ABSTRACT OBJECTIVE：To make a textual research on ethnic medicine Paederiae Herba，and to provide reference for further research and comprehensive development and utilization of Paederiae Herba. METHODS：Five materia medica works such as Compendium of Materia Medica Collection and Examination of Plant Names and Actual Maps，55 modern materia medica works such as Chinese materia medica and Flora of China published from 1960 to 2016，and a number of literatures were synthesized and sorted out. The name，original species，origins，harvesting and processing，flavor and meridian tropism and so on of P. scandens were studied. Its mainstream varieties were mainly clarified and use of them in various nationalities were sorted out. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS：The name of“Paederiae Herba”was first recorded in the Qing Dynasty’s Examination of Plant Names and Actual Maps. The main variety of Paederiae Herba was Paederia scandens （Lour.） Merr.，also known as “Jishiteng”. The medicinal part was the aboveground part. It distributed in bushes of hillsides，forests，forest margins，valleys and shrubs at an altitude of 200 to 2 000 meters or wound around shrubs. It was mainly produced in the Yangtze River Valley of China and its southern regions. The processing methods are mostly shade-drying or removing impurities，washing，cutting and drying. Its sweet， astringent，flat，and it can be used for digestion，pain relief，detoxification and clearing damp，and can be used for food retention， chest，abdomen and abdomen pain，eczema，sores，swelling and pain. It was used in the folk of Miao，Tujia and Zhuang nationalities in China. There are still some problems such as mixed varieties and different processing methods in the market circulation. All these have brought many challenges to the research of quality standard of Paederiae Herba.

OBJECTIVE：To investigate the effects of the integration of field processing and decoction piece processing （hereinafter called “Integration”for short ）on chemical composition of Ligusticum chuanxiong decoction pieces. METHODS ：Fresh L. chuanxiong were collected from Dujiangyan and Pengzhou of Sichuan ；integrated decoction pieces of L. chuanxiong were prepared after washing ，drying in the shade （to about 28％ moisture content ），slicing and drying ；traditional decoction pieces was prepared after drying in the shade ，adding water to moisten （to the core ），slicing and drying. HPLC fingerprints of two kinds of decoction pieces samples （with 10 batches in each type ）were established. The determination was performed on WondaSil C 18 column with mobile phase consisted of 1％ formic acid solution-acetonitrile （gradient elution ）at the flow rate of 1.0 mL/min. The column temperature was 30 ℃. The detection wavelength was set at 285 nm，and the sample size was 10 μL. Using ligusticolide A as reference ，HPLC fingerprints of 20 batches of samples were drawn. The similarity of the fingerprints was evaluated with Similarity Evaluation System for Chromatographic Fingerprint of TCM （2004A edition ），and then common peaks were confirmed. The contents of chlorogenic acid ，ferulic acid and ligusticolide A were determined by above chromatographic condition. Single factor variance analysis was performed for comparison of the contents. RESULTS ：The similarity of HPLC fingerprints among 20 batches of samples was above 0.900. A total of 16 common peaks were determined ，7 of which were chlorogenic acid ，ferulic acid，ligusticolide Ⅰ，pine cypress ferulinate ，ligusticolide A ，n-butylphthalide and ligustilide ，respectively. The linear range of chlorogenic acid ，ferulic acid and ligusticolide A were 0.008-0.200 mg/mL（r＝0.999 9），0.010-0.140 mg/mL（r＝0.999 2）and 0.100-0.600 mg/mL（r＝0.999 3）；the limits of quantification were 0.002 8，0.000 6 and 0.005 0 mg/mL，respectively；the limits of detection were 0.000 8，0.000 1 and 0.001 0 mg/mL，respectively；RSDs of precision ，reproducibility and stability tests were all lower than 3％，and average recoveries were 96.27％-102.02％（RSD＜2％，n＝6）. The contents of above compositions in the integrated decoction pieces and traditional decoction pieces were（1.677 0±0.311 0），（1.562 7±0.124 5），（9.494 0±1.351 3）mg/g and（1.300 2±0.469 2），（1.388 0±0.209 9），（9.811 7±1.098 9）mg/g，respectively；there was no statistical significance between 2 groups（P＞0.05）. CONCLUSIONS ：The chemical composition of each batch of samples of L. chuanxiong integrated decoction pieces and traditional decoction pieces is consistent ，and the content of index components as chlorogenic acid ，ferulic acid and ligusticolide A in the decoction pieces is not affected by the integration processing. This process is feasible to a certain extent.

Background: Coinfection with avian leukosis virus subgroup J (ALV-J) and reticuloendotheliosis virus (REV) is common in chickens, and the molecular mechanism of the synergistic pathogenic effects of the coinfection is not clear. Exosomes have been identified as new players in the pathogenesis of retroviruses. The different functions of exosomes depend on their cargo components. Objectives: The aim of this study was to investigate the function of co-regulation differentially expressed proteins in exosomes on coinfection of ALV-J and REV. Methods: Here, viral replication in CEF cells infected with ALV-J, REV or both was detected by immunofluorescence microscopy. Then, we analyzed the exosomes isolated from supernatants of chicken embryo fibroblast (CEF) cells single infected and coinfected with ALV-J and REV by mass spectrometry. KEGG pathway enrichment analyzed the co-regulation differentially expressed proteins in exosomes. Next, we silenced and overexpressed tripartite motif containing 62 (TRIM62) to evaluate the effects of TRIM62 on viral replication and the expression levels of NCK-association proteins 1 (NCKAP1) and actin-related 2/3 complex subunit 5 (ARPC5) determined by quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction. Results: The results showed that coinfection of ALV-J and REV promoted the replication of each other. Thirty proteins, including TRIM62, NCK-association proteins 1 (NCKAP1, also known as Nap125), and Arp2/3-5, ARPC5, were identified. NCKAP1 and ARPC5 were involved in the actin cytoskeleton pathway. TRIM62 negatively regulated viral replication and that the inhibition of REV was more significant than that on ALV-J in CEF cells coinfected with TRIM62. In addition, TRIM62 decreased the expression of NCKAP1 and increased the expression of ARPC5 in coinfected CEF cells. Conclusions Collectively, our results indicated that coinfection with ALV-J and REV competitively promoted each other's replication, the actin cytoskeleton played an important role in the coinfection mechanism, and TRIM62 regulated the actin cytoskeleton.

Objective To explore the regional changes of cerebral function in patients with liver cirrhosis before and 1 month after liver transplantation (LT). Methods A total of 11 patients with liver cirrhosis who underwent LT in Lingnan Hospital, the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University between September 2012 and September 2013 were enrolled in this prospective study (liver cirrhosis group), and at the same period 11 healthy subjects were enrolled in control group. The informed consents of all patients were obtained and the local ethical committee approval was received. Subjects in liver cirrhosis group and control group were all males, with an average age of (49±9) and (48±8) years old, respectively. Changes of regional homogeneity (ReHo) of the cerebral function in patients of liver cirrhosis group before and 1 month after LT was studied by using resting-state functional MRI (rs-fMRI). ReHo values were compared between both groups by t test. Results Compared with control group, ReHo values of right middle occipital gyrus, left middle temporal gyrus, right precuneus/posterior cingulate gyrus, left inferior parietal lobule/postcentral gyrus in liver cirrhosis group significantly decreased before LT (t=-4.65, -4.56,-4.41, -5.87; P<0.05), and those of left middle temporal gyrus, posterior cingulate gyrus, right superior parietal lobule/precuneus also significantly decreased 1 month after LT (t=-4.42, -5.23, -4.41; P<0.05). The ReHo value of middle cingulate gyrus 1 month after LT was significantly higher than that before LT (t=5.24, P<0.05).Conclusions Cerebral dysfunction is observed in patients with liver cirrhosis before LT,and it can change within 1 month after LT, but cannot get a full recovery, which may be related to some irreversible injuries of patients with liver cirrhosis.

Objective To explore the correlation between the fluctuation of blood glucose levels and brain damage in neonates with hypoglycemia. Methods The clinical data of 58 cases of neonatal hypoglycemia diagnosed from September 2013 to August 2016 were analyzed retrospectively. According to the results of neonatal cranial MRI and/or amplitude integrated electroencephalogram (aEEG), the neonates were divided into brain injury group and non-brain injury group. The fluctuation index of blood glucose was compared between two groups, and the correlation between the fluctuation of blood glucose level and brain injury was analyzed. Results In these 58 cases, 13 cases were in brain injury group (8 males and 5 females) and 45 cases were in non-brain injury group (27 males and 18 females). The lowest blood glucose (LBG) value in brain injury group was lower than that in non-brain injury group, while the duration of hypoglycemia, maximum blood glucose fluctuations (LAGE), standard deviation of blood glucose (SDBG), and average blood glucose fluctuations (MAGE) were higher than those in non-brain injury group, and they were all significantly different (P all<0.001). Conclusions Whether the hypoglycemia in newborn could lead to the brain injury or not depends not only on the minimum hypoglycaemia level and duration of hypoglycemia, but also on the indicators of glucose variation, such as LAGE, SDBG and MAGE.

Objective To investigate regional activity abnormalities of patients with liver cirrhosis before and after liver transplantation using resting-state fMRI and amplitude of low frequency fluctuations (ALFF)method.Methods Totally 11 patients preparing to accept liver transplantation were adopted into liver cirrhosis group and 11 healthy volunteers in the health examination were adopted into the control group. The liver cirrhosis group was investigated at a week before operation and repeatedly a month after liver trans-plantation.Healthy volunteers were investigated at the same time.MR imaging data were obtained from a Phil-ips Achieva 1.5-T MR imager.The imaging data were mainly preprocessed with a MATLAB toolbox called DPARSF.REST software was used to calculate the ALFF value of each subject.A second-level random-effect two-sample t-test was performed on the individual ALFF.Significant differences were set at the standard of a corrected cluster level of P<0.05,and software Xjview 8.1 was adopted to express the outcome.Results (1)Compared with control group,decreased ALFF were found in bilateral middle occipital gyrus(MOG) (MNI:x=36,y=-72,z=9),bilateral precuneus/cuneus(PCu/Cu)/posterior cingulated(PCC)(MNI:x=15,y=-66,z=24),left inferior parietal lobule(LIPL)(MNI:x=-39,y=-54,z=42),and bilateral para-central lobule/cingulate gyrus(MNI:x=3,y=-36,z=45)of cirrhosis patients,no increased ALFF were found.(2)Compared with cirrhosis patients,no increased or decreased ALFF were found in postoperative group.After relaxing standards of statistics,increased ALFF were found in left inferior parietal lobule(IPL) (MNI:x=-39,y=-51,z=42),cingulate gyrus(MNI:x=3,y=-33,z=42),and right middle frontal gyrus (MNI:x=35,y=57,z=0)of postoperative group,no decreased ALFF were found.(3)Compared with control group,decreased ALFF were found in bilateral precuneus/posterior cingulated(PCC),and left middle occipi-tal gyrus(MOG)of postoperative group,no increased ALFF were found.Conclusions Significant decreased ALFF is found in visual cortex(PCu),DMN((PCu/Cu/PCC),and LIPL of cirrrhosis patients,and those ab-normalities reflect the weakness of local neurons spontaneous low-frequency.Compared with beforeoperative group,ALFF of LIPL,in cingulate gyrus,and right middle frontal gyrus have a tendency of rising.One month after liver transplantation,decreased ALFF is found in BA7 and BA 31,suggesting that the spontaneous low-frequency of local neurons haven't recoverd to normal level.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the value of colposcopical 4-quadrant biopsies for detecting precancerous lesion in cervical cancer screening.

METHODSWe used the data of a cross-sectional screening study in 1999, in which 1,997 women received cervical cancer screening in Xiang Yuan County, Shanxi province. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of both 4-quadrant biopsy and colposcopy directed biopsy to detect high-grade or more severe squamous intraepithelial lesions (HSIL+) were calculated.

RESULTS1,784(89.3%) women who received 4-quadrant biopsies and endocervical curettage were negative. 127(6.4%) women were diagnosed as LSIL, 74(3.7%) women as HSIL and 12(0.6%) cases of squamous cell carcinoma. 1,478(74.0%) women who received biopsies in the sites of abnormal lesions were negative, 463(23.2%) cases of LSIL, 41(2.1%) cases of HSIL, 15(0.8%) cases of squamous cell carcinoma. The positive rate was 26.0%(519/1,997) for colposcopy, and the coincidence rate was 73.7% with pathological diagnosis. Sensitivity and specificity were 81.4% and 76.5% of colposcopy for HSIL+. In total of 519 women were found to be with any abnormal colposcopic appearance. The consistency rate between 4-quadrant biopsies and suspicious lesion-directed biopsies was 96.3%. By suspicious lesion-directed biopsy alone, 14.8% cervical lesions were miss-diagnosed, of which 8.6%(5/58) cases of total HSIL and 24.1%(14/58) cases of all LSIL.

CONCLUSIONS4-quadrant biopsy can detect more HSIL+ lesions and is more accurate than suspicious lesion biopsy alone. As an important triage technique to detect cervical precancerous lesions, it can improve the detection rate of HSIL+ lesions in cervical cancer screening.

OBJECTIVEThe aim of this study was to investigate the characteristics of p16 and PR immunoreactivity and HPV infection in endocervical adenocarcinoma.

METHODSParaffin blocks of 62 patients with endocervical adnocarcinoma treated in the Cancer Institute and Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences from year 2005 to year 2010 were collected. p16 and PR immunostaining and HPV detecting by SPF-10 PCR were conducted on all cases.

RESULTSHPV infection rate of the 62 endocervical adnocarcinoma cases was 74.2% with four cases combined with CIN3. Among the 46 HPV-positive cases, there were 22 cases of HPV18 infection (47.8%), 14 cases of HPV16 infection (30.4%), one case of HPV59 infection (2.2%). and nine multiple HPV infection cases (19.6%). The mean age of the 16 HPV-negative cases was (49.6 ± 10.5)year, while the mean age of the 46 HPV-positive cases was (42.8 ± 9.7)year, showing a significant difference between the two subgroups (P = 0.022). The positive rate of p16 infection was 80.6%. Association analysis showed that the results of p16 and HPV test were independent to each other (P = 0.077). The positive rate of PR was 3.2%. Among the 62 cases, there were 24 cases containing normal cervical glands, with 19 cases PR-positive in the normal cervical glands and the positive rate was 79.2%. The difference of PR positivity between neoplastic glands and normal glands was statistically significant by Chi-square test (P < 0.01) .

CONCLUSIONSThe HPV infection rate of endocervical adnocarcinoma is 74.2%, and the major subtypes were HPV16 and HPV18 infection. p16 immunoreactivity in endocervical adenocarcinoma maybe not the proof of high-risk HPV-related neoplasm. PR staining can be used as a reference designator to differentiate between neoplastic and normal cervical glands.

Objeetive To detect the influence of psychological nursing intervention in 215 Prlmiparas Methods Taking whole course psychological nursing intervention of 215 primiparas who were making appointments on obstetrical outpatient department.Take psychological care,education of in-hospital and person to person care of in-delivery room as experiment group.and choose 205 Primiparas who were delivery in ordinary way at random.Compare the rate of viginal delivmy and the rate of cesarean section and neonatal asphyxia and the rate of postpartum hemorrhage.Evaluate the effect of Psychological nursing intervention to Primiparas.Results The rate of、riginal delivery on experiment group Was higher than the control group.It also shorten the duration of labor,and control the rate of cesarean section,neonatal asphyxia and postpartum hemorrhage effectively.There ale significant difference between two groups(P＜0.05).Conclusion The psychological nursing intervention is positive to the primiparasis in labor.It can increase the of viginal delivery shorten the duration of labor.and decrease the rate of cesarean section neonatal asphyxia and postpartum hemorrhage.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the epidemiological characteristics of allergic rhinitis (AR) in urban and rural areas of Ningbo and Yongzhou. METHOD: Fifteen fields in the two cities from October 2006 to June 2007 were randomly selected. Cases suspected with symptoms of AR by a self-administered and interview questionnaire were recommended to special examinations for confirmed diagnosis. RESULT: 1. A total of 9969 individuals from 3803 families were surveyed, of whom 303 suffered with AR. 2. The prevalence rate was 4.10% in Ningbo and 1.65% in Yongzhou (the sex-adjusted rate was 4.10% and 1.64% respectively, and the age-adjusted rate was 4.33% and 1.58%); the population of island inhabitants had the lowest prevalence rate of 0.73%. 3. The prevalence rate in patients with asthma and that with family genetic history was 8% and 12% respectively. CONCLUSION It demonstrates that the prevalence rate is higher in Ningbo than in Yongzhou, in urban than in rural and in adolescent than in other ages. Allergic rhinitis may be associated with asthma and related to genetic factors. Allergic rhinitis may be curable.
