Objective:To identify the multidimensional health management needs of young and middle-aged women with breast cancer based on a patient journey map, with the aim of improving prognosis and quality of life in this population. Methods:A descriptive qualitative research approach was employed. From November 2024 to February 2025, in-depth interviews were conducted with 20 young and middle-aged female patients undergoing treatment for breast cancer at the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University. Data were analyzed using conventional content analysis, and a patient journey map was developed. Results:Along the treatment timeline, patients' health management needs were categorized and refined from three dimensions—tasks, pain points, and emotions—into key themes: limited disease awareness, need for early detection and treatment, decision on the treatment plane, lack of nutritional support, impairment of intimate relationships and impact on fertility, body image and self-identity, and coping with changes in social relationships. These findings were integrated into a visualized patient journey map. Conclusions:The health management journey of young and middle-aged women with breast cancer is long and deeply personal, characterized by complex and diverse needs. The patient journey map systematically illustrates patients' dynamic experiences, perceptions, and behaviors as they interact with multiple events, changing environments, and varied healthcare services. It also reveals the internal drivers behind decision-making processes, uncovering unmet needs that may not be readily apparent. This process enables healthcare professionals to adopt a patient-centered approach to innovatively optimize interventions, thereby improving the precision and appropriateness of healthcare services.

To identify factors associated with the recurrence of polymyalgia rheumatica(PMR) within one year. This study included 64 patients diagnosed with PMR at Peking Union Medical College Hospital between January 2019 and June 2024. The baseline characteristics of patients with and without recurrence were compared, and logistic regression analysis was performed to identify risk factors for recurrence. The mean age at onset was 65.1±7.9 years, with a male-to-female ratio of 1:3.3. The average duration from onset to diagnosis was 4.5±3.7 months. At baseline, the average erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR) was 67.0±29.2 mm/h, with 11 patients(17.2%) having an ESR > 100 mm/h, and the average C-reactive protein(CRP) level was 57.9±51.3 mg/L. Corticosteroids were used as the initial treatment in 95.3% of patients, with an average dose of 21.6±11.6 mg/day. During the 12-month follow-up, 35.9% of patients experienced recurrence, with the median time to first recurrence being 8.2±3.3 months. The cumulative recurrence rates at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months were 6.3%, 14.1%, 25%, and 35.9%, respectively. Comparisons between patients with and without recurrence revealed significant differences in age(68.7±6.5 The one-year recurrence rate of PMR is 35.9%. Older age and lower serum albumin levels are associated with recurrence, and age may be associated with disease recurrence within one year.

Objective:To analyze the operation status of official voice in Beijing municipal hospitals and explore the countermeasures to optimize the operation of official short video tiktok. Methods:The 21 Beijing municipal tertiary public hospitals were selected as the research objects. The 17 tiktok numbers which had been approved by the hospital as of December 31, 2020 were included. The data of basic accounts, fans, points, themes, contents, and number of periodicity were analyzed. The theme and the number of praise of the short video tiktok that broke through 10 thousand times were analyzed. The current situation and problems of official voice in Beijing municipal hospitals were analyzed. Results:The 17 official tiktok accounts of the hospital issued 2 059 pieces of tiktok, 1 737.5 thousand fans, and 9 231.8 thousand times of points, the average number of entries was 4.5 thousand times. The official tiktok construction of Beijing municipal hospitals was still in its infancy. The problems included: the weakening of IP image and the lack of system design, lack of content productivity and interaction, unclear positioning and lack of operation strategy. Conclusions:The optimization of hospital official tiktok operation needs to properly handle the relationship between science and interest, systematicness and efficiency. We should clarify the account positioning, improve productivity, strengthen interaction, enhance linkage, and do a good job in supervision.

AIM: To study chronopharmacokinetics of helicid and its metabolites. METHODS: An HPLC-MS method for simultaneous determination of helicid and its three phase I metabolites were established and validated. At 8:00, 14:00 and 0:00, the rats were given helicid 50 mg/kg by gavage, respectively. Blood samples were collected from ophthalmic venous plexus. Then plasma concentration was measured. Pharmacokinetic behaviors of the original drug and its metabolites after administration at different time points were calculated and compared. RESULTS: This established HPLC-MS/MS method was successfully applied to simultaneous determination of helicid and its three metabolites in rat plasma after intragastric administration. Using AUC

Objective To evaluate the efficacy, bleeding profile and safety of low-dose levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system (LNG-IUS 8) in Chinese healthy women of childbearing age. Methods A multi-center,open-label,single-arm clinical trial conducted at 16 centres in China enrolled 773 healthy women of childbearing age (mean age 31.6 years old, range 18 to 40 years old),who demanded contraception, from April 2006 to June 2013.All women placed LNG-IUS 8 for 3 years and then been followed up at 3,6,9,12,18,24,30,36 months. The efficacy variables including pregnancy rate and expulsion rate were analyzed using life table, while observing adverse events (AE) to evaluate the safety. The bleeding profile happened during the study was assessed using 90-day reference intervals (World Health Organization criteria). Results Eight pregnancies occurred among 773 women, resulting in a overall Pearl index of 0.42 per 100 women years. The 3-year cumulative pregnancy rate was 0.37 per 100 women years and the 3-year cumulative expulsion rate was 1.99 per 100 women years. The number of women with bleeding/spotting reduced and the bleeding/spotting days declined over time.Totally 219 AE were reported related to LNG-IUS 8 placements. The most common AE were vaginal bleeding (8.2%,63/773)and the ovarian cyst (6.2%,52/773).LNG-IUS 8 had an improving effect on dysmenorrhea that the percentage of women with dysmenorrhea as well as the days of dysmenorrhea decreased over time. The percentage of women satisfied or very satisfied with LNG-IUS 8 was 87.2% (622/713).Conclusion LNG-IUS 8 is highly effective and safe for Chinese healthy women of childbearing age.

Objective To investigate the effect of antimicrobial-impregnated incise drape on preventing surgical site in-fection(SSI)following neurosurgical operation. Methods Patients undergoing neurosurgical operation from January to De-cember 2012 were divided into two groups:antimicrobial-impregnated incise drape group(group A)and general incise drape group(group B).The occurrence of SSI and risk factors for SSI were analyzed. Results Percentage of drape lifting at the wound edge in group A was lower than group B(38.3%[98/256]vs 96.88% [248/256],χ2 =200.57,P <0.01).Among 512 patients,SSI rate was 3.32%(n=17),SSI rate in group A was lower than group B(1.56%[4/256]vs 5.08%[13/256],χ2 = 7.93,P <0.05 ).Multivariate analysis revealed that body mass index ≥24,perioperative hypothermia,smok-ing,perioperative length of hospital stay ≥5 days, and lack of drape use were independent risk factors for SSI following neurosurgical operation. Conclusion Whether antimicrobial-impregnated incise drape is used in neurosurgical operation is one of the independent risk factors for SSI following neurosurgical operation,it can effectively reduce the drape lifting rate and incidence of SSI,and is recommended to be used in neurosurgical operation.
