Objective:To compare the localization accuracy of interictal 18F-FDG and 18F-flumazenil (FMZ) PET/CT imaging for focal cortical dysplasia (FCD). Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 22 patients (12 males, 10 females; age 8-36 years) with pathologically confirmed FCD who underwent surgical resection at Huashan Hospital, Fudan University from July 2021 to June 2023. All patients underwent 18F-FDG and 18F-FMZ PET/CT scans before surgery. Surgical pathological diagnosis was used as the gold standard. Visual scoring was used to analyze the images. The accuracy of the two imaging methods in the localization of FCD was compared, and subgroup analysis (FCD Ⅱa, FCD Ⅱb) of different pathological type was further performed. Paired- t test, χ2 test or Fisher′s exact test was used to analyze the data. Results:The visual score of 18F-FMZ PET/CT was higher than that of 18F-FDG (3.00±0.82 vs 2.27±0.92; t=4.17, P=0.020). The accuracy of interictal 18F-FMZ PET/CT was 77.27%(17/22), which was higher than that of 18F-FDG PET/CT (36.36%, 8/22; χ2=7.50, P=0.006). Subgroup analysis showed that within the cohort of patients diagnosed with FCD Ⅱa ( n=18), 18F-FMZ PET/CT outperformed 18F-FDG in terms of accuracy for localization (15/18 vs 6/18; P=0.006). Conclusion:Compared to 18F-FDG, 18F-FMZ PET/CT demonstrates clearer and more accurate identification of lesion borders, and exhibits higher precision, which provides valuable guidance for preoperative localization.

Objective To investigate the relationship between the biochemical markers of bone turnover and renal osteodystrophy (ROD) in patients with primary nephrotic syndrome (PNS).Methods A total of 30 patients with PNS and 50 healthy subjects (controls) were included in the study.The BMD of lumbar vertebrae and femur was measured by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry.The levels of total procollagen type Ⅰ amino-terminal propeptide (TP Ⅰ NP),β-isomerized carboxyterminal propeptide (β-CTx),intact PTH (iPTH),serum calcium,serum phosphorus,ALP,25-OH-Vitamin D3 (25-OH-VD3),β2-micro-globulin(β2-MG),and ratio of urinary to creatinine (UA/Cr) were measured and calculated.The risk factors related to ROD in PNS patients were analyzed.Two-sample t test,multiple linear regression and partial correlation analysis were used to analyze data.Results The BMD values of lumbar vertebrae and femur in the PNS group were significantly decreased compared with those in controls (t =6.162,5.583,3.891 (＜40 years),5.923,5.324,3.129 (≥40 years),all P＜0.05) and the serum levels of TPⅠNP,β-CTx,iPTH,ALP,β2-MG and UA/Cr in the PNS group were significantly higher than those in controls (t:2.738-10.129(＜40 years),3.226-12.581 (≥40 years),all P＜0.05),and the levels of serum calcium and 25-OH-VD3 in the PNS group were significantly lower than those in controls (t =3.624,7.223 (＜40 years),2.011,2.564 (≥40 years),all P＜0.05).But there was no significant difference for serum phosphorus between the 2 groups (t=0.811,0.513,both P＞0.05).TP Ⅰ NP was positively correlated with β-CTx,iPTH,ALP,UA/Cr,β2-MG(r:0.512-0.682,all P＜0.01),and TP Ⅰ NP was negatively correlated with serum calcium and 25-OH-VD3(r=-0.314,-0.562,both P＜0.01)in the PNS group.β-CTx was positively correlated with iPTH,ALP,UA./Cr,β2-MG(r:0.459-0.618,all P＜0.01),and negatively correlated with serum calcium and 25-OH-VD3(r=-0.212,-0.589,both P＜0.01).The iPTH was positively correlated with ALP,UA/Cr and β2-MG (r =0.410,0.606,0.508,all P＜0.05),and negatively correlated with serum calcium and 25-OH-VD3(r=-0.315,-0.516,both P＜0.05).Conclusions The BMD in PNS patients is lower than that in healthy subjects.Combined measurement of TP Ⅰ NP,β-CTx and the BMD is helpful for the diagnosis of ROD in PNS patients.

Objective To investigate the relationship between the single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) of disrupted in schizophrenia 1 (DISC1) gene and autism in Chinese Han children.Methods Genome-wide SNP genotyping was performed by using Illumina HumanHap CNV370-Duo Chip in 278 autistic trios,157 autistic individuals and 435 healthy controls.Genotype data of SNPs within DISC1 gene were selected.The association between these SNPs loci and autism was analyzed through case-control association analysis and family-based transmission disequilibrium test.Results Fifty-two SNPs were involved for further analysis.1.Case-control association analysis showed that 6 SNPs (rs4658939,rs2793093,rs10495309,rs2492367,rs1 1122362,rs1073179) and 7 haplotypes (AGAAAG constructed with rs823163-rs823161-rs4658933-rs1417585-rs10864693-rs6541281,GGG and AAA constructed with rs4658939-rs2793093-rs10495309,GG and AG constructed with rs2492367-rs12046794,GAA constructed with rs9432040-rs2356606-rs1 1122362 and GG constructed with rs9431714-rs1073179) had significant differences between autistic patients and controls(x2 =4.704,4.915,5.568,8.087,4.043,5.183,5.369,5.295,4.440,5.304,7.615,4.018,4.811,P =0.030,0.027,0.018,0.005,0.044,0.023,0.021,0.021,0.035,0.021,0.006,0.045,0.028).2.In the transmission disequilibrium test analysis,2 SNPs (rs4658945,rs11122362) and 2 haplotypes (AG constructed with rs10495310-rs4658945,GAA constructed with rs9432040-rs2356606-rs11122362) showed significant transmission disequilibrium(x2=4.445,5.400,3.973,5.126,P =0.035,0.020,0.046,0.024).Conclusions The polymorphism of rs11122362 and GAA haplotype constructed with rs9432040-rs2356606-rs11122362 are associated with autism,and DISC1 gene is a susceptibility gene for autism in Chinese Han children.

Objective To study the effect of the uncertain deflection of the Delta4 phantom (ScandiDos AB,Sweden) in setting up on the Gamma index passing rate during the VMAT plan verification.Methods Two patients with head and neck cancer,two with lung cancers and one with pelvic cancer receiving VMAT radiotherapy were randomly chosen.By means of Eclipse8.6 TPS the treatment plans elaborated for the five patients were picked up to make the verification plans and Delta4 was used to perform dose verification On VARIAN Clinac Ⅸ.The Delta4 phantom was precisely set up first,and then it was deflected in a given angle towards the horizontal direction in relation to the center of the linear accelerator isocenter to perform the dose verification for 11 times successively.To figure out the relationship between the deflection angle of the Delta4 phantom and the Gamma index passing rate.Results As the Delta4 phantom was deflected by 0.0°,0.2°,0.4°,0.6°,0.8°,1.0°,1.2°,1.4°,1.6°,1.8° and 2.0° in sequence,the measured Gamma index passing rates presented a slight decline,but all greater than 90％ (DD 3％,DTA 3 mm).Conclusions In the VMAT plan verification,the Gamma index passing rate of Delta4 has no dependence on the uncertain deflection of the Delta4 phantom provided that the uncertain deflection of the Delta4 phantom is no greater than 2°,but the passing rates of DD and DTA vary significantly with the uncertain deflection of the Delta4 phantom.
