This study aims to review the current status and development trends of digital TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) specimen museums, providing a theoretical basis for their future construction. By systematically organizing literature and materials, practical experiences in platform architecture design, content planning, and technical implementation were summarized. The research results show that digital technology has significant application value in the TCM field. Currently, some Food and Drug Control Institutes have formed diverse construction achievements by integrating regional characteristics with technological innovation. However, current TCM specimen museums generally still face many challenges, such as insufficient digitalization. In conclusion, the digitalization of TCM specimen museums has become an inevitable trend in the industry. Targeted measures are urgently needed to solve existing problems and promote the sustainable development of digital TCM specimen museums. It is suggested to strengthen the standardization of data collection and storage, deepen the integration of technologies such as 3D, AR, and AI into the construction of specimen museums, and at the same time promote the spatial design combining regional culture with TCM. This will help create "one museum with one feature for one region" digital TCM specimen museums, further promoting their sustainable development and facilitating the digital inheritance of TCM.

OBJECTIVE To analyze the current research status and hotspots of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in the treatment of ulcerative colitis (UC) via bibliometrics method. METHODS The clinical, basic, and pharmacological research of TCM in the treatment of UC in the CNKI core journals database and Web of Science core collection database were searched from January 2013 to April 2023. The CiteSpace 6.1. R6 software was adopted to analyze the number of authors, institutions and keywords. What’s more, a visual map was plotted. RESULTS Overall, 1 060 Chinese articles and 555 English articles were included. In 2013-2023, the number of relevant research documents issued by TCM in the treatment of UC has shown a significant upward trend. Among the included literature, there are 59 core authors in Chinese and 33 core authors in English. A stable group centered on multiple key scholars has been formed. Chinese research hotspots focus on the experience of famous doctors, classical famous prescriptions, etc.; English research hotspots center on cells, expression, activation, signaling pathway, etc. The study of intestinal flora, inflammatory factors, and other mechanisms has attracted much attention in both Chinese and English literature. CONCLUSIONS In recent years, some progress has been made in the study of treating UC with TCM. In the future, the top-level design of clinical research protocols based on maintaining the characteristics of TCM should be strengthened. Moreover, the long- term efficacy evaluation of TCM in the treatment of UC should be emphasized, and new technologies such as metabolomics and protein sequencing should be actively adopted to explore the scientific connotation of TCM compatibility in treating diseases.

Objective:To investigate the effects of subcutaneous immunotherapy (SCIT) on patients′ immune markers and metabolic levels in the early stage of allergen treatment, and to gain insight into the role of SCIT in regulating immune responses and metabolic levels, so as to provide reference data for the further discovery of potential biomarkers. Methods:A longitudinal study was used to include 40 subjects who underwent SCIT with dust mite allergens in the Department of Pediatrics of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University between November 2017 and February 2022, including 20 subjects each of single mite subcutaneous immunotherapy (SM-SCIT) and double mite subcutaneous immunotherapy (DM-SCIT). In this study, levels of dust mite allergen-specific antibodies and polyunsaturated fatty acid metabolism were measured before and 12 months after treatment, while pulmonary function tests were performed. The therapeutic effects of the patients were followed up by visual analogue scale (VAS), asthma control test (ACT) and total medication scores (TMS). The results were statistically analyzed using t-test and Mann-Whitney U-test. Results:After 12 months of treatment with SCIT, both groups showed a significant decrease in total VAS score (SM-SCIT: Z=-2.298, P<0.05; DM-SCIT: Z=-3.411, P<0.001); total ACT score (SM-SCIT: Z=-2.054, P<0.05; DM-SCIT: Z=-2.014, P<0.05) and total medication scores (SM-SCIT: Z=-3.799, P<0.000 1; DM-SCIT: Z=-3.474, P<0.001) were significantly higher, in addition to significantly higher MMEF75/25 values in the DM-SCIT group ( t=-2.253, P<0.05). There was no significant change in sIgE in the SM-SCIT group ( P>0.05), and the sIgG4 levels of the Der p, Der f, p 1, p 2, f 2, and p 21 fractions were significantly elevated ( Z=-2.651, -3.771, -2.949, -2.912, -2.725, -2.128, and -3.285, respectively, all P<0.05); The sIgE of Der p 2, f 2, p 7 and p 23 fractions( Z=-2.651, -3.771, -2.949, -2.912, -2.725, -2.128, -3.285, all P<0.05) and the sIgG4 levels of the Der p, Der f, p 1, p 2, f 1, f 2, p 10, p 21 and p 23 fractions ( Z=-3.808, -3.845, -3.061, -2.688, -2.464, -3.211, -2.371, -2.091, -2.427, all P<0.05) of the DM-SCIT group were significantly elevated. Metabolomics analysis showed that arachidonic acid, docosahexaenoic acid, docosapentaenoic acid, eicosapentaenoic acid, 5, 9, 12-octadecatrienoic acid, 5(S)-hydroxylated eicosatetraenoic acid, and dihomo-gamma-linolenic acid were significantly elevated at the beginning of the treatment period after SM-SCIT treatment ( Z of -2.191, -2.497, -1.988, -2.090, -2.19, -2.803, -2.073, all P<0.05); 5(S)-hydroxylated eicosatetraenoic acid showed elevated and alpha-linolenic acid, eicosadienoic acid, and eicosapentaenoic acid were significantly decreased in the DM-SCIT group after treatment ( Z=-1.988, -2.090, -2.497, -1.988, respectively, all P<0.05). Correlation analysis showed that arachidonic acid was significantly negatively correlated with changes in dust mite-specific IgG4 ( r=-0.499, P<0.05), and that alpha-linolenic acid, 5, 9, 12-octadecatrienoic acid, and eicosapentaenoic acid were positively correlated with the ΔsIgG4 of the dust mite der p 2 ( r=0.451, 0.420, 0.474, respectively; all P<0.05). Conclusion:Significant changes in allergen-specific antibody levels and polyunsaturated fatty acid metabolism levels occur during SCIT, and the two may interact and influence each other.

Journal of Clinical Hepatology 2021;37(2):318-325
ObjectiveTo evaluate the efficacy and safety of rifaximin in the prevention of spontaneous bacterial peritonitis (SBP). MethodsCNKI, Wanfang Data, CBM, PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Library were searched for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and cohort studies on rifaximin in the prevention of SBP published up to July 5, 2020. The articles were screened according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, and data extraction and quality assessment were performed. RevMan 5.3 software was used to conduct the meta-analysis. Results A total of 13 studies (with 2207 patients in total) were included, among which there were 6 RCTs and 7 cohort studies. The results of the meta-analysis showed that compared with the non-prevention group, the rifaximin group had significantly lower incidence rate of SBP (odds ratio [OR]=0.36, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.14-0.96, P=0.04) and mortality rate (OR=0.59, 95% CI: 037-0.95, P=0.03); compared with the norfloxacin group, the rifaximin group had significantly lower incidence rate of SBP (OR=039, 95% CI: 025-0.62, P<0.001), mortality rate (OR=0.55, 95% CI: 0.34-0.92, P=0.02), and adverse reactions (OR=0.36, 95% CI: 0.22-059, P<0.001). The subgroup analysis based on the type of prevention showed that there was no significant difference in primary prevention between the two groups (OR=0.56, 95% CI: 0.23-1.35, P=0.20), and in secondary prevention, the rifaximin group had a significantly lower incidence rate of SBP (OR=0.18, 95% CI: 0.08-0.43, P<0.001). In addition, it was also found that rifaximin significantly reduced the incidence rate of hepatorenal syndrome (OR=0.34, 95% CI: 0.15-0.77, P=0.01) and hepatic encephalopathy (OR=0.55, 95% CI: 0.32-0.95, P=0.03). ConclusionRifaximin is safe and effective for the primary and secondary prevention of SBP. Rifaximin is superior to norfloxacin in secondary prevention, which still needs to be confirmed by high-quality multicenter RCTs.

Journal of Preventive Medicine 2020;32(5):460-465
Objective:
To evaluate the effects of office blood pressure(OBP)combined with ambulatory blood pressure monitoring(ABPM)on the diagnosis of hypertension.
Methods:
The residents aged 35-79 years without hypertension history, whose casual OBP were 120~159 mm Hg/80~99 mm Hg,were enrolled from 4 communities of Hangzhou and Zhuji from 2015 to 2018. They were performed OBP measurements on other two days in 4 weeks and ABPM in a week. There were 2 criteria of OBP as elevated OBP on the first day or in 3 different days, and 4 criteria of ABPM as elevated mean BP in 24 hours, daytime, nighttime and either of the above time. Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was employed to evaluate the effects of different OBP criteria combined with ABPM criteria on the diagnosis of masked hypertension(MH)and white-coat hypertension(WCH).
Results:
Taking 3-day-OBP as a golden standard, the 1-day-OBP with 4 ABPM criteria had the areas under the ROC curve(AUC)of 0.79-0.81,sensitivity of 57.58%-62.77% and specificity of 100.00% in MH;had the AUC of 0.95-0.98,sensitivity of 100.00% and specificity of 88.96%-96.80% in WCH. The Kappa values were all less than 0.6,known as low consistency. Taking either time of ABPM as a golden standard,24 hours, daytime and nighttime ABPM criteria with OBP had the AUC of 0.90-0.92,sensitivity of 79.17%-83.90% and specificity of 100.00% in MH(all Kappa>0.6),when with 1-day-OBP,the Kappa values were all more than 0.8,known as high consistency;had the AUC of 0.95-1.00,sensitivity of 100.00% and specificity of 89.54%-99.37% in WCH,the Kappa values of daytime ABPM were all more than 0.6,known as high consistency.
Conclusions
If limited by options, 1-day-OBP could be used instead of 3-day-OBP for detection of WCH or exclusion of MH yet with less accuracy; 24 hours or daytime ABPM instead of either time of ABPM was reliable.
