Objective To investigate the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)on the behaviors of lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced depression-like mice and explore the potential molecular mechanism of the antidepressant effect of EA using transcriptomics sequencing technology. Methods Thirty-six male specific pathogen-free-grade C57BL/6J mice were divided into the normal, the model, and the EA groups using the random number table method, with 12 mice per group. The EA group received a daily 20-minute EA at the"Baihui"and"Yintang"acupoints for 7 days. After 7 days of EA treatment,1.5 mg/kg LPS was injected intraperitoneally into the model and EA groups, whereas the normal group received an injection of an equal volume of saline solution.Depressive behaviors were assessed using the open-field test,tail-suspension test, and other relevant tests.Pathologic morphology of the hippocampus tissue was determined using hematoxylin-eosin staining.Transcriptomics technology was used to identify differentially expressed genes in the hippocampus, and bioinformatics analysis was performed.Real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR was performed to detect the mRNA expressions of hematopoietic cell kinase(Hck),adhesion G protein-coupled receptor E1(Adgre1),Toll-like receptor 2(Tlr2),and Gm49037 in the hippocampus. Results Compared to the normal group, mice in the model group exhibited a decrease in total travel distance, central travel distance, center area time(P<0.01),as well as an increase in tail-suspension immobility time(P<0.05).Hippocampal neurons were loosely arranged, and some neurons had blurred boundaries.Compared to the model group, mice in the EA group showed an increase in open-field total travel distance, central travel distance, center area time(P<0.05),as well as a decrease in tail-suspension immobility time(P<0.01);Additionally,hippocampal neurons were more tightly arranged, exhibiting clearer morphology and structure.Transcriptomic analysis revealed that 779 differentially expressed genes were identified in the model group compared to the normal group, whereas 172 genes differed between the EA and model groups.Nineteen genes were upregulated in the model group but downregulated in the EA group, and ten genes were down-regulated in the model group but up-regulated in the EA group.Gene Ontology Functional Analysis indicated that these genes primarily function in immune responses,Toll-like receptor activity, cell surface receptor signaling pathways, and interleukin-10 production.Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway analysis revealed enrichment in inflammation-related pathways, including Toll-like receptor signaling pathway and tumor necrosis factor signaling pathway.Compared to the normal group,Hck,Adgre1,and Tlr2 mRNA expressions were elevated in the model group(P<0.01),whereas there was a decrease tendency for Gm49037 mRNA expression and there was no significant difference(P>0.05);compared to the model group,Hck,Adgre1,and Tlr2 mRNA expressions were decreased in the EA group(P<0.05),whereas there was an increase tendency for Gm49037 mRNA expression and there was no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion EA alleviated depressive-like behavior and pathological damage in the hippocampus in LPS-induced mice, which may be related to attenuating hippocampal inflammatory pathways, and Hck,Adgre1,and Tlr2 genes may be the potential targets for its effect.

Solitary cervical submental nodule is a relatively rare case in clinical procedure and prone to miss diagnosis.Differential diagnosis with various head and neck diseases is necessary. This article reported a case of solitary cervical submental metastasis of papillary thyroid carcinoma received in the department of surgery,Civil Aviation Shanghai Hospital,Ruijin Gubei Branch,Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. The patient came to the outpatient clinic for treatment due to"consciously larger submental tubercle than before".Ultrasound examination revealed suspicious lesions in both the thyroid and submental regions.Ultrasound-guided final needle aspiration biopsy diagnosed as malignant tumor.Surgical resection was performed and the central group lymph nodes dissected Pathological examination confirmed papillary thyroid carcinoma with solitary submental metastasis. This article reported the clinical diagnosis and treatment of this case,in order to improve the disease recognition for clinicians, and make differential diagnosis with other rare neck diseases, and avoid missing diagnoses.

Objective To investigate the prevalence and specific manifestations of enduring psychological distress in patients with breast cancer after operation. Methods Totally 263 patients of the newly diagnosed breast cancer treated with the operation from August 2014 to August 2015 were collected by convenience sampling. Distress Thermometer (DT) and Problem List recommended by national Comprehensive Cancer Network was used to assess the persistent psychological distresses in the 6th, 15th, 20th, 25th, 30th months after the disease diagnosis, while a self-designed questionnaire was for the demographic data. Results The results of the DT screening showed that 16%(42/263) patients had persistent psychological problems;the incidences of five stages of significant psychological distress (DT≥4) was 43%(113/263), 34%(89/263), 31%(81/263), 28% (73/263) and 25% (65/263), respectively. The main manifestations of persistent psychological distress were:fatigue 59 cases (22.4%) , sleep disorders 51 cases (19.4%), nervous 48 cases (18.2%), anxiety 24 cases (9.1%), fear of appearance 23 cases (8.7%) and the difference in persistent psychological distress scores between different demographic characteristics (age, educational level, marital status, economic situation, operation method, disease stage) were statistically significant (t=-2.295-2.966, P<0.05). Conclusion The incidences of persistent psychological distress in patients with breast cancer is higher and the manifestation is different, which should be paid attention to by medical workers.

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for the rational use of antibiotics in outpatients who had genital tract Mycoplas-ma infections in Yulin area. METHODS:Using the integration culture plate,19 836 outpatient's specimens with suspected Myco-plasma infection from Yulin Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital during 2012 to 2014 were tested, and then the results of drug susceptibility test were retrospectively analyzed. RESULTS:In the total of 19 836 inspected specimens,5 640 cases were positive with the rate of 28.4%. The positive rate of Ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu),Mycoplasma hominis(Mh),mixed(Uu+ Mh)infection were 88.0%,3.8% and 8.2% respectively. The positive rate of male patient with Mycoplasma infection was lower than female pa-tient(P<0.05). Male and female patients with positive maximum age respectively at the age of 25 to 40 (81.3%) and 20 to 35 years old(78.6%). From 2012 to 2014,Mycoplasma showed different degree of drug resistance to 9 kinds of antibiotics. In gener-al,the resistance rate of Uu to lincocin was close to 100%,Mh to erythromycin, roxithromycin and azithromycin were higher than 70%,and those of Uu+Mh were lower than 10% only to josamcine, minocycline and doxycycline. CONCLUSIONS:During 2012 to 2014,the rate of genital tract Mycoplasma infection in male and female outpatients of Yulin region increased year by year, and the infection mainly caused by Uu with a serious drug resistance. We should also pay attentions to the increase of Mh infection and mixed infection. Josamycin, minocycline and doxcycline can be used as a drug choice for empiric preferred treatment, and other an-tibiotics should be used based on antibiotics susceptibility test results.
