Analysis of diagnosis and treatment about tuberculosis of thyroid

Objective:To expore early diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis of thyroid.Methods:One patient with tuberculosis of thyroid who was misdiagnosed for 7 months was reported,a retrospective analysis of 87 patients with tuberculosis of thyroid gland diagnosed by needle biopsy and postoperative pathologic examination.Results:15 cases were diagnosed by needle blopsy,others by postoperative pathologic examination,most of them were misdiagnosed as thyroid carcinoma,thyroid adenoma,the fewer were misdiagnosed as endemic goiter,nodular goiter,hyperthyroidism.Conclusion:Thyroid node accompanied by fever and pulmonary tuberculosis must be considered of tuberculosis of thyroid,needle biopsy is a convenient and effective method for diagnosis.

Clinical research of the effects of carbon dioxide pneumoperitoneum on cardiovascular function in geriatric cholelithiasis

Objective: To explore the effect of CO 2 pneumoperitoneum in laparoscopic surgery on the cardiovascular function of the geriatric cholelithiasis.Methods:Sixty aged patients undergone laparoscopic surgery were selected.During various stage of CO 2 insufflation,the heart rate(HR),blood pressure,oxygen saturation ,electrocardiogram(ECG),and myocardial enzymes were dected,and the clinical values of these changes were analyzed.Results: when CO 2 pneumoperitoneum established ,the HR and blood pressure were increased obviously .The incidence of arrhythmia was 36% and the incidence of changes of ST segment was 30%,10 minutes after pneumoperitoneum eliminated,these changes were restored. The myocardial enzymes and the oxygon saturation of blood had no distinct changes. Conclusion: The procedure of CO 2 pneumoperitoneum caused temporany changes of the HR ,SBP/DSP and ECG.The laparoscopic surgery is effective and safe for geriatric cholelithiasis.It suggests that the dynamic monitoring of electrocardiogram is necessary,especially for those with abnormal heart function.

The changes of brain-gut peptides and immunologic function in the rats before and after relief of biliary obstruction

Objective:To investigate the changes and the adjusting effects of brain-gut peptides (BGP) on immunologic function in the rats before and after relief of biliary obstruction.Methods:One hundred Wistar rats were randomly divided into five groups,including sham common bile duct ligation group (group A),common bile duct ligation group (group B),sham relief of biliary obstruction + normal saline group (group C) ,relief of biliary obstruction + normal saline group (group D) and relief of biliary obstruction + Sandostatin (group E).At 1d,7d after the operation of each group,the changes of plasma vasoactive intestional peptide (VIP),substance P(SP),serum interleukin-2(IL-2) and serum T-lymphocytic subsets (CD4 +,CD8 +)were determinded by radioimmunoassay and flowcytometry .Results:Plasma VIP and SP were increased in group B compared with group A(P

The relationship of the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor and microvessel density with invasion and metastasis of colorectal carcinoma

Objective: To study the influence of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) expression on angiogenesis,the relationship of VEGF expression and microvessel density (MVD) with invasion and metastasis of colorectal carcinoma.Methods: Sixty-one samples of colorectal carcinoma tissues were examined for VEGF expression by SABC immunohistochemical method and for the CD34 endothelial antigen by SP immunohistochemical method to highlight the new growth microvessels,the MVD of tumor was calculated.Results: The positive expression rate of VEGF was 49.2% and the mean of MVD was 28.7?12.9 (range from 6 to 55) in colorectal carcinoma tissues.The positive expression rate of VEGF and MVD were significantly correlated with the depth of invasion,lymph node metastasis,liver metastasis and Dukes’s stage(P29) was significantly higher than that in group of lower MVD.MVD in group of VEGF positive expression was significantly higher than that in negative expression group (P

Expression of Fas and FasL in gastric cancer

Objective:Study on the expression of Fas and Fas ligand (FasL) in gastric cancer and its possible significance.Methods:Fifty-eight paraffin-embedded gastric cancer tissues and twenty-six non-cancer tissues were tested for the expression of Fas and FasL protein by immunohistochemistry.Results:The positive rate of Fas in cancer cells of gastric cancer tissues was significantly lower than that in gastric epithelial cells of the control tissues(19.0% and 61.5%,respectively;?~2=14.918;P=0.000).The positive rate of FasL showed no significant difference between cancer cells of gastric cancer tissues and gastric epithelial cells of the control tissues(63.8% and 53.8%,respectively).Conclusion:The Fas-FasL system is unbalanced.It may be related to the carcinogenesis of gastric epithelial cells and might be responsible for the immune excape of these cells.

Effect of disconnection and portacaval shunt on the expression of caspase-3 in rats with protal hypertensive gastropathy

Expression and significance of cyclinB1 and CDK1 in gastric cancer

Objective:To investigate the clinicopathological significance of the CyclinB1 and CDK1 expression in stomach carcinogenesis.Methods:The expression of CyclinB1 and CDK1 was examined by immunohistochemistry method in normal epithelium(15 cases),low-differentiated adenocarcinoma (15 cases)and moderate-well-differentiated adenocarcinoma (20 cases).Results:Immunoreaction to Cyclin B1 and CDK1 was mainly localized in the cytoplasm of cells.In stomach carcinogenesis,the positive immunostaining rate of CyclinB1 protein in normal epithelium and adenocarcinoma was 13.3%(2/15),94.3%(33/35) respectively (P

The anatomic foundation of modified rehbein's procedure for treating congenital megacolon

Objective:To investigate the anatomic foundation of modified rehbein's operation and define a standard procedure.Methods:We retrospectively analyzed 49 cases of Rehbein's operation and summerized our experience.Results:We dissected the posterior wall of rectum from the retroperitoneum beside the Douglas's pouch downward to the anus levator muscle,laterally to the middle part of retal lateral ligment.Then incised the posterior wall to the level 0.5～0.8cm above the dental line.Finally we anastomosed the proximal and distal part of rectum delicately.98.0% of these cases have normal defectation function during follow up.Conclusion:With standard procedure,this operation can be performed smoothly,and patients survive conveniently with undisturbed defectation reflex.

The influences of devascularization versus shunt operation on portal hypertensive gastropathy
