Information commons constructed in Library of Guangdong Pharmaceutical College

A scheme for constructing the information commons with characteristics of medical and pharmaceutical colleges and universities was put forward in term of its construction model, function layout and implementation steps in combination with the practical conditions in Library of Guangdong Pharmaceutical College according to the ques-tionnaire investigation and analysis of the suggestions proposed by the readers for the construction of information commons.

The distribution of years, active regions, high production authors and core journals in papers on saffron crocus was analyzed using HistCite.The main methods in research of saffron crocus were described according to its chronological chart generated by the Pajek-generated matrix with its development history revealed.

Data management service abroad provided by subject librarians in biomedical field for scientific researchers, and the model, contents and efficiency of subject librarians-provided biomedical research data management service in NIH were analyzed according to the need for scientific research data management service in biomedical researchers . The enlightenments of biomedical research data management service abroad on the subject service in our library were elaborated .

Cognition and need of medical information in clinicians of Sichuan Province

The questionnaire investigation showed that the clinicians in Sichuan Province have a rather good cognition of medical information with a strong desire for medical information.However, measures should be taken to alleviate the contradictions between their information need and access ability, and excellent medical information service should be provided for them at a low cost .

Foreign linked data:A bibliometric analysis

Papers on linked data published in foreign countries from 2005 to 2013 were analyzed, showing that the research of linked data in foreign countries is in its introduction period on the subject growth curve, the number of related literatures tends to increase, with a number of classical literatures and core researcher groups formed.At present, the research is focused on the theory, implementation and application of linked data.

The concept and characteristics of omnimedia were outlined, the effects of omnimedia on traditional in-formation service model, storage types of information resources, and personal service in medical library were analyzed, and a number of new information service models in the omnimedia era were put forward.
