Chinese Journal of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology is a professional academic journal in the field of obstetrics and gynecology sponsored by Peking University and governed by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, reporting advanced scientific research achievements and experience of clinical diagnosis and treatment in obstetrics and gynecology. The main readers of the journal are scholars, clinicians, nurses and other professionals in gynecology and obstetrics. The journal promotes combining theory with practice and basics with advancement, focusing on clinical application, striving to spread new technology, method and achievement of diagnosis and treatment for obstetric and gynecological diseases. The journal also aims at introducing the latest progress, promoting academic exchanges, improving theoretical and clinical capability of clinicians and facilitating the development of diagnosis, treatment, prevention and healthcare of women's diseases in China. Chinese Journal of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology is a Statistical Source Journal of Chinese Scientific Papers and Key Magazine of China Technology. Professor Wei Lihui is the editor-in-chief. Professor Feng Youji, Cui Heng, Xiang Yang, Liao Qinping and Wang Jianliu are deputy editors-in-chief. The editorial board is composed of more than 100 well-known obstetric and gynecological experts. Chinese Journal of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology was founded in May 2000, bimonthly issued. ISSN: 1672-1861; CN 11-4967/R。 History of the journal 　　 1. Launched in May 2000 as an internal material. 2. In January 2003, officially published and issued with ISSN and CN. 3. In October 2004, a postal issuing code was assigned to the journal. Readers from home and abroad could make subscription via China Post since 2005. 4. In April 2006, the journal was included by Key Magazine of China Technology and a certificate was issued by Institute of Scientific and Technological Information of China. The journal is always included by the database since then. 5. In January 2009, journal logo was released. Colored and copperplate printing was adopted. 6. In April 2010, official website of the journal was launched. Submission, reviewing and editing could be completed online. 7. From 2014 to 2019, the journal was included in the "Chinese Core Journals Catalogue of Peking University Library".
