Social Network Analysis of the Co-authoring Network in Domestic International Classification of Diseases Field

Objective The purpose of this article is to analyze the domestic situation of co-authorship in the field of international classification of diseases using Social Network Analysis.Methods Using UCINET to do this research from the following five perspectives,namely density,degree centrality,betweenness centrality,closeness and subgroup analysis.Results The density of co-authoring network is 0.0021.The number of nodes which made up the main component accounts for 3.46％ of the total nodes.Lin Jie-zhong possesses the highest value of degree centrality,and Guo Yun-qing's value of betweenness centrality and closeness is the highest.Forty-four 2-plexes are found in all authors.Conclusions Currently,the co-authorship is not close,but to a certain extent,the authors liked Lin Jie-zhong,Liang Yao,Li Jian-wei,Fan Wei,Guo Yun-qing,Liu Ai-min and so on constitute the core members or leaders.From the overall point of view,the authors in this field have not yet formed a subgroup phenomenon obviously.The structure of this co-authoring network is loose and isolated.

Strengthen the management of clinical research and promote the good development of clinical research

In China,with the development of medicine,more and more clinical researches are increased.However,along with this development,there are still a lot of problems.In order to normalize the management of clinical researches,make the research results reliable and benefit for patients,several strict aspects of management are taken by our hospital,included standardizing the application procedures,introducing the roles of the academic committee and the ethics committee,strengthening the projects management and researchers training,etc.And all these ways promote the good development of clinical researches of our hospital.

To study and structure a preliminary indicators system for evaluating the projects of Hospital in finished phase

Objective To structure a preliminary indicators system for evaluating the projects of Hospital in finished phase.Methods With Delphi method,collect the experts' opinion of the importance of every item.With AHP (Analytic hierarchy process) method,calculate the weight coefficient of every item.Results The positivity of the experts was fine; The authority coefficient of two rounds were 0.859 and 0.833,the consultation results are reliable; The coordination coefficient of two rounds were 0.254 and 0.553,according to the significance test,p values were less than 0.05,indicating that the results were desirable.According to the score of every item,we got the weight index of every items based on the AHP method.Finally we structure the indicators system including 3 primary indicators and 10 secondary indicators.Conclusion The preliminary results of this study provide a reference for the performance evaluation of projects in finished phase of China-Japan Friendship Hospital.

Evaluation on research efficiency of medical universities based on SE-DEA model

Objective To evaluate the research input-output efficiency of 15 medical universities,and provide references for improving synthetic research efficiency.Methods Selected research input-output key indicators,and used CCR model and SE-DEA model to statistic and analyze.Results The average value of comprehensive efficiency of 15 medical universities was 0.811,pure technical efficiency value was 0.978,scale efficiency value was 0.827.There were 5 DEA efficient universities,7 pure technical efficient universities among 10 Non-DEA efficient universities.Conclusion The total research efficiency of medical universities in our country remained to improve,and should emphasize adjusting scientific research scale.

Comprehensive quality assessment analysis of young physicians recruited from 2007 to 2011 in Peking University cancer hospital

In order to summarize the experience in physician recruitment and training process,an investigation was carried out on young physicians recruited from campus from 2007 to 2011.The results showed that the assessments of departments of the young physician's on theirs' medical ethics,professional values,theoretical knowledge,clinical competence and other aspects were higher.This indicated that these young physicians have higher overall quality.In addition,compared with the above-described abilities,the results also showed that the assessments on theirs' foreign language oral communication skills,research capacity,innovation capability,and so on,were lower.Therefore the hospital should continue to increase assessments to the candidates during the campus recruitment stage,and to develop targeted training plans so as to strengthen the ability of young physicians continually.

Qualitative Study on Training Demand among Clinical Medical Postgraduate Students

Objective To explore the training demand among clinical medical postgraduate students.Methods Focus Group Discussions and a research interview,two of the qualitative study methods were applied among medical students of a hospital.Results Different clinical medical postgraduate students need different levels training.The demand status related to the students' training styles.Students had desire to receive kinds of help of hospital administrative authority.Conclusion Training guide is importance during the growth of clinical medical postgraduate students.Hospital administrative authority should afford manifold ways to satisfy the demand of students for their training.

Development in Medical Technology and Its Effects on Education for Eight-Year Program

Rapid development in medical technology has posed new challenges to higher medical education,especially to education of eight-year program students.How to survive the challenges has thus become a question for medical institutions.By analyzing the features of medical development and the new demand of medical education,we proposed the following innovations for education in eight-year program.It should emphasize combination of different disciplines and construction of integrated medical course system.Research on translational medicine should be conducted,and cooperation between institutions should be promoted.

The Thinking of Promoting the Level of Pharmaceutical Universities New Drug Research and Development in Translational Medicine Platform

As the main force of new drug research and development (R&D) in China,pharmaceutical universities are in charge of developing new drugs with our own intellectual property rights.The concept of translational medicine provides opportunity and challenge to improve the efficiency of new drug R&D.Several translational medicine centers have been set up in pharmaceutical universities,which provide practical conditions for new drug R&D in domestic.Administration management approaches to promote new drug R&D in translational medicine platform are analyzed in the paper.

The investigation of informed consent in the plastic surgery

Object To emphasize the necessity and significance of informed consent in the plastic surgery.Further investigating the ethical implication involved in informed consent principles.To standardize the medical treatment action according to the informed consent principles.Methods Through the literature search method,counseling for experts,sampling surveys and other approaches to elucidate the importancy of informed consent in plastic surgery,to survey and analyze the difficulties and ethical dilemma encountered in the process of standardization.Results Plastic surgeons firmly are aware of the principles of informed consent,as a routine preoperative procedure,however there are still some difficulties in practice.Conclusions To respect the patient's right to know,plastic surgery doctors should be standardized to perform the principle of informed consent; meanwhile hospital should develop a series of systems to regulate the principle of informed consent.

Study on evaluation index system for medical service scientific research competitiveness

Objective To establish a scientific evaluation index system for medical service scientific research competitiveness for government assessment.Methods The evaluation indexes and their weights were determined after two rounds Delphi consultation.Results Construct a hierachical index system composed of three groups,namely investment,output and effects,including three first class index,13 second ones and 50 third ones after two rounds Delphi consultation.Conclusions The index system has reasonable structure and comprehensive contents,reflecting the core idea of scientific research competitiveness evaluation.
