BACKGROUND:
Epidemiological data on chronic diarrhea in the Chinese population are lacking, and the association between obesity and chronic diarrhea in East Asian populations remains inconclusive. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of chronic diarrhea and its association with obesity in a representative community-dwelling Chinese population.
METHODS:
This cross-sectional study was based on a multistage, randomized cluster sampling involving 3503 residents aged 20-69 years from representative urban and rural communities in Beijing. Chronic diarrhea was assessed using the Bristol Stool Form Scale (BSFS), and obesity was determined based on body mass index (BMI). Logistic regression analysis and restricted cubic splines were used to evaluate the relationship between obesity and chronic diarrhea.
RESULTS:
The standardized prevalence of chronic diarrhea in the study population was 12.88%. The average BMI was 24.67 kg/m 2 . Of all the participants, 35.17% (1232/3503) of participants were classified as overweight and 16.13% (565/3503) as obese. After adjustment for potential confounders, individuals with obesity had an increased risk of chronic diarrhea as compared to normal weight individuals (odds ratio = 1.58, 95% confidence interval: 1.20-2.06). A nonlinear association between BMI and the risk of chronic diarrhea was observed in community residents of males and the overall participant group ( P = 0.026 and 0.017, respectively).
CONCLUSIONS
This study presents initial findings on the prevalence of chronic diarrhea among residents of Chinese communities while offering substantiated evidence regarding the significant association between obesity and chronic diarrhea. These findings offer a novel perspective on gastrointestinal health management.

Cemental tear is a rare and indetectable condition unless obvious clinical signs present with the involvement of surrounding periodontal and periapical tissues. Due to its clinical manifestations similar to common dental issues, such as vertical root fracture, primary endodontic diseases, and periodontal diseases, as well as the low awareness of cemental tear for clinicians, misdiagnosis often occurs. The critical principle for cemental tear treatment is to remove torn fragments, and overlooking fragments leads to futile therapy, which could deteriorate the conditions of the affected teeth. Therefore, accurate diagnosis and subsequent appropriate interventions are vital for managing cemental tear. Novel diagnostic tools, including cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT), microscopes, and enamel matrix derivatives, have improved early detection and management, enhancing tooth retention. The implementation of standardized diagnostic criteria and treatment protocols, combined with improved clinical awareness among dental professionals, serves to mitigate risks of diagnostic errors and suboptimal therapeutic interventions. This expert consensus reviewed the epidemiology, pathogenesis, potential predisposing factors, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of cemental tear, aiming to provide a clinical guideline and facilitate clinicians to have a better understanding of cemental tear.

In this study, a new model of "Internet + PACD (namely, theoretical presentation, assimilatin, clinicopathological diagnosis and discussion)" was put forward in the online and offline course construction of surgical diagnostic pathology. and the teaching effect of this teaching model was evaluated through the performance evaluation and questionnaire survey. The results showed that the teaching model of "Internet + PACD" could not only significantly improve the performance of professional courses of students majoring in pathology, but also enhance their learning interest, confidence, competition and cooperation consciousness, which has been affirmed and recognized by students.

The construction of Internet plus and big data pathology medical alliance platform is based on the Clinical Pathological Diagnosis Center of Qiqihar Medical University, on the basis of the digital pathological cloud platform provided by Jiangfeng biological assistance, relying on the medical development plan of Qi Medical Pathology diagnosis Center, cultivating the development concept of high, fine and sharp innovative pathological talents, and absorbing the leading figures of pathological diagnosis in various departments in China. From that, the real-time supervision and control of the diagnostic quality of Primary Pathological Diagnostic Unit can be established, the real-time, timely and accurate all-round training of Basic Pathological Diagnostic Technicians can be realized, and the level of basic pathological diagnosis can be quickly improved. A new training mode for pathology talents can perfectly fit with the big data medicine and artificial intelligence.
6.People-orientation for employee management in hospital administration
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2009;25(7):491-493
Such management theories as social exchange, equity and incentives are called into play to probe, from an array of perspectives, into the functionality and role of the employee orientation in people-oriented concept as it is used in contemporary hospital management. The paper also analyzed the dialectical relationship between the concept of "employee-orientation" and that of "patients or customers orientation", and the dialectical relationship between "people-orientation" model and "policy-orientation" model It pinpoints the mistake of overemphasizing "patients or customer orientation" and neglecting employee management in hospital management, proposing a people-oriented path centering on employees in hospital management.

Objective To explore the value of Chinese ink in identifying sentinel lymph nodes(SLN) during radical resection of cervical carcinoma. Methods After sterilized Chinese ink(1ml) was infused in normal tissue at four points, extensive cervical resection and cleaning operation of pelvic lymph nodes were performed.Lymph nodes staining black in drainage field of pelvic lymph system were investigated. Results Lymph nodes staining black were found in 15 cases. The identifying rate was 100%(15/15).Positive lymph nodes were found in 2 cases with lymph node metastasis. The accurate rate of pelvic lymph nodes metastasis was 100%.Conclusion The effect is reliable by using Chinese ink as tracer of SLNs in cervical carcinoma.
