Objective:To assess the prevalence of metabolic syndrome(MS) and its relationship with hyperuricemia(HUA) in perimenopausal women in Anning city, Yunnan province.Methods:This is a cross-sectional survey. In May 2021, a multi-stage stratified sampling method was used to collect demographics and clinical data [ethnicity, living community, height, weight, waist circumference, blood pressure, fasting plasma glucose, triglycerides(TG), serum uric acid, high density lipoprotein-cholesterol(HDL-C), alanine transaminase(ALT), etc] in a total of 6 721 perimenopausal women aged 45-60 years.Results:A total of 6 721 perimenopausal women were included in this study. The prevalences of MS and HUA were 14.05%(95% CI 13.22%-14.88%) and 6.46%(95% CI 5.88%-7.07%), respectively. The average age, HDL-C, urea, direct bilirubin, and albumin levels in the perimenstrual HUA population were lower than those in the non-HUA population while the levels of TG, ALT, heart rate, body mass index(BMI), and creatinine were higher(all P<0.05). The prevalence of HUA in perimenopausal women with ethnic minorities and family history of chronic diseases was higher than that in Han nationality and without family history of chronic diseases. The prevalence of MS in perimenopausal women was increased with the increase of serum uric acid( Z=-15.313 8, P<0.001). Multivariate logistic regression model showed that HUA was positively correlated with MS( OR=1.526, 95% CI 1.192-1.954) after adjusting for covariates such as BMI and ethnicity, and the incidence of MS in perimenopausal women in HUA group was 1.526 folds higher than that in non-hyperuricemia group. Conclusion:HUA is highly positively correlated with MS in perimenopausal women. The management of uric acid level in perimenopausal women should be strengthened.

Objective:To characterize the histopathological subtypes and their clinicopathological parameters of gender and onset age by common, rare and sparse primary esophageal malignant tumors (PEMT).Methods:A total of 272 437 patients with PEMT were enrolled in this study, and all of the patients were received radical surgery. The clinicopathological information of the patients was obtained from the database established by the State Key Laboratory of Esophageal Cancer Prevention & Treatment from September 1973 to December 2020, which included the clinical treatment, pathological diagnosis and follow-up information of esophagus and gastric cardia cancers. All patients were diagnosed and classified by the criteria of esophageal tumor histopathological diagnosis and classification (2019) of the World Health Organization (WHO). The esophageal tumors, which were not included in the WHO classification, were analyzed separately according to the postoperative pathological diagnosis. The χ 2 test was performed by the SPSS 25.0 software on count data, and the test standard α=0.05. Results:A total of 32 histopathological types were identified in the enrolled PEMT patients, of which 10 subtypes were not included in the WHO classification. According to the frequency, PEMT were divided into common (esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, ESCC, accounting for 97.1%), rare (esophageal adenocarcinoma, EAC, accounting for 2.3%) and sparse (mainly esophageal small cell carcinoma, malignant melanoma, etc., accounting for 0.6%). All the common, rare, and sparse types occurred predominantly in male patients, and the gender difference of rare type was most significant (EAC, male∶ female, 2.67∶1), followed with common type (ESCC, male∶ female, 1.78∶1) and sparse type (male∶ female, 1.71∶1). The common type (ESCC) mainly occurred in the middle thoracic segment (65.2%), while the rare type (EAC) mainly occurred in the lower thoracic segment (56.8%). Among the sparse type, malignant melanoma and malignant fibrous histiocytoma were both predominantly located in the lower thoracic segment (51.7%, 66.7%), and the others were mainly in the middle thoracic segment.Conclusion:ESCC is the most common type among the 32 histopathological types of PEMT, followed by EAC as the rare type, and esophageal small cell carcinoma and malignant melanoma as the major sparse type, and all of which are mainly occur in male patients. The common type of ESCC mainly occur in the middle thoracic segment, while the rare type of EAC mainly in the lower thoracic segment. The mainly sparse type of malignant melanoma and malignant fibrous histiocytoma predominately occur in the lower thoracic segment, and the remaining sparse types mainly occur in the middle thoracic segment.

After hemoperfusion combined with continuous hemodialysis and hormone pulse therapy, 1 patient was successfully treated and 2 patients were not cured. Bee Stings can cause systemic allergic reactions and toxic reactions. In severe cases, acute anaphylaxis, rhabdomyolysis, intravascular hemolysis, abnormal coagulation, and acute liver and kidney injury may occur, myocardial damage and other multi-organ function damage or even failure, is a clinical acute and critical illness, mortality is higher. Through the analysis of the diagnosis and treatment process of these 3 cases, the experience is summarized: the Bee sting should be treated as soon as possible, the early prevention and treatment of multiple organ dysfunction, the choice of accurate blood purification and comprehensive treatment, can effectively improve the prognosis, increase the success rate of treatment.

AIM:To detect the endogenous expression of B-cell leukemia/lymphoma 6 member B (BCL6B) in FHC and LoVo cells, and to investigate the effects of BCL6B on proliferation and migration of LoVo cells for further explo-ring the underlying mechanism .METHODS:The endogenous expression of BCL 6B in the FHC and LoVo cells was detec-ted by RT-PCR and Western blot .The methods of MTT assay , colony formation assay , wound healing assay and Transwell chamber experiment were employed to examine the biological functions of BCL 6B in the LoVo cells.The mRNA and protein levels of BCL6B, cyclin D1 and matrix metalloproteinase-9 ( MMP-9) were determined by RT-PCR and Western blot , re-spectively.The level of phosphorylated protein kinase B (p-AKT) was detected by Western blot.RESULTS:BCL6B ex-pression was notably repressed in the LoVo cells as compared with the FHC cells , which were significantly increased by transfection with pcDNA3.1-BCL6B.The abilities of proliferation and migration of the LoVo cells at 72 h were inhibited by 28.33%(P<0.01) and 36.11%(P<0.05) in BCL6B group.The mRNA levels of cyclin D1 and MMP-9 in the cells of BCL6B group were decreased by 39.90%(P<0.01) and 77.36% (P <0.05), and the protein levels of cyclin D1, MMP-9 and p-AKT were reduced by 44.00%(P<0.05), 47.06%(P<0.01) and 32.88% (P<0.05), respectively. CONCLUSION:BCL6B inhibits proliferation and migration of the LoVo cells , and the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway is in-volved in this process .

Objective To predict the target genes and function of has-miR-26b,has-miR-1972,has-miR4485,has-miR-4498,and has-miR-4743 by bioinformatics analysis,and provide the theoretical basis for the further research.Methods The targets of the five microRNAs were predicted by Target Scan,miRBD,and DIANA-microT-CDS,and the result were analyzed by gene ontology and pathway analysis using FunNet.Results 734 predicted targets were obtained by finding the intersected genes of Target Scan,miRBD,and DIANA-microT-CDS.GO analysis showed that biological processes regulated by the differentially expressed microRNAs included diverse terms,among which some terms (e.g.,central nervous system development,neuron differentiation,axonogenesis,synaptic transmission,learning,and memory,etc.) had direct relationship with the central nervous system and brain functions.The pathway analysis showed that a significant enrichment in several pathways related to neuronal brain function,such as axon guidance,glutamatergic synapse,Wnt signaling pathway,mTOR signaling pathway,VEGF signaling pathway,etc.Among the five microRNAs,has-miR-26b,has-miR-1972,has-miR-4498 might have more important regulatory functions.Conclusion Bioinformatic analysis indicates that has-miR-26b,has-miR-1972,has-miR-4485,has-miR-4498,and has-miR-4743 are closely related to the mechanism and pathogenesis of major depressive disorder.

Objective To discuss the effect of rehabilitation nursing for total knee arthroplasty by discussing hospitalization expenses and its factors of rehabilitation nursing.Methods 305 patients who were underwent total knee arthroplasty from 2011 to 2013 were recruited and recovered according to rehabilitation nursing and training requirements established by our hospital.Patients admitted in 2011 were designated as control group.The comparison of American knee society knee score and knee rang of motion of patients were made and analyzed.Results The annual comparison of sores of pre-and post-operative KSS (t=5.30,7.99,11.20),and knee ROM of patients (t=8.21,4.57,7.86) showed that the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).The total costs and rehabilitation nursing expenses inreased year by year (P＜0.05).The proportion of rehabilitation and rehabilitation nursing expenses each year were 5.77％ (3 157/54 679),4.60％ (2 847/61 831),5.15％ (3 341/64 930) and 0.51％ (280/54 679),0.64％ (393/61 831),0.52 ％(338/64 930),respectively.Conclusions Pre-and post-operative correct rehabilitation exercises are one of the most important guarantee of curative effect.There is a lower percentage of rehabilitation nursing expenses in total costs,and the value of the nursing staff has not been fully reflected.

Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of microRNA (miRNA) in peripheral venous blood for depressive disorder.Methods Real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) was used to verify expression level of miRNAs in peripheral blood of non-specific mental retardation children,which were aberrantly expressed in depressive disorder patients,and then Receiver Operating Characteristics (ROC)curve was employed to confirm the sensitivity and specificity of abnormal miRNA expression in depressive disorder and non-specific mental retardation.Results MiR-1972,miR-26b,miR-4485,miR-4498 and miR-4743 were upregulated significantly in case group of depressive disorder(P＜0.05),meanwhile miR-4485 and miR-4743 in aforementioned 5 miRNAs also upregulated significandy in patients of non-specific mental retardation(P＜0.05),but miR-26b showed no significant difference between case group of non-specific mental retardation and the control group (P＞0.05).The ROC curve of miR-26b in depressive disorder patients and their control group showed that the sensitivity and specificity were 0.609,0.664 respectively,and the area square under the curve was 0.614(P=0.021).The ROC curve of miR-26b in patients of depressive disorder and non-specific mental retardation indicated that the sensitivity and specificity were 0.784 and 0.471,and area square under the curve was 0.643 (P=0.003).Conclusion miR-26b probably have diagnostic value for depressive disorder,which may comorbidity with non-specific mental retardation.But genetic and psychosocial mechanism of comorbidity still needs further exploration.

Objective To explore the effect of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS) treatment on the brain derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF) serum levels in depressive patients.Methods Sixty-eight unipolar depressions treated with venlafaxine were randomly assigned to the real rTMS group(n =34)and the sham rTMS group(n =34),which were accepted the real or the shame rTMS treatment on the left dorsolateral prefrontal lobes respectively.The Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression (HAMD) and BDNF serum was assayed before and after 4 weeks' treatment.Results 1) A significant increase of serum BDNF((12.2 ± 1.3) μg/L vs (5.6 ± 0.8) μg/L,t=-9.167,P=0.000;(11.4 ± 1.5)μg/L vs (6.0± 1.0)μg/L,t=-7.421,P=0.000)and a significant decline of HAMD((11.6 ± 1.7) score vs (32.6 ± 2.5) score,t =14.654,P =0.000 ; (4.2 ± 2.8) score vs (31.8 ± 3.2)score,t=12.089,P =0.000) were found after the treatment in the real and the shame group,and the real group changed more significantly than the shame group ((6.7 ± 0.8) μg/L vs (5.1 ± l.2) μg/L,t =2.690,P =0.009 ; (21.0 ± 2.1) score vs (17.6 ± 2.6) score,t =2.693,P =0.000).2) A negative correlation was found between the serum BDNF levels and the HAM D scores before the treatment(r =-0.530,P=0.003; r =-0.490,P =0.004),and a positive correlation between changes of BDNF levels and HAMD scores changes(r =0.439,P =0.006 ; r =0.454,P =0.005).Conclusion The rTMS treatment can increase serum BDNF levels in depressive patients.

A total of 127 type 2 diabetic patients were divided into low glycemic index meal replacements (intervention) group and standard food-based diet (reference) group in an experiment for 12 weeks.The results showed that fasting plasma glucose,postprandial 2 h plasma glucose,fasting insulin,and homeostasis model assessment insulin resistance(HOMA-IR) in the intervention group decreased significantly after 12 weeks trial ( P＜0.05 or P＜0.01 ).However,there were no significant changes in lipid profile and HbA1C in intervention group.In addition,percentage of body fatty,visceral fatty area,and waist-hip ratio also decreased in intervention group( all P＜0.01 ).Superoxide dismutase and glutathione levels increased significantly in intervention group by the end of trial (both P＜0.01 ),while malondialdehyde was decreased (P＜0.01 ).There were no significant changes in the aforementioned indices in the reference group.Weight,body mass index,and waist circumferences were decreased in both groups,but without significant difference between the two groups.
