Objective:To explore the application value of ultrasonic measurement of the pubic symphysis distance in predicting pubic symphysis diastasis(PSD) during delivery.Methods:A total of 262 pregnant women from June 2021 to July 2022 who delivered at Suzhou Wuzhong People′s Hospital and Jiangyin People′s Hospital were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were divided into PSD group of 26 cases and normal pregnant women group (control group) of 234 cases according to whether or not PSD was confirmed during postpartum follow-up. Relevant data of the two groups were collected, including the biparietal diameter and femoral length of the fetus within 7 days before delivery, the pubic symphysis distance of pregnant women when the cervix was not dilated, pubic symphysis distance when the cervix dilated to 5 cm during the first stage of delivery, and the pubic symphysis distance after delivery, the age of the pregnant woman, the gestational week, the number of pregnancies, and the birth weight of the fetus. The differences of the above relevant data between the two groups were compared.Spearman correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between various parameters. The occurrence of postpartum PSD, and Logistic regression was used to analyze the predictive value of various parameters on the occurrence of postpartum PSD. ROC curve was used to analyze the diagnostic efficacy of each parameters to predict PSD.Results:The fetal birth weight, number of pregnancies, pubic symphysis distance in three time points in the PSD group were significantly higher than those in the control group (all P<0.05). The age of the pregnant women was negatively correlated with the occurrence of postpartum PSD ( rs=-0.152, P=0.014). The fetal birth weight, the number of pregnancies, the pubic symphysis distance in the cervix no-dilated and the first stage of labor were positively correlated with the occurrence of postpartum PSD( rs=0.160, 0.166, 0.678, 0.581, all P<0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that the increase of pubic symphysis distance before labor would increase the risk of postpartum PSD, and the difference was statistically significant ( OR=2 506.028, 95% CI=14.293-439 402.630, P=0.003). The increase of pubic symphysis distance at the first stage of labor increased the risk of postpartum PSD, with a statistically significant difference ( OR=10 704.027, 95% CI=33.830-3 386 803.429, P=0.002). The ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve of the pubic symphysis distance in the cervix no-dilated and the first stage of labor for the diagnosis of PSD were 0.896 and 0.917 respectively, the sensitivity were 0.731 and 0.885, the specificity were 0.940 and 0.829, and the corresponding critical values were 0.87 cm and 1.06 cm respectively. The area under the curve of the combination of the two parameters for the diagnosis of PSD was 0.930, the sensitivity was 0.885, and the specificity was 0.876. Conclusions:Ultrasonic measurement of pubic symphysis distance during delivery can predict the occurrence of postpartum PSD in pregnant women and can provide a basis for the occurrence and treatment of postpartum pubic symphysis separation in pregnant women.

[Abstract] Objective: To investigate the effects of salidroside on the proliferation, invasion and apoptosis of cervical squamous cell carcinoma C33A cells and explore its possible mechanism. Methods: C33A cells were divided into 4 groups: control group, low-dose group (salidroside 50 μg/mL), high-dose group (salidroside 150 μg/mL), and AG490 group (inhibitor of JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway, 50 μmol/L). Effects of salidroside and AG490 on the proliferation, invasion and apoptosis of C33A cells were detected by MTT method, EdU labeling experiment, Transwell assay, Rh123 staining and Flow cytometry, respectively. Western blotting was used to detect the effects of salidroside and AG490 on the expressions of JAK2/STAT3 pathway-related proteins (p-JAK2, p-STAT3) and apoptosis-related proteins (Bax, Bcl-2, caspase-3) in C33A cells. Result: Compared with the control group, the proliferation and DNA synthesis as well as the invasion of C33Acells in the low-dose group were significantly inhibited (all P<0.05), while the apoptosis was significantly enhanced (P<0.05); in the meanwhile, the fluorescence intensity of Rh123 was significantly reduced (all P<0.05) and the membrane structure of C33A cells were destroyed; moreover, the expressions of p-JAK2, p-STAT3 and Bcl-2 were significantly decreased while the expressions of Bax and caspase-3 were significantly increased (all P<0.05). Compared with the low-dose group, the effects of high-dose salidroside and AG490 on the proliferation, invasion, apoptosis and related protein expressions in C33A cells were more significant (all P<0.05), but there was no difference between the high-dose group and the AG490 group. Conclusion: Salidroside can inhibit the proliferation and invasion of C33A cells and promote cell apoptosis. Its mechanism may be related to inhibition of JAK2/ STAT3 signaling pathway.

Objective To present the technique of super-minimally invasive bilateral thoracoscopic extended thymectomy,and evaluate the early clinical results by using of this technique.Methods Twenty-three patients with myasthenia gravis (MG) with thymoma underwent with super-minimally invasive bilateral thoracoscopic extended thymectomy in our institution between July 2014 and January 2016.Two operate-poles are 5mm trocar,one is three intercostal space at the anterior axillary line,and the other is four intercostal space at the midclavicular line.A 10 mm trocar is inserted through the 6th intercostal space in the mid axillary line.The perioperative variables and outcomes were collected and analysed retrospectively.Results In the 23 patients who underwent Super-Minimally invasive bilateral thoracoscopic extended thymectomy,the mean operation time was (163.2 ± 14.4) min and the average blood loss was (148.2 ± 39.5) ml.The chest tube duration was (4.14 ± 0.27) days.There were no mortalities.Conclusion Our preliminary report showed that Super-Minimally invasive bilateral thoracoscopic extended thymectomy for mediastinal tumour resection was a promising and safe technique with regard to short-term clinical outcome.

Objective To determine equilibrium solubility and apparent oil/water partition coefficient of ephedra alkaloid in the compatibility Ephedrae Herba-Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata; To provide a basis for transdermal delivery.Methods The extract was prepared by 70% ethyl alcohol and D101 macroporous absorbent resins. Dissolvability of its main effective components (ephedrine and pseudoephedrine) in the compatibility Ephedrae Herba-Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata was determined by precipitation method and HPLC method; the oil/water partition coefficient of ephedrine and pseudoephedrine in n-octanol-water buffer solution system were determined by shaking flask method.Results The extract had optimum solubility in methyl alcohol and acetonitrile, and ephedrine and pseudoephedrine had optimum solubility in buffered solution of pH 7.4. Oil/water partition coefficient of ephedrine and pseudoephedrine in n-octanol-water system was 0.101 with lgP=-0.99 and 0.076 with lgP=-1.12. Oil-water partition coefficients of ephedrine and pseudoephedrine in the extract were affected by pH.Conclusion The extract has optimum solubility in high polar solvents. Ephedrine and pseudoephedrine have certain fatsoluble and water-soluble in suitable pH, which was beneficial for transdermal absorption.

Objective This study is to investigate the influences of USP7 on the cytobiological characteristics of laryngeal cancer cells by small interfering RNA (siRNA) interfering the USP7 expression in the laryngeal cancer cells .Methods The self‐de‐signed highly efficient siRNA was used to conduct the specific interference on USP7 expression in laryngeal cancer HEP2 cells . Then the influence on the capacity of cell proliferation and migration ,as well as apoptosise after USP7 interference were observed by using the CCK‐8 method ,Transwell chamber migration test and flow cytometry .Results The self‐designed siRNA could effi‐ciently inhibit the expression of USP7 mRNA in laryngeal cancer cells ,furthermore markedly suppressed the proliferation and mi‐gration of laryngeal cancer cells ,enhanced the cell apoptosis in laryngeal cancer HEP2 cells in vitro .Conclusion The siRNA inter‐fering USP7 can inhibit the proliferation and migration capacity of laryngeal cancer cells ,and promoted their apoptosis .

Background and purpose:High expression of excision repair cross-complementing 1 (ERCC1) is related to resistance in patients treated with platinum-containing regimens. The ERCC1 antibody 8F1 was usually used in past studies, but it was found to have no-speciifcity recently. This study aimed to investigate the predictive role of a new ERCC1 antibody 4F9 to platinum chemotherapy in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients. Methods:Expression of ERCC1 was detected using antibody 4F9 by immunohistochemistry (IHC) in 72 NSCLC tissues. The relationship between the expression of ERCCl and the clinical pathological parameters, the efficacy of platinum chemotherapy and overall survival of patients were explored by statistical analysis. Results: The high expression of ERCCl protein was 55.5%in 72 cases. There was no signiifcant correlation between the ERCC1 expression with gender, age, pathological type, clinical stage and lymphatic metastasis (P>0.05). Patients with low expression of ERCC1 had signiifcantly higher response rates to platinum chemotherapy, longer median survival time and 2-years survival rate comparing with those with high expression of ERCC1 (62.5%vs 37.5%;22.9 vs 18.4 month;46.9%vs 37.5%), respectively (P<0.05). Conclusion:The expression analysis of ERCC1 using new ERCC1 antibody 4F9 by IHC method is helpful to assign chemotherapeutic regimen, and guide individual platinum chemotherapy for post-operation patients.

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) in preoperative diagnosis of anal fistula. Methods Forty-five patients with fistula in ano were evaluated by physical examination, then CEUS were peformed by injecting SonoVue through the external opening to enhance the detection of the fistulous track and the internal opening. The results of CEUS were matched with surgical features to establish their accuracy in preoperative assessment of anal fistula. Results Simple typing fistula was found in 19 of 45 patients and 26 patients had complex fistulas. The accurate diagnostic rates by conventional ultrasound of simple typing fistula and complex fistulas were 89. 5% and 61.5%,respectively,the accurate diagnostic rates by CEUS of simple typing fistula and complex fistulas were 94. 7% and 92.3%, respectively, there was no significant difference between conventional ultrasound and CEUS about simple typing fistula( P ＞0.05), and there was significant difference about complex fistulas ( P ＜0. 05). Conclusions CEUS has a good visibility and accurate rate for diagnosis of anal fistula,It plays an important role for operation.
