Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of fasting nasogastric administration of sesame oil combined with multi-frequency vibrational abdominal massage in stroke patients with consti-pation undergoing nasogastric feeding.Methods A total of 50 stroke patients with nasogastric feeding were selected as study subjects and randomly divided into control group and study group,with 25 pa-tients in each group.The control group received routine nursing care plus multi-frequency vibrational abdominal massage,while the study group received fasting nasogastric administration of 20 mL of sesa-me oil on the basis of the control group's treatment.After 15 days of intervention,the defecation condi-tions[constipation clinical symptom score(CSS),stool consistency(Bristol stool scale),and stool volume]were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the CSS score in the study group was lower than that in the control group[(6.52±2.52)versus(12.64±3.32),P＜0.05].The normal stool consistency(types Ⅳ and Ⅴ on the Bristol stool scale)in the study group was higher than that in the control group(76.0％versus 8.0％,P＜0.05).The stool volume in the study group was higher than that in the control group[(303.00±93.79)g versus(196.40±60.27)g,P＜0.05].The total effective rate of defecation in the study group was 96.0％,which was higher than 32.0％in the control group(P＜0.05).The Patient Assessment of Constipation-Quality of Life(PAC-QOL)score in the study group was lower than that in the control group[(40.07±5.67)versus(63.07±7.46),P＜0.05].Conclusion Fasting nasogastric administration of sesame oil com-bined with multi-frequency vibrational abdominal massage can promote the recovery of intestinal function and improve constipation symptoms in stroke patients with nasogastric feeding.

To report a case of generalized lichen amyloidosis successfully treated with dupilumab in China. A 70-year-old male patient presented with extensive itchy papules on the trunk and extremities for 23 years. Skin examination revealed diffuse millet-to mung bean-sized hemispherical brown plaques on the trunk, right anterior shank, and extensor aspect of both upper arms, with a hard texture on palpation. No abnormalities were observed in the blood eosinophil count or serum IgE level. Histopathological examination of the skin lesion on the lower limb showed epidermal hyperkeratosis and homogeneous red-stained lumpy materials in the papillary dermis. Immunohistochemical study showed positive staining with Congo red. The pruritus numerical rating scale score was 10 points. The diagnosis of generalized lichen amyloidosis was confirmed. The patient received subcutaneous injection of dupilumab at an initial dose of 600 mg, followed by an every-2-week regimen at a dose of 300 mg. At week 2 after the start of treatment, pruritus was markedly relieved; at week 14, the skin lesions began to subside markedly; at week 18, the skin lesions on the chest and abdomen nearly completely subsided, and lesions on the lower back and limbs markedly regressed. No obvious adverse reactions were observed.

Objective:To investigate the characteristics of perceived stress and coping style and their relationship withsymptoms in college students with psychosis-risk syndrome (PRS).Methods:A two-stage screening process was conducted in 3160 college students.Participants were screened with 16-Item Version of the Prodromal Questionnaire (PQ-16).The students with scores of PQ-16 ≥9 were further interviewed with Structured Interview for Prodromal Syndromes (SIPS).Twenty-two individuals who met the criteria of PRS on SIPS were enrolled as the PRS group.The control group (n =22) were randomly selected from the participants with scores of PQ-16 ＜9 who were matched with age,gender and education level.Two groups were assessed with Chinese Perceived Stress Scale (CPSS),Trait Coping Style Questionnaire (TCSQ) and Self-rating depression scale (SDS) to measure subjective stress,coping style and depressive symptoms.Results:PRS group reported higher CPSS total scores [(34 ± 8)vs.(22 ± 8)] and negative coping styles scores [(35 ± 5)vs.(28 ± 7)],and lowerTCSQ positive coping styles scores [(31 ±6)vs.(37 ±4)] than the controls (Ps ＜0.05).The CPSS scores in PRS group were positively correlated with the scores of negative coping style (r =0.57,P ＜0.01),and the SDS scores were positively correlated with CPSS total scores and scores of negative coping style (r--0.86,0.66,Ps ＜ 0.01).There was no significant relation of psychosis-risk symptoms to scores of CPSS and TCSQ (P ＞0.05).Conclusion:It suggests that college students with PRS have a higher perceived stress and tend to use more negative coping style,which may be positively correlated with depression.

Objective: To systemically review the safety and efficacy of Absorb bioresorbable vascular scaffold (Absorb BVS) versus cobalt chromium-everolimus eluting stent (CoCr-EES) for treating the patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) by percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
Methods: We searched relevant literatures in PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, CNKI and Wanfang database from 2008-01 to 2015-10, meanwhile, collected published data and randomized controlled trials from meeting abstracts and websites to compare Absorb BVS and CoCr-EES for treating CAD patients. The quality of literatures were assessed and extracted by modiifed Jadad score, Meta-analysis was conducted by STATA 12.0 soft ware.
Results: There were 4 eligible trials with 3,389 patients were enrolled. Absorb BVS group, n=2,164 and CoCr-EES group, n=1,225. During the mean of 1.1 years follow-up period, the following incidences were similar between 2 groups:target lesion failure (OR=1.29, 95%CI 0.95-1.74, P=0.10), all cause death (OR=1.31, 95%CI 0.60-2.87, P=0.50), cardiac death (OR=1.38, 95%CI 0.45-4.24, P=0.57), myocardial infarction (OR=1.30, 95%CI 0.93-1.80, P=0.12), deifnite or probable stent thrombosis (OR=2.08, 95%CI 0.95-4.54, P=0.07), re-vascularization (OR=1.03, 95%CI 0.80-1.33, P=0.81), target lesion re-vascularization (OR=1.06, 95%CI 0.67-1.66, P=0.81) and the patient-oriented composite endpoint (OR=0.95, 95%CI 0.66-1.35, P=0.76).
Conclusion: Absorb BVS and CoCr-EES had the similar safety and efifcacy for treating the low and moderate risk CAD patients who had angina, ischemia while without symptoms. The longer period of follow-up study and larger randomized, controlled clinical trials were needed for Absorb BVS application in clinical practice.

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of noncoding RNAs that regulates target gene expression at posttranscriptional level, leading to further biological functions. We have demonstrated that microvesicles (MVs) can deliver miRNAs into target cells as a novel way of intercellular communication. It is reported that in central nervous system, glial cells release MVs, which modulate neuronal function in normal condition. To elucidate the potential role of glial MVs in disease, we evaluated the effects of secreted astrocytic MVs on stress condition. Our results demonstrated that after Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) stimulation, astrocytes released shedding vesicles (SVs) that enhanced vulnerability of dopaminergic neurons to neurotoxin. Further investigation showed that increased astrocytic miR-34a in SVs was involved in this progress via targeting anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-2 in dopaminergic neurons. We also found that inhibition of astrocytic miR-34a after LPS stimulation can postpone dopaminergic neuron loss under neurotoxin stress. These data revealed a novel mechanism underlying astrocyte-neuron interaction in disease.

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are endogenously expressed small, non-coding transcripts that regulate protein expression. Substantial evidences suggest that miRNAs are enriched in central nervous system, where they are hypothesized to play pivotal roles during neural development. In the present study, we analyzed miRNAs expression in mice cerebral cortex and hippocampus at different developmental stages and found miR-29a increased dramatically at postnatal stages. In addition, we provided strong evidences that miR-29a is enriched in mature neurons both in vitro and in vivo. Further investigation demonstrated that the activation of glutamate receptors induced endogenous miR-29a level in primary neurons. Moreover, we showed that miR-29a directly regulated its target protein Doublecortin (DCX) expression, which further modulated axon branching in primary culture. Together, our results suggested that miR-29a play an important role in neuronal development of mice cerebrum.
