1.Development and validation of an Assessment Scale of Proactive Health Behavior Ability for the Disabled Elderly in Nursing Homes

Objective To develop the assessment scale of proactive health behavior ability for the disabled elderly in nursing homes and to test its reliability and validity.Methods The first draft of the scale was formed by literature review,qualitative interviews and Delphi method.From December 2023 to March 2024,525 disabled elderly people from 9 nursing homes in Sichuan Province and Chongqing City were selected as the survey subjects,and item analysis and reliability and validity test were carried out on the scale.30 disabled elderly people were re-investigated after 2 weeks to calculate the retest reliability of the scale.Results The scale consisted of 4 dimensions and 27 items.Exploratory factor analysis extracted 4 common factors,with the cumulative vanance contribution rate of 65.992%,and confirmatory factor analysis showed that the modified model fitting index was within acceptable range.The content validity index at item level was 0.917-1.000,and that at scale level was 0.997.The Cronbach's α coefficient,test-retest reliability and split-half reliability of the total scale were 0.944,0.997 and 0.882,respectively.Conclusion The scale has good reliability and validity,and it can be used to evaluate the proactive health behavior ability of the disabled elderly in nursing homes.
2.Practice and exploration of whole scene intelligent management of medical insurance in public hospitals

With the reform of medical insurance payment mode and the promotion of medical insurance policy, medical insurance management has become the core of public hospital operation and management. According to the business scenario of medical insurance management in public hospitals, medical insurance intelligent management can be divided into three levels: automatic medical insurance intelligent management engine based on rules, digital medical insurance management assistance based on dialogue user interface and hospital medical insurance management brain based on deep learning. In August 2020, under the requirements of hospital intelligent management standards, a tertiary hospital broke through the traditional medical insurance management mode to launch the practice of digital enabled panoramic scene intelligent management of medical insurance, which included medical insurance intelligent business audit, medical insurance intelligent reconciliation, medical insurance intelligent cost control and medical insurance intelligent management cockpit. These measures had realized the intellectualization and standardization of medical insurance management and improved the overall operation efficiency of the hospital.
3.Research progress and clinical application of the third- generation sequencing techniques.

The Sanger sequencing techniques, also known as the first-generation sequencing techniques and the gold standard of sequencing, have promoted the completion of "working draft" of the human genome, but the disadvantages of low throughput and high cost limit its large-scale application. The second-generation sequencing techniques, also known as the next-generation sequencing techniques, have widely used in basic research and clinical application because of its high throughput and low cost, but the short reads has always been an unavoidable shortcoming. Then, the emergence of the third-generation sequencing techniques, with the long reads, provides new technology selection for the analysis of complex repetitive regions on genome sequences and the assembly of high-quality genomes. In recent years, the third-generation sequencing techniques have been further developed, and have gradually demonstrated the clinical application value. This article reviewed the research progress and clinical application of the third-generation sequencing techniques.

4.Application of scaffolding education in the nursing teaching of infectious diseases in the post-epidemic era

Objective:To explore the effect of applying scaffolding teaching to infectious disease teaching.Methods:The study selected 259 undergraduate nursing students of Batch 2017 as the research objects, and they were randomly divided into an experimental group (126 students) and a control group (133 students) according to the odd and even numbers of their student numbers. The experimental group carried out scaffolding teaching, and the control group adopted traditional teaching. After the teaching, the two groups of students were assessed on the theory of infectious diseases and scenario simulation excercises. The teaching satisfaction of the two groups was assessed through questionnaire surveys. SPSS was used for t test and chi-square test. Results:The experimental group's theoretical assessment and scenario simulation excercises scores were both higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05). The results of the questionnaire survey showed that the experimental group students were more satisfied with the scaffolding teaching model [80.2% (101/126)], which was higher than that of the control group [54.1% (72/133)], with statistically significant differences ( P<0.001). Conclusion:Scaffolding teaching is helpful to improve teaching quality and satisfaction in infectious disease teaching, and it is worthy of further promotion and application in educational practice.
5.A Preoperative Nomogram for Predicting Chemoresistance to Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy in Patients with Locally Advanced Cervical Squamous Carcinoma Treated with Radical Hysterectomy

Purpose:
This study aimed to investigate the factors associated with chemoresistance to neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) followed by radical hysterectomy (RH) and construct a nomogram to predict the chemoresistance in patients with locally advanced cervical squamous carcinoma (LACSC).
Materials and Methods:
This retrospective study included 516 patients with International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (2003) stage IB2 and IIA2 cervical cancer treated with NACT and RH between 2007 and 2017. Clinicopathologic data were collected, and patients were assigned to training (n=381) and validation (n=135) sets. Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to analyze factors associated with chemoresistance to NACT. A nomogram was built using the multivariate logistic regression analysis results. We evaluated the discriminative ability and accuracy of the model using a concordance index and a calibration curve. The predictive probability of chemoresistance to NACT was defined as > 34%.
Results:
Multivariate analysis confirmed menopausal status, clinical tumor diameter, serum squamous cell carcinoma antigen level, and parametrial invasion on magnetic resonance imaging before treatment as independent prognostic factors associated with chemoresistance to NACT. The concordance indices of the nomogram for training and validation sets were 0.861 (95% confidence interval [CI], 0.822 to 0.900) and 0.807 (95% CI, 0.807 to 0.888), respectively. Calibration plots revealed a good fit between the modelpredicted probabilities and actual probabilities (Hosmer-Lemeshow test, p=0.597). Furthermore, grouping based on the nomogram was associated with progression-free survival.
Conclusion
We developed a nomogram for predicting chemoresistance in LACSC patients treated with RH. This nomogram can help physicians make clinical decisions regarding primary management and postoperative follow-up of the patients.

OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the incidence rate and risk factors for metabolic bone disease of prematurity (MBDP) in very low birth weight/extremely low birth weight (VLBW/ELBW) infants.
METHODS:
The medical data of 61 786 neonates from multiple centers of China between September 1, 2013 and August 31, 2016 were retrospectively investigated, including 504 VLBW/ELBW preterm infants who met the inclusion criteria. Among the 504 infants, 108 infants diagnosed with MBDP were enrolled as the MBDP group and the remaining 396 infants were enrolled as the non-MBDP group. The two groups were compared in terms of general information of mothers and preterm infants, major diseases during hospitalization, nutritional support strategies, and other treatment conditions. The multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to investigate the risk factors for MBDP.
RESULTS:
The incidence rate of MBDP was 19.4% (88/452) in VLBW preterm infants and 38.5% (20/52) in ELBW preterm infants. The incidence rate of MBDP was 21.7% in preterm infants with a gestational age of < 32 weeks and 45.5% in those with a gestational age of < 28 weeks. The univariate analysis showed that compared with the non-MBDP group, the MBDP group had significantly lower gestational age and birth weight, a significantly longer length of hospital stay, and a significantly higher incidence rate of extrauterine growth retardation (
CONCLUSIONS
A lower gestational age, hypocalcemia, extrauterine growth retardation at discharge, and neonatal sepsis may be associated an increased risk of MBDP in VLBW/ELBW preterm infants. It is necessary to strengthen perinatal healthcare, avoid premature delivery, improve the awareness of the prevention and treatment of MBDP among neonatal pediatricians, and adopt positive and reasonable nutrition strategies and comprehensive management measures for preterm infants.

Huang-Qin Decoction (HQD) is a classic prescription for diarrhea in Chinese medicine treatment. Recent studies have demonstrated that HQD and its modified formulation PHY906 could ameliorate irinotecan (CPT-11) induced gastrointestinal (GI) toxicity and enhance its anticancer therapeutic efficacy. Objective:
To assess the association of socioeconomic status with the burden of cataract blindness in terms of year lived with disability (YLD) rates and to determine whether ultraviolet radiation (UVR) levels modify the effect of socioeconomic status on this health burden.
Methods:
National and subnational age-standardized YLD rates associated with cataract-related blindness were derived from the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) study 2017. The human development index (HDI) from the Human Development Report was used as a measure of socioeconomic status. Estimated ground-level UVR exposure was obtained from the Ozone Monitoring Instrument (OMI) dataset of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
Results:
Across 185 countries, socioeconomic status was inversely associated with the burden of cataract blindness. Countries with a very high HDI had an 84% lower age-standardized YLD rate [95% confidence interval (

Abstract
During the yellow fever epidemic in Angola in 2016, cases of yellow fever were reported in China for the first time. The
11 cases, all Chinese nationals returning from Angola, were identified in March and April 2016, one to two weeks after
the peak of the Angolan epidemic. One patient died; the other 10 cases recovered after treatment. This paper reviews the
epidemiological characteristics of the 11 yellow fever cases imported into China. It examines case detection and disease
control and surveillance, and presents recommendations for further action to prevent additional importation of yellow fever
into China.

Radiation-induced dermatitis (RD) is one of the most common complications induced by radiotherapy in cancer patients.The incidence and severity of RD are largely associated with the risk factors of patients.RD can severely affect the quality of life,even discontinue the treatment and reduce the tumor control rate in severe patients.Currently,randomized control trials evaluating the preventive measures for acute RD have been rarely conducted.The clinical interventions for acute RD significantly vary.In this article,the pathogenesis,risk factors,clinical manifestations,evaluation,prevention and treatment of RD were investigated.
