Development and application of modified military water tank

Objective To improve the existing military water tank to prevent water pollution.Methods The modified water tank was composed of a lip,body,a floating ring filled with foam materials,a zipper,multi faucets,drain valve,rack and etc.The zipper on the top of the tank could close down the tank,the faucets at the lower part realized water supply,and the drain valve at the bottom discharged residual water.Results The dust,small animals and etc were prevented from going into the tank with the consumed water decreased,and the tank was easy to clean.Conclusion The tank contributes to military water supply at field conditions,and is worthy promoting practically.

Development of field psychological emergency rescue chest

Objective To develop a field psychological emergency rescue chest to improve mental health service during disaster relief.Methods The instruments and medicine involved in for mental health were determined based on service orientation,function design and expert survey,and the psychological emergency rescue chest was developed based on optimization of the external and internal structures of field Ⅳ-type chest.Results The chest developed was composed of office instruments,psychological devices,logistics instruments and first-aid medicine for mental health.conclusion The chest gains advantages in design,structure,size,transport,utilization,equipped devices and function integration,and thus is worthy promoting for field mental health service during disaster relief.

Development and application of portable integral dental unit in ship

Objective To develop a portable integral dental unit in the ship to fulfill medical service during canvoy operation.Methods The unit developed was modified based on WD6232-E dental unit,and comprised of a chair and accessories.An earth box and a seat box were under the chair,and a base was at one side of it.The accessories included a level bar,emesis basin,cold light and etc.The digital unit was modified,which involved in a miniature digital dental X-ray machine and a micro computer.Results The dental unit developed could fulfill dental auxiliary diagnosis and treatment similar to them in garrison hospital.Conclusion The unit gains advantages in portability and easy operation and adapts itself to dental service during expedition,and thus is worthy promoting practically.

Simulation of sparse views CT image iterative reconstruction based on defective projection data

Objective To reconstruct sparse views CT image based on defective projection data.Methods The position of bad bins in detector determined whether the linear interpolation was applied to the defective projection data.Moreover,reconstruction of air pixels in CT image was achieved rapidly and accurately.Results he experimental results showed that the proposed method could solve the problem from classical ART-TV method that the robustness was unstable due to the different positions of bad bin in CT detector.Conclusion Compared to analytical reconstruction methods,iterative methods can solve the reconstruction problems in this modality so that the radiologist is facilitated to perform image processing and quantitative analysis.

Development and application of new-type animal dental stent

Objective To develop a new-type animal dental stent for the experiment of canine pulp regeneration.Methods The stent was composed of an upper support frame,an oral limit bracket and a lower support frame,which were aligned from top to bottom.A sleeve joint was made for the connection structure of the bracket,and the height and the width both could be adjusted to adapt to different animals' mouths.The rubber dam could be spread into tension and concave form by rotating the upper and lower support frames' ends.Results By resizing the animal dental stent based on the structure of animal facies maxillaris,medical staffs could proceed the examination and treatment to animals effectively,including the throat examination,oral examination,oral care,dental treatment (such as root canal therapy and dental filling) and other medical behaviors.Conclusion The experimental result shows the feasibility of utilizing the stent in the process of animal experiment or diagnosis and treatment.Moreover,the stent proves the capacity in protecting the soft tissue,widening the vision of operation field,getting rid of the saliva contamination,which is worthy popularizing in animal experiments and animal medical care.

Medical equipment management based on risk management mode

Objective To explore medical equipment management to decrease medical risks.Methods A medical equipment risk management model was established to deploy medical equipment rationally,evaluate the risk value of medical equipment,calculate the total risk value of medical equipment of the department and to propose the requirements for medical equipment utilization and management.Results The risks of medical equipment could be decreased by improved medical equipment management in deployment,utilization and maintenance as well as emphases on personnel and regulation.Conclusion Risk minimization is of great significance for medical equipment users and management department.

Method of equipment parameter demonstration and its role in equipment procurement

Objective To propose a method for equipment parameter demonstration to improve whole-life cycle management of equipment.Methods The measures and principles of equipment parameter demonstration were put forward based on its present situation and problems.The significance of equipment parameter demonstration for whole-life management was discussed from the aspects of biding,bidding evaluation and post-procurement management.Results The method enhanced equipment procurement,saved human resource,materials and economic cost,and solved the problems such as single source,unutilized equipment and high maintenance cost.Conclusion The method of equipment parameter demonstration maximizes the benefits,and promotes whole-life management of medical equipment.

Effect analysis on fiberbronchoscope management under life cycle management mode

Objective To ensure the quality of disinfection and sterilization of the fiberbronchoscope in the sterilesupply center through the implementation of whole life cycle management.Methods Using the historical comparative method,the fiberbronchoscopes managed by the departments were enrolled into a control group from February 2013 to March 2014,and the ones undergoing life-cycle management in the sterile supply center were involved in an observation group from April 2014 to May 2015.The two groups were divided according to the management subject and mode,and compared from the aspects of treatment flow,process quality control and record tracing validity.All the data were input with Excel sheet,andanalyzed statistically with SPSS 17.0.Results The observation group and the control group had the numbers of positive results in internal cavities,positive results in external surface,damaged or irrationally-placed package,invalid data tracing and non-standardized storage being(0,1.11±0.15),(0,1.09±0.20),(1.07±0.13,2.75±0.22),(0.57±0.03,1.53±0.31) and (0.13±0.07,0.95±0.21) respectively,and the differences between the two groups were significant (P<0.05).The turnover of the fiberbronchoscope was enhanced significantly in the observation group when compared with that in the control group.Conclusion Life cycle management contributes to strengthening quality control of the treatment of polluted fiberbronchoscope,and decreases the incidences for hospital infection.
