Objective:
To understand the characteristics of injury cases in Longhua District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province from 2021 to 2024, so as to provide the evidence for the development of injury prevention and control measures.
Methods:
The data of injury cases in the first visit due to injury in the sentinel hospitals of Longhua District from 2021 to 2024 were collected from the Shenzhen Injury Surveillance System. The time, cause, place, activity, intention, nature, position, severity, and outcome of injury were described.
Results:
From 2021 to 2024, a total of 167 524 injury cases were reported in Longhua District, with a male-to-female ratio of 1.89∶1. The incidence of injuries was higher in cases aged 30-<45 years (49 957 cases, 29.82%). Injuries mainly occurred from July to August (31 272 cases, 18.67%). The main cause of injury was falls (52 048 cases, 31.07%). Injuries mainly occurred at home (64 110 cases, 38.27%). Leisure activities were the main activities when injuries occurred (79 008 cases, 47.16%). Most of the injuries were unintentional (159 173 cases, 95.02%). The main type of injury was contusion/abrasion (71 900 cases, 42.92%). The main injury site was upper limb (64 247 cases, 38.35%). Most injuries were mild (131 369 cases, 78.42%). The main injury outcome was discharge after treatment, 160 882 cases (96.04%). The second cause of male injury was blunt force injury (30 140 cases, 27.49%), and the second cause of female injury was animal injury (14 648 cases, 25.31%). Fall was the leading cause of injury in people aged 0-<15 years and ≥65 years, and blunt force injury was the leading cause of injury in people aged 15-<65 years. The second place for male injuries was industrial and construction places (23 722 cases, 21.64%), and for female injuries was school/public places (9 644 cases, 16.66%). The first place for injuries in people aged 45-<65 years was in industrial and construction places. The proportions of fractures, moderate injuries, and hospitalizations increased with age (all P<0.05).
Conclusions
The main injury cases in Longhua District were males and people aged 30-<45 years. July and August were a period of high risk for injuries. People aged 0-<15 years and ≥65 years were the high-risk groups of falls. More attention should be paid to the fracture risk in the elderly.

Objective In cases and events of mixed STR typing of aborted fetus, two methods for calculating paternity index(PI)of suspected biological fathers are proposed, which could be useful for theoretical reference for parental identification including mixed STR typing. Methods Depending on whether the fetal genotypes can be identified, the simple PI calculation method and the PI calculation method of deduced biological paternal genes when the fetal genotypes cannot be identified are proposed. Results The simple PI calculation method is to indentify the fetal genotypes first and then calculate according to the standard triplet. The PI calculation method of deduced biological paternal genes is to deduce all the possible genotypes of biological fathers conforming to Mendel's law(inference)without considering the ratio of peak height and peak area in mixed typing, and then calculate the parental index separately, taking the minimum value as the parental index of the locus. Conclusion When mixture ratio of fetus in the mixed typing of aborted tissue MR≥0.43,the accuracy of separation is very high and the simple PI calculation method can be accurate,so it is recommended. If 0.05≤MR<0.43,it is suggested to use the calculation method of deduced biological paternal genes, which can avoid misjudgment of irrelevant persons to the greatest extent. If MR<0.05,there's a high risk of fetal allele loss,we should not perform a paternity test on the mixed spot.Since the cumulative parental index calculated by deduced the biological paternal genes is usually lower than the value calculated by dividing the fetal genotype, the CPI may be lower than 10 000 when fewer loci are identified, and then more genetic markers should be detected.

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Tuina(Chinese therapeutic massage)in the treatment of functional dyspepsia(FD)in children and adults. Methods:Related articles in PubMed,Excerpta Medica Database(EMBASE),Cochrane Library,Web of Science,China Biology Medicine Disc(CBM),Wanfang Academic Journal Full-text Database(Wanfang),China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),and Chongqing VIP Database(CQVIP)were collected. The retrieval time was from each database's start to March 2022.Two researchers independently screened the literature, extracted the data, and evaluated the risk of bias in the included studies.A meta-analysis was then performed using the RevMan 5.4 software. Results:A total of 19 clinical trials were included,9 of which encompassed studies on adults while 10 were on children with FD,comprising a total of 1961 patients. The findings of the meta-analysis showed that the effective rate of FD in children and adults treated with Tuina was significantly higher than that in the control group[risk ratio(RR)=1.15,95%confidence interval(CI)(1.09,1.21),P<0.001],[RR=1.13,95%CI(1.06,1.21),P<0.001].In addition, the effective rate of FD in children and adults treated with Tuina combined with other treatments was significantly higher than that in the control group[RR=1.14,95%CI(1.07,1.21),P<0.001],[RR=1.12,95%CI(1.02,1.24),P=0.02].In terms of single symptoms,Tuina improved epigastric burning sensation score in adults[standardized mean difference(SMD)=-0.41;95%CI(-0.79,-0.02);Z=2.08;P=0.04]compared with that of the Western medicine group.Compared with children treated with oral Chinese medications(CM)or Chinese patent medicine(CPM),children with FD demonstrated lower scores of epigastric pain[SMD=-0.38,95%CI(-0.56,-0.19);Z=3.96;P<0.001],postprandial fullness[SMD=-0.30,95%CI(-0.50,-0.10);Z=2.88;P=0.004],and early satiety[SMD=-0.26,95%CI(-0.47,-0.06);Z=2.54;P=0.01]after receiving Tuina combined with CM or CPM treatment. No adverse events were reported in the Tuina treatment group, and the follow-up indicated that the symptom scores in the Tuina group improved. Conclusion:Compared with the control group, both Tuina and Tuina combined with other treatments are shown to have better effective rates, lower incidence of adverse events, and better follow-up outcomes. The study results suggest that Tuina may be a clinically viable complementary therapy. However, due to limitations in the number and quality of the included studies, the above conclusions should be verified by further high-quality studies.

American medical insurance is mainly composed of public medical insurance borne by the government and private medical insurance. The main cause of death in this country are ischemic heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and lung cancer. The motality rate mainly caused by drug use disorders, chronic kidney disease and Alzheimer’s disease. The development of Chinese herbal medicine is relatively slow and difficult. The education system has covered Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). However, there still exist certain challenges of the development of TCM acupuncture faces the challenge of localization; Chinese herbal medicine still lacks standardization and TCM education needs to be standardized. Based on the current situation, it is suggested to focus on the development of acupuncture and moxibustion, to promote the registration and declaration of Chinese herbal medicine products for treating difficult diseases, and to strengthen the international exchange of TCM education, so as to promote the development and spread of TCM in the United States.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the association of glutathione S-transferase M1 (GSTM1) and glutathione S-transferase T1 (GSTT1) polymorphisms with noise-induced hearing loss.
METHODSThe Cochrane library, PubMed, OVID, EMBASE, Springer, Wanfang Data, VIP, CNKI, and CBM were searched to collect case-control studies on GSTM1 or GSTT1 polymorphism and noise-induced hearing loss. The articles meeting the inclusion criteria were reviewed systematically, and the reported data were aggregated using Revman 5.0.
RESULTSFive studies were included in the meta-analysis. The meta-analysis and subgroup analysis showed that the persons with GSTM1 null genotype had an increased risk of noise-induced hearing loss compared with those with GSTM1 wild genotype (OR = 1.37, 95%CI: 1.13∼1.66); in the Chinese population, the risk of noise-induced hearing loss was higher in persons with GSTM1 null genotype than in those with GSTM1 wild genotype (OR = 1.5, 95%CI: 1.2∼1.86); there was no significant difference in the risk of noise-induced hearing loss between persons with GSTT1 null and wild genotypes.
CONCLUSIONGSTM1 polymorphism is related to noise-induced hearing loss, but GSTT1 polymorphism is unrelated to this condition.
