Structure Analysis and Detection of Ventilator

The structure characteristics and the principle of a ventilator are expatiated from 4 aspects including power system, control system, ventilation source, output gas line and components of gas line. The commonality of ventilators in structure is summarized. It is pointed out that with different power systems and control methods, diverse ventilation modes can be assembled based on the commonality of ventilators in structure. In the meantime, according to the structure of ventilator, the common malfunctions are analyzed and the troubleshooting is discussed. It shows that the structure and principle of a ventilator is the basis to solve all problems.

Calibration and Test of Exposal Dose's Index for CR System

Over exposal dose often occurs in CR system because of reduction of performance, contamination, dilapidation and aging of IP board, etc. The exposal dose tester is used to test and calibrate CR system. In this way, the problem of incorrect exposal dose of CR system is solved and image in high definition is obtained under proper exposal dose.

POLYVINYLCHLORIDE FILM AND ITS APPELICATION IN THE CLINICAL CHEMISTRY ANALYSIS

Polyvinylchloride film was prepared.Its pore structure and properties were investigated.The blood ammonia concentration in normals and in patients were also determined. The results showed that the polyvinylchloride film is comparable to polyporpylene film made in Japan.

In order to make the best of the medical equipment and avoid repetitive purchase,our hospital establishes a medical equipment communion-center,the section offices of which are responsible for keeping the occasionally-used but indispensable equipment.The equipment managed by the Medical Affairs Office and the Medical Engineering Office could be lent to any section offices in the hospital,thus not only facilitating medical treatment but reducing expenses.

Field portable transfusion device

A field transfusion device without support is designed.It is in shape of cuboid,and the idler wheels of mean axis disc are driven by motor to push transfusion liquid into human body.A disc with 6 idler wheels on the edge is set in the motor axis.When motor starts,idler wheels take turns to extrude liquid from transfusion pipe to human body with transfusion speed decided by motor rotate speed.Besides,an adjustable transfusion controller,sensor for liquid pressure and transfusion alarm system are equipped.When the set transfusion volume is finished,it gives alarm.

Chest X-Ray Projection Methods in Newborns

Objective To improve chest X-ray images quality in newborns. Methods To improve the routine projecting position and adjust X-ray projection dose. Results Two sides of lung fields were well-displayed,and lung veins were clear. Meanwhile the contrasts between ribs and lung fields were good and cardiac size was not changed obviously. Conclusion Comparared with routine projection methods, the image quality has greatly improved on the aspectes above.

Quality Control of Molybdenum Target Radiography in Mammary Examination

Objective 500 cases undergoing molybdenum target radiography were analysed retrospectively to improve the image quality. Methods influencing factors of 500 cases molybdenum target CR and clinical pathological data in recent 3 months were analysed. All of the patients take CC,MLO phtotography. The machine applied is Siemens 3000, AGFA galactophore special IP boards, and image postprocessor is AGFA ADC Compact. Results In 500 cases, 89 cases without obvious lesions, 389 case with benign lesion, 113 cases are breast cancer. Conclusion To take a satisfying molybdenum target radiograph, patients' features of breasts such as size and shape resulting in different radiation setting, which is the key to get satisfying images, should be understood.

Discussion on direct digital dual energy subtraction radiography and clinical application value

Objective To introduce direct digital dual energy subtraction radiography and explore it's clinical application.Methods The cases acquired separately by direct digital conventional radiography and direct digital dual energy subtraction radiography were compared.Results The detection rate,sensitivity and accuracy of calcifications in lungs,pulmonary nodules,stones in urinary system,calcifications of coronary artery and cardiovalvular were improved by using direct digital dual energy subtraction radiography.Conclusion Direct digital dual energy subtraction radiography is more valuable in clinical applications.

POCKET—SIZE HEART SOUND AND PULSE ELECTRONIC MONITOR

The pocket heart sound and pulse electric monitor is made according to electric enlarge principle.It can consecutivty monitor the rhythm cf heart sound and pulse at over thirty parts of all the body without any damage.It can replace the process of listening heart sound with setetheoscope and touching pulse with a hand.Through it,the supervise know that how the each operation step affects the patients circulation system.For four years it had been used to monitor 612 anesthetic operation patients at all ages and discoved 12 heart rhythm abnormal.The monitor has good frequentcy response and low cost.Stable and convenient,it can fit to the general moni- toting in the basic unit uring the peacetime and war time.

COMPUTER—BASED DYSTEM FOR REAL TIME ANALYSIS OF HEMODYNAMIC SIGNALS IN EXPERIMENTAL ANIMALS

A computer-based system for real time analysis of hemodynamic signals in experimen- tal animals was developed by using an IBM-PC/XT microcomputer and a polygraph.The sys- tem software was written in compiler with BASIC and 8088 assembly language.The system per- forms six functions:(1)Acquisition of hemodynamic signals;(2)Extraction of signal feature point;(3)Storage of experimental data on the floppy disk;(4)Calculation of 10 hemodynamic parameters;(5)Printout of the data both in tables and in figures;(6)Statistical analysis of exper- imental data. Pharmacological studies have been carriedout by using the system to evaluate the activities of well-know drug as well as some Chinese medicines on cardie-vascular system.The reliability and practicability of the system were confirmed by the experimental data.
