing profession because they couldn′t change careers by profession adjustment. 135 nurses (71.4%) considered that work pressure was high. 70 nurses (37.0%) had the idea of changing careers. The main influencing factors included:nursing career was not in accordance with individual interest, dislike of female boss, low income. The prominent problem in nursing career was "inconvenience in gender""the confusion of self-positioning".Conclusions:The hospital should improve the income of male nurses, reduce the work pressure, establish magnetic hospital, establish career planning for them, and expand the team of male nurses. Male nurses should take the initiative to improve their professional ability and professional title, so as to provide necessary conditions for the realization of nursing managers, educators, researchers and other professional goals.

Objective:To investigate changes of hip pain and physical function in patients with osteoarthritis (OA) and analyze the gait and postural factors related to pain progression and functional changes.Methods:From March 2019 to May 2021, a total of 300 patients with OA admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University were consecutively enrolled. The visual analog scale (VAS) and the physical function subscale of the 36-item short form health survey (SF-36) were used to assess hip pain and physical function at enrollment (baseline) and after 12 months of follow-up, respectively. The Vicon 3D motion capture system was used to assess the gait of the patients, and the spinal line angle and mobility in the sagittal plane were measured using a spinal mouse. Linear regression analysis was performed with hip pain and changes in physical function as dependent variables and factors related to gait and standing posture as independent variables. Age, joint space width (JSW) , hip pain and physical function at baseline were adjusted.Results:Linear regression analysis showed that limited hip extension angle [standardized regression coefficient ( β) was -0.52, 95% confidence interval ( CI) : -0.88 to -0.17]and limited hip rotation ( β=-0.51, 95% CI: -0.85 to -0.18) were the influencing factors of hip pain ( P<0.05) . Increased thoracic kyphosis ( β=-0.54, 95% CI: -0.99 to -0.09) , decreased anterior sacral slope ( β=0.40, 95% CI: 0.01 to 0.79) , decreased thoracic range of motion ( β=0.59, 95% CI: 0.23 to 0.94) , decreased daily walking steps ( β=0.53, 95% CI: 0.13 to 0.92 ) and decreased walking speed ( β=0.45, 95% CI: 0.04 to 0.86 ) were the influencing factors of decreased physical function ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Limited hip extension and external rotation during walking are related factors of hip pain aggravation in patients with OA. Increased thoracic kyphosis, decreased anterior sacral slope, decreased thoracic range of motion, decreased daily walking steps and decreased walking speed are the influencing factors of decreased physical function. It is suggested that nurses should take the above factors as the focus of clinical intervention to prevent the progression of OA.

Objective:To explore the effect of "medical clown" assisted anesthesia intervention in pediatric surgery.Methods:From May 2018 to May 2020, a total of 1 200 surgical children admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University were selected as the research object. The children were divided into a control group and an observation group with the random number table method, each with 600 cases. The control group completed anesthesia intervention according to the conventional method, and the observation group was given "medical clown" assisted anesthesia intervention. The mean arterial pressure (MAP) , heart rate (HR) , and the modified Face, Legs, Activity, Crying, Consolability (FLACC) score of the two groups of children at different time points were compared. At the same time, the anesthesia Induction Compliance Checklist (ICC) score, and the modified Yale Preoperative Anxiety Scale-Short Form (mYPAS) score of the two groups of children and the satisfaction of the family members with the operation when the child came to the hospital for review one month later were recorded.Results:The MAP, HR, and FLACC scores of the two groups were compared at different time points, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05) . After the intervention, the ICC and mYPAS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the satisfaction of the family members of the children was higher than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:The application of "medical clown" assisted anesthesia intervention in pediatric surgery can stabilize the basic indicators of children, reduce anxiety, and have a high degree of cooperation in anesthesia.

Objective: To investigate the differential expression of serum-and-glucocorticoid-inducible-kinase-2 (SGK2) in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and normal liver tissues and the related mechanism mediating signal transduction of GSK-3 β / β catenin in HCC cells. Methods: Twenty pairs of matched HCC and normal tissues were collected and the situation of expression of SGK2 mRNA was detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR. Western blot was used to detect the levels of SGK2 protein in human HCC cell lines (Huh-7, SMMC-7721) and normal human liver cell line (L02). SGK2 siRNA was used to transfect human HCC cell lines (SMMC-7721 and Huh-7), and then the protein expression levels of GSK-3 β/ β - catenin was successfully detected with the above-mentioned transfected cell line by western blot. Measurement data were expressed as mean ± standard deviation (±s), and the Student t -test was used as the statistical method. Results: SGK2 mRNA expression was up-regulated in all 20 HCC samples than that of the expression of matched normal liver tissues. SGK2 protein levels were significantly higher in Huh-7 and SMMC-7721 than normal human liver cell lines (P < 0.01). The downregulation of SGK2 expression in human HCC cell lines (SMMC-7721 and Huh-7) had inhibited the expression of unphosphorylated GSK-3 β. In addition, the downregulation of SGK2 expression in HCC cell lines had decreased the dephosphorylation of β - catenin to prevent degradation of the β - catenin proteasome. Conclusion SGK2 is overexpressed in HCC and mediates GSK-3β/β- catenin signaling in HCC cells.

Objective To observe the effect of brain-derived microvesicles (BDMVs) on cytoskeleton in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs).Methods BDMVs were prepared in vitro and identified by transmission electron microscopy and particle size identification.HUVECs were co-cultured with PKH26-1abeled BDMVs for 0.5,1,and 2 h;flow cytometry was used to detect the phagocytosis of HUVECs for BDMVs at different time points.HUVECs cultured in vitro were divided into control group,BDMVs treatment group and nimodipine treatment group;cells in the BDMVs treatment group were given 1.5× 107/mL BDMVs;cells in the nimodipine treatment group were pretreated with 2 μg nimodipine (0.2 mg/mL) for 10 min,and then,given 1.5×107/mL BDMVs.After being stained with rhodamine-labeled phalloidin,the fluorescence intensity and number of stress fibers of fibroactin in HUVECs were observed by laser confocal microscopy.Results BDMVs had complete membrane structure with a diameter of 100-1000 nm under transmission electron microscopy.The proportion of cells phagocytizing BDMVs increased significantly with prolonged incubation time,enjoying significant differences (0.5h:22.7％±1.2％;1 h:52.3％±1.3％;2h:71.6％±1.9％,P＜0.05).Laser confocal microscopy showed that,as compared with the control group,the fluorescence intensity ofcytoskeletal protein was obviously increased and the number of stress fibers increased was obviously larger in the BDMVs treatment group.As compared with those in the BDMVs treatment group,the fluorescence intensity of cytoskeletal protein was decreased and the number of stress fibers was obviously smaller in the nimodipine group.Conclusion The role of BDMVs in phagocytosis of HUVECs becomes stronger as time being prolonged,and BDMVs phagocytosis leads to cytoskeletal remodeling,which can be partially blocked by nimodipine.

Objective:To explore the predictive efficiency of the timed "up and go" test (TUGT) on the frailty of elderly inpatients with cardiovascular disease and to provide an objective reference for clinical assessment of frailty.Methods:According to the convenience sampling method, a total of 156 elderly patients who were hospitalized in Cardiovascular Department in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University Medical College from May to July 2019 were selected as research objects. Frailty Phenotype Scale was used to evaluate their frailty, TUGT was used to record their walking function and ROC was used to analyze the predictive efficiency of TUGT on the frailty of elderly inpatients with cardiovascular disease.Results:ROC curve analysis showed that the optimal critical value of TUGT for predicting frailty of patients aged 60 to 69 years was 15.17 s, area under curve ( AUC) was 0.827, 95% CI was 0.727 to 0.902, the sensitivity was 66.67% and the specificity was 98.04%. The optimal critical value of TUGT for predicting frailty of patients aged equal or over to 70 years was 15.26 s, AUC was 0.829, 95% CI was 0.724 to 0.906, the sensitivity was 77.50% and the specificity was 82.86%. Conclusions:TUGT has moderate predictive efficacy in assessment of frailty in elderly inpatients, but it can provide an objective and effective reference for clinical data. Moreover, the test is fast, simple and clinically easy to operate, which can be used as a preliminary screening for frailty in elderly inpatients with cardiovascular diseases.
