Objective:s To investigate the risk factors for delayed encephalopathy after acute carbon monoxide poisoning (DEACMP) in patients with acute carbon monoxide poisoning (ACOP) and to develop predictive models based on machine learning algorithms.Methods:Patients with ACOP hospitalized at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from August 2019 to October 2024 were included, with the occurrence of DEACMP as the outcome measure. The dataset was randomly divided into training and validation sets at a ratio of 7:3. Lasso regression was used to select features influencing the outcome in training sets. Nine machine learning models—including Random Forest (RF), Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost), and Support Vector Machine (SVM)—were constructed. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were plotted and the area under the curve (AUC) calculated for each model. Calibration curves were used to assess accuracy, and decision curve analysis (DCA) was applied to evaluate clinical utility. The SHapley Additive exPlanations (SHAP) method was employed to visualize and interpret the best-performing model.Results:A total of 264 ACOP patients were included, of whom 54 (20.5%) developed DEACMP. Lasso regression identified eight key feature variables. Based on these factors, predictive models were constructed, showing good AUC stability across the nine machine learning models in both training (0.92–0.99) and validation sets (0.85–0.91). The RF model performed best, with an AUC of 0.99 in the training set and 0.90 in the validation set; its calibration curve and DCA curve also demonstrated excellent performance. SHAP analysis of the RF model revealed the importance ranking of factors from highest to lowest as follows: Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score, duration of coma, age, history of coronary heart disease, CK-MB level, monocyte count, diastolic blood pressure (DBP), and drinking history.Conclusions:The RF model exhibited the highest predictive performance for DEACMP occurrence in ACOP patients. The influencing factors, ranked in order of importance from highest to lowest, are as follows: GCS score, duration of coma, age, history of coronary heart disease, CK-MB level, monocyte count, DBP, and drinking history.

Objective The aim of this study was to collect diagnosis,treatment,and follow-up information of inpatients with malignant tumors at the Affiliated Tumor Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University,analyze the distribution and composition of malignant tumor types,mortality,and survival status,and provide reference for the prevention and treatment of malignant tumors in the local area.Methods The case and mortality data of inpatients with malignant tumor from 2010 to 2020 were calculated,and the survival status was collected by follow-up.The composition,different pathological stage,composition and sequential changes of malignant tumors,as well as survival rates of the 1-year,3-year and 5-year were analyzed.Results A total of 111,418 patients with malig-nant tumor were admitted to the hospital from 2010 to 2020.Breast cancer accounted for 20.67％of inpatients,followed by lung canc-er,thyroid cancer,cervical cancer and gastric cancer;The leading cause of malignant tumor death was lung cancer(accounting for 26.70％),followed by gastric cancer,esophageal cancer,liver cancer and colorectal cancer.The 1-year,3-year,and 5-year sur-vival rates were 87.20％,65.80％and 57.20％,respectively.The overall survival rates of patients with stages Ⅰ and Ⅱ malignant tumors were significantly higher than those of patients with stages Ⅲ and Ⅳ(P=0.003).Conclusion Breast cancer,lung cancer,thyroid cancer,cervical cancer and gastric cancer are the high incidence of malignant tumors in Xinjiang,among which thyroid cancer,breast cancer,and cervical cancer have a higher 5-year survival rate.Early screening,diagnosis and treatment of malignant tumors should be strengthened,and prevention strategies and resource allocation should be adjusted in time according to the distribution of malignant tumors to reduce the incidence and mortality of malignant tumor and improve the health level of people in Xinjiang.

Objective:To investigate the ultrasound image and pathological features of invasive fibromatosis, and to provide a basis for the diagnosis of invasive fibromatosis.Methods:The clinicopathological data of 22 patients pathologically diagnosed with invasive fibromatosis from January 2016 to March 2019 in Shanxi Provincial Cancer Hospital were retrospectively analyzed. The clinical, ultrasound and pathological data were also summarized.Results:Ultrasound images of invasive fibromatosis showed irregular morphology, unclear boundaries, uneven echo, spot-like or strip-shaped blood flow signals. The coincidence rate of ultrasound diagnosis was 59.1% (13/22), 3 cases were misdiagnosed as fibrous, fat and other sarcomas, 4 cases were misdiagnosed as nerve-derived tumors, 1 case was misdiagnosed as nodular fasciitis, and 1 case was misdiagnosed as gastrointestinal stromal tumor. The pathological characteristics of invasive fibromatosis were more typical, and the positive expression rate of vimentin and β-catenin in immunohistochemistry was 100.0% (22/22); the coincidence rate of preoperative pathological diagnosis of puncture was 78.6% (11/14), 1 case was misdiagnosed as nerve fiber tumor, 1 case was misdiagnosed as low-grade fibromyxoid sarcoma, and 1 case was misdiagnosed as nodular fasciitis.Conclusion:Invasive fibromatosis has a certain specificity in ultrasound and pathological diagnosis, which can be diagnosed and differentially diagnosed according to the ultrasound image and pathological characteristics.

Objective: To investigate the location, size, ultrasonic characteristics and clinical significances of normal parathyroid glands. Methods: A total of 350 healthy subjects with no relevant diseases in Shanxi Provincial Cancer Hospital from January 2017 to December 2017 were selected. The age ranged from 9 to 83 years old. They were divided into seven groups according to age, with 50 in each group. The position, size, shape, echo, boundary, and blood flow signal characteristics of the normal parathyroid glands in these healthy subjects examined by ultrasound were retrospectively analyzed, and the differences among the different groups were compared. Results: The detection rate of normal parathyroid glands in 350 subjects was 95.4% (1 335/1 400). The normal parathyroid glands were oval, fusiform or irregular shape hyperechoic or isoechoic nodules, with homogeneous echoes and clear borders. There was no obvious blood flow signal in most glands. The proportion of fusiform shape in upper parathyroid glands (24.4%, 161/659) was higher than that in lower parathyroid glands (18.4%, 125/676), the difference was statistically significant (χ ² = 6.99, P < 0.05). The superior parathyroid gland was mainly located in the superior thyroid region, while the inferior parathyroid gland was mainly located in the inferior thyroid region, especially within the range of 2 cm from the inferior thyroid pole. In the age ≤ 20 years old group, the proportion of patients with upper parathyroid gland in the upper thyroid region (80.4%, 74/92) was higher than that in the other age groups, and the proportion of patients with lower parathyroid gland in the subthyroid region (30.6%, 30/98) was higher than that in the other age groups, the difference was statistically significant (χ ² = 3.35, P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the size of parathyroid gland among different age groups (P > 0.05). Conclusions The detection rate of normal parathyroid glands is high, and they mainly located in the upper and lower thyroid regions within 2 cm from the lower margin of the thyroid. Ultrasound images are mainly characterized by the clear elliptical shape and the uniform high echo. The ultrasonic characteristics of normal parathyroid glands are conducive to preoperative localization of parathyroid glands and provides a reliable basis for finding and retaining parathyroid glands in thyroid surgery.

Objective:To evaluate the safety of cardiac catheterization intervention therapy and transthoracic small incision surgery in the occlusion bydomestic occluder under echocardiography guiding in patients with atrial septal defect (ASD).Methods:A total of 1 080 patients with ASD in the occlusion by domestic occluder were analyzed retrospectively,and the interventional treatment were performed in 734 cases through cardiac catheterization intervention therapy and 346 cases through transthoracic small incision surgery.The patients undergone cardiac catheterization intervention therapy were guided under the digital substraction angiography (DSA) and were monitored by transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) in the whole interventional process,and the efficacy was evaluated with TTE.The occlusion of transthoracic small incision surgery was guided under the transesophageal echocardiography (TEE),which was used to monitor the position of occluder and evaluate the efficacy immediately.Results:Two kinds of intervention in the occlusion by domestic occluder had achieved satisfactory results in patients with ASD.There was no statistically difference in the longest size of ASD between the 2 intervention methods,while there were statistically differences in the ratio between ASD longest diameter and atrial septal length,and the size of the occlusion,and the disparity between the size of the occluder and ASD longest diameter (D value),respectively (all P＜0.05).When the size of arithmetic mean of the ASD was ＜30 mm,the success rate of the 2 methods was both 100％.When the size of arithmetic mean of the ASD was ≥ 30 mm,the success rate was 100％ in the transthoracic small incision surgery and 50％ in the cardiac catheterization intervention therapy.Conclusion:Domestic occluder is safe.Compared with the imported one,its cost is lower.When the size of the defects is same,the occlusion is smaller in the transthoracic small incision surgery compared with that in the cardiac catheterization intervention therapy.When the size of arithmetic mean of the ASD is ≥ 30 mm,the success rate of the transthoracic small incision surgery is higher compared with the cardiac catheterization intervention therapy.When the cardiac catheterization intervention therapy fails,the transthoracic small incision surgery may be a better choice.

A new urine analysis core module based on high performance 32-bit microprocessor and high precision color sensor was presented. A novel optical structure and a specific circuit were applied to improve measurement precision and temperature was used to compensate for results in this core module. The information of urine test peice, such as all original data and color RGB value, reflectivity, semi-quantitative level, etc. can be output. The results showed that the measuring precision was about 95% or above with ideal stability and reliability using this presented core module, which can be conveniently applied in various urine analyzers, and can greatly decrease the cost of urine analyzers in development and production.

Objective To study the effect of gastrin, motilin of chronic atrophic gastritis model in rats by acupuncturing at back-shu points. Methods 60 SD rats were randomly divided into blank control group, model control group, omeprazole group, back-shu points group, with 15 rats in each group, and to establish the model of chronic atrophic gastritis by irregular diet that given rats odd and even days. The blank control group, model control group were fed with normal saline, 2ml/time, 1 time/day. The omeprazole group was given oral gavage(Omeprazole 0.44 mg/kg, Clarithromycin 6.92 mg/kg, Metronidazole 7.6 mg/kg), 1 time/day. Back-shu points group received acupuncture at “Geshu”“Ganshu”“Pishu”“Weishu”“Shenshu”, retaining 15 min, 1 time/day. After 30 days, the content of ELSIA was used to detect the serum gastrin, motilin. Results ①GAS of model control group(54.25±5.70)pg/ml was significantly decreased compared with blank control group(66.63± 5.99)pg/ml, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Compared with the model control group, GAS content of omeprazole group(62.70±8.55)pg/ml and back-shu Points group(66.27±3.79)pg/ml were higher, showed significant differences(P<0.05). ②MOT of model control group(223.60±17.83)pg/ml was significantly increased compared with the blank control group(188.45 ± 8.90)pg/ml, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). MOT of omeprazole group(200.16 ± 4.38)pg/ml and back-shu Points group(190.11±10.04)pg/ml were lower than those in the model control group, there was statistically significant difference(P<0.05). Conclusion Acupuncturing at back-shu acupoints can increase the content of GAS, reduce content of MOT, regulate gastrointestinal hormone in rats of chronic atrophic gastritis model.

Objective To explore the effect of pain intervention on limb function exercises in patients with peripheric fractures of knee joint.Methods 60 patients with peripheric fractures of knee joint were randomized in equal number into the observation group and control group.Both groups took functional exercises for affected limbs.Besides,the former and latter groups were administered with celecoxib at a dosage of 200mg twice a day from pre-operation to discharge and after operation,respectively.The two groups were compared in terms of pain degree at different time points as well as the functional recovery of affected limbs.Results The observation group was lower in pain scores than the control group at hours 6,8,12,24,36 and 48.The active and passive motions of the affected limbs in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control at days 1,2,3,4 and 5(all P<0.001).Conclusion Pain intervention with celecoxib before operation may help patients to take functional exercises as early as possible,promoting the rehabilitation of functions of affected limbs.
