BACKGROUND:Nanogels can combine the properties of nanoparticles and hydrogels,which have multiple advantages and can play a great role in clinical translation.OJECTIVE:To summarize the self-and cross-linking properties of nanogels,the diagnostic and therapeutic integration strategies they played in a variety of imaging processes,in conjunction with their functional visualization and application properties.METHODS:By searching PubMed,Web of Science,CNKI,and Wanfang databases,English and Chinese search terms were"nanogel,nanohydrogel,imaging,magnetic resonance imaging,fluorescence imaging,ultrasound imaging,photoacoustic imaging,multimodal imaging,therapy,treatment."According to the inclusion criteria,78 articles were finally selected for review.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The preparation process of nanogels is significantly affected by their multiple properties and cross-linking mechanisms.Optimization of these properties and mechanisms can help to improve their structural performance and accelerate the translation of their clinical applications.With the trend of integrated diagnosis and treatment,functional visualization of nanogels can effectively image tumors with the help of magnetic resonance imaging,fluorescence imaging,ultrasonography,photoacoustic imaging,and multimodal imaging,which can be of key value in the treatment strategies of various diseases.These findings not only pave the way for improving the preparation methods of nanogels,but also create a robust groundwork for hastening their clinical translation.

3.The correlation between the levels of APC,TXB2,and sB7-H3 in peripheral blood of elderly patients with pneumonia and the severity and prognosis of the disease

Objective To investigate the correlation between the levels of activated protein C(APC),thromboxane B2(TXB2),and soluble B7-H3(sB7-H3)in the peripheral blood of elderly patients with pneumonia and the severity as well as prognosis of the disease.Methods One hundred elderly pneumonia patients admitted to our hospital from March 2022 to June 2024 were enrolled as the study group,and 100 healthy volunteers during the same period were selected as the control group.The levels of APC,TXB2,and sB7-H3 in peripheral blood were com-pared between the two groups.Study group patients were further categorized into low-risk,medium-risk,and high-risk subgroups based on the CURB-65 score(Confusion,Uremia,Respiratory rate,Blood pressure,Age≥65 years).The levels of APC,TXB2,and sB7-H3 in peripheral blood were compared among patients with varying disease severities.Pearson correlation analysis was performed to evaluate the correlation between the levels of APC,TXB2,and sB7-H3 in peripheral blood and disease severity.The study group was followed up for 30 days and subsequently divided into good prognosis and poor prognosis subgroups according to their clinical outcomes.Clinical data and peripheral blood levels of APC,TXB2,and sB7-H3 were compared between patients with different prognoses.Partial correlation analysis was conducted to assess the relationship between peripheral blood levels of APC,TXB2,and sB7-H3 and prognosis.Finally,the predictive value of these biomarkers was evaluated using the Receiver Oper-ating Characteristic(ROC)curve.Results The level of APC in the peripheral blood of the study group was signifi-cantly lower than that of the control group,whereas the levels of TXB2 and sB7-H3 were significantly higher(P<0.05).The severity of the disease in the study group was assessed using the CURB-65 score,which categorized patients into 33 mild cases,39 moderate cases,and 28 severe cases.Severe patients exhibited a lower level of APC in peripheral blood compared to moderate and mild patients.Additionally,the levels of TXB2 and sB7-H3 in moderate patients were higher than those in mild patients,while severe patients demonstrated even higher levels of TXB2 and sB7-H3 compared to both moderate and mild patients(P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis revealed that peripheral blood APC was negatively correlated with the CURB-65 score,whereas TXB2 and sB7-H3 were positively correlated with the CURB-65 score(P<0.05).During a 30-day follow-up period,the research team identified 79 patients with good prognoses and 21 patients with poor prognoses.Significant differences were observed in diabetes prevalence,disease severity,and APACHEⅡ scores between the poor prognosis subgroup and the good prognosis subgroup(P<0.05).The levels of APC in peripheral blood were significantly lower in the poor prognosis subgroup compared to the good prognosis subgroup,whereas the levels of TXB2 and sB7-H3 were significantly higher(P<0.05).Partial correlation analysis revealed that peripheral blood APC,TXB2,and sB7-H3 were significantly associ-ated with prognosis(P<0.05).The AUC values for predicting the prognosis of elderly pneumonia patients using peripheral blood APC,TXB2,and sB7-H3 were 0.752,0.738,and 0.761,respectively,with sensitivities of 66.67%,76.19%,and 66.67%,and specificities of 78.48%,67.09%,and 78.48%.When combining these three indicators for prognostic prediction,the AUC increased to 0.918,with a sensitivity of 85.71%and a specificity of 87.34%,demonstrating a significant improvement in predictive accuracy compared to each indicator used alone(Z=2.207,2.666,2.109,P=0.027,0.008,0.035).Conclusion The levels of APC,TXB2,and sB7-H3 in the peripheral blood of elderly patients with pneumonia are significantly associated with the severity and prognosis of the disease.Combined detection of these biomarkers can serve as a reliable predictor of clinical outcomes.

5.Effects of music relaxation training combined with Huangqi Jianzhong Decoction oral administration and foot bathing on fatigue status and quality of life in patients with cancer related fatigue

Objective:To explore the effect of music relaxation training combined with Huangqi Jianzhong Decoction oral administration and foot bath on fatigue status and quality of life in patients with cancer related fatigue.Methods:A total of 90 patients with cancer related fatigue in our hospital from January 2019 to October 2020 were selected. The patients were divided into 2 groups by random number table method, with 45 in each group. Both groups were given health and diet education. The control group was given music relaxation training, and the observation group took Huangqi Jianzhong Decoction oral administration and foot bathing on the basis of the control group. Both groups have a course of treatment of 4 weeks, a total of 3 courses. The TCM syndrome scores were observed before and after treatment, and the Piper Fatigue Score (PFS) was used to evaluate fatigue status, and the Karnofsky functional state score was used to evaluate the quality of life of patients, evaluation of clinical efficacy.Results:After treatment, 43 patients in the observation group and 42 patients in the control group were analyzed. The total effective rate of the observation group was 83.72% (36/43), which was significantly higher than 64.29% (27/42) of the control group ( χ2=4.18, P=0.041). After treatment, the TCM syndrome scores in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group ( t=2.48, P=0.015). After treatment, the Karnofsky functional state score in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group ( t=2.83, P=0.006). After treatment, the emotion score (4.35±1.02 vs. 5.03±1.01, t=3.09), feeling score (4.31±1.06 vs. 5.00±1.02, t=3.06) and total score (4.23±1.07 vs. 4.87±1.10, t=2.72) in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group ( P<0.01). Conclusion:Music relaxation training combined with Huangqi Jianzhong Decoction oral administration and foot bathing can alleviate the fatigue state of CRF patients and improve the quality of life.
6.Relationship between preoperative long-term sleep disorder and postoperative hyperalgesia in patients undergoing cardiac surgery

Objective:To evaluate the relationship between preoperative long-term sleep disorder and postoperative hyperalgesia in the patients undergoing cardiac surgery.Methods:One hundred and eighty-one adult patients of both sexes, aged 18 yr, undergoing elective cardiac valve surgery under cardiopulmonary bypass with general anesthesia, were enrolled in this study.On 1st day before surgery, the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index questionnaire was used to assess the patient′s sleep quality in the last month.When Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index score was more than 5, the patient was considered to have long-term sleep disorder.Postoperative analgesia was performed with sufentanil.Patients were divided into 2 groups according to the numeric rating scale (NRS) score: non-hyperalgesia group (NHA group, NRS score <4) and hyperalgesia group (HA group, NRS score ≥4). A multivariate logistic regression was used to identify the risk factors associated with postoperative hyperalgesia.Results:The results of logistic regression analysis found that smoking and preoperative long-term sleep disorder were independent risk factors for postoperative hyperalgesia.Conclusion:Preoperative long-term sleep disorder may induce hyperalgesia after cardiac surgery in patients.
7.Effect of aminophylline on efficacy of extubation under ultra-fast track anesthesia in pediatric pa-tients with congenital heart disease undergoing surgical correction of anomaly

Objective To evaluate the effect of aminophylline on the efficacy of extubation under ultra-fast track anesthesia ( UFTA) in pediatric patients with congenital heart disease ( CHD) undergoing surgical correction of anomaly. Methods Ninety American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status Ⅰor Ⅱ pediatric patients, aged<6 yr, undergoing surgical correction of anomaly, were randomized into 3 groups ( n=30 each) using a random number table method: group Ⅰ, group Ⅱ and group Ⅲ. After the end of surgery, normal saline was given in groupⅠ, 1 mg∕kg aminophylline was given in groupⅡ, and 2 mg∕kg aminophylline was given in groupⅢ. The condition of extubation in the operating room and respirato-ry rate at extubation were recorded. Mean arterial pressure, heart rate and bispectral index value were re-corded at the end of surgery, and at 9 and 15 min after administration. Results Compared with groupⅠ, the rate of successful extubation in the operating room, BIS value at 9 min after administration and respira-tory rate at extubation were significantly increased inⅡand Ⅲ groups ( P<0. 05) . There was no significant difference in the parameters mentioned above between group Ⅱand group Ⅲ ( P>0. 05 ) . Conclusion Aminophylline can increase the efficacy of extubation under UFTA in pediatric patients with CHD undergoing surgical correction of anomaly, and 1 mg is the recommended dose.
8.The prevalence of metabolic syndrome among adults in rural areas of Ningxia Hui autonomous region

Objective To investigate the prevalence of metabolic syndrome (MS) among adults in rural areas of Ningxia Hui autonomous region.Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted in 10 639 adults enrolled with a multistage method from Jingyuan County.The MS was identified according to Chinese type 2 diabetes prevention guide (2013).Results Among all the subjects, 17.4% of them met the MS definition with the standardized prevalence of 14.7% after adjustment of sex and age.The prevalence and standardized rate of MS in men were 19.9% and 17.3%, and in women were 15.3% and 13.5%.The prevalence of MS in men was higher than that in women(P<0.001) and increased with aging in both genders.The prevalence and standardized rate of abdominal obesity,hyperglycemia,hypertension,high triglycerides,and low HDL-C were 19.5% and 16.7%, 15.0% and 12.9%, 42.0% and 37.1%, 25.8% and 23.1%, 28.5% and 27.7%,respectively.The rate of abdominal obesity was higher in women than in men (20.5% vs 18.2%, P=0.004), whereas the rate of hypertension, high triglycerides, and low HDL-C were higher in men than in women (all P<0.01).The prevalence of having one parameter of the MS was 68.4%.Conclusion The prevalence of MS is higher in rural areas of Ningxia Hui autonomous region, suggesting that a series of comprehensive prevention measures should be carried out to prevent and control the MS so as to improve the public health conditions in rural areas.
9.Effects of Ultra-fast Track Anesthesia on Blood Levels of C-reactive Protein and Procalcitonin in Patients After Pediatric Cardiac Surgery

Objective: To compare the effects of ultra-fast track anesthesia and traditional anesthesia on blood levels of high sensitivity C-reactive protein (Hs-CRP), C-reactive protein (CRP) and procalcitonin (PCT) in patients after pediatric cardiac surgery.
Methods: A total of 101 patients received pediatric cardiovascular surgery by a same anesthesiologist in our hospital from 2013-09 to 2014-05 were retrospectively reviewed. The patients were studied in 2 anesthesia groups:Ultra-fast track group, in which the extubation was conducted in operating room, n=40 and Traditional group, n=44. Blood levels of Hs-CRP, CRP and PCT at pre-operation (T0), 1st day post-operation (T1) and 2nd day post-operation (T2) were compared.
Results: ①Hs-CRP levels were higher at T1 and T2 than T0 in both groups, all P<0.05;Hs-CRP level in Ultra-fast track group was lower than Traditional group at T1 time point, P<0.05. ②CRP levels were similar among 3 time points in Ultra-fast track group;while in Traditional group, CRP level at T2 was higher than T1, P<0.05; CRP level was higher in Traditional group than Ultra-fast track group at T2, P<0.05.③PCT levels at 3 time points were similar in the same group;while PCT level in Ultra-fast track group was lower than Traditional group at T1 time point, P<0.05.
Conclusion: Compared With traditional anesthesia, ultra-fast track anesthesia could decrease the post-operative elevations of Hs-CRP, CRP and PCT in patients after pediatric cardiac surgery.
10.Clinical Observation of Alteplase Intravenous Thrombolysis in the Treatment of Acute Cerebral Infarction

OBJECTIVE:To observe the bleeding,therapeutic efficacy and ADR of patients with acute cerebral infarction (ACI) treated by alteplase intravenous thrombolysis. METHODS:140 ACI patients were randomly divided into group A and B with 70 cases in each group. Group A was give alteplase 0.6 mg/kg for intravenous thrombolytic therapy,and group B was given al-teplase 0.9 mg/kg for intravenous thrombolytic therapy. The bleeding after thrombolysis,bleeding time,therapeutic efficacy and ADR were compared between 2 groups. RESULTS:The incidence of Subcutaneous ecchymosis,gingival bleeding,bleeding of di-gestive tract and intracranial hemorrhage of group A were 4.29%,2.86%,2.86% and 2.86%;those of group B were 14.29%, 12.86%,11.43% and 11.43%;the bleeding time of those symptomsin 2 groups were(6.04±0.75)and(7.22±0.56)h、(24.63± 10.24)and(35.22±9.87)min、(3.04±0.11)and(4.08±0.25)h、(3.12±0.48)和(4.53±0.66)h respectirely,with statistical signifi-cance(P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in therapeutic efficacy and ADR between 2 groups after treatment(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:The bleeding should be monitored strictly when ACI patients receive alteplase intravenous thrombolysis,and low-dose alteplase thrombolysis can ultimately reduce the incidence of bleeding.
