An Investigation on the AIDS Knowledge of College Students

Objective: To understand AIDS knowledge of the college students,to provide scientific evidence for making out the strategy of health education and synthetic prevention measure purposely.Methods An anonymous questionnaire was conducted with face to face interview to investigate the college students in Xi'an, and the software Epi info 5.0 was used to perform the statistical analysis of the data. Results 70.5% of university students knew the whole name of AIDS. As to three ways of HIV transmission, the investigation shows that 49.1% of college students knew three main ways. The 26.5% of college students mistakenly think that mosquito could transmit HIV. In general, the old, the married the literate, and medical students get more knowledge about AIDS than the young,the unmarried,the illiterate, and other major students. Conclusion The college students who are one of the most dangerous groups infected AIDS have poor knowledge. The situation of poor AIDS knowledge is extremely unfit to the prevalent tendency of AIDS, which our country is being faced. We suggest that the college students should be educated intensively on the health knowledge of AIDS especiallis beingy for freshmen.

Our medical personnl engaged in blood bank must be paid attention to every detailed problem in blood taking for the gratuitous donators of blood.Because they get up a panic when most of them are in their first blood taking.They lack experience to cooperate in blood taking.We must work patiently and selflessly in order to ensure safety and successfully for everybody in blood taking.

Social Responsibility of Media on Medical Advertisement

Advertisement, which has strong association with the interest of media and the development of enterprise, can benefit both. The rampancy of illegal medical advertisement infringed on the interest of consumer, violated the social economic order, and even affected the image and the public trust of media. Hence, as the watchdog of medical advertisement, media should deal with the relation of the economic profit and social responsibility properly, and play a role as the transmitter of civilization.

Study on Students'Capacity in Dealing with Skill and Moral in Nationality Medical College

There are three misunderstanding of medical students on health undertaking. Some take health undertaking as pure public institution, some believe that it's an economical entity, and others holds that there are contradiction between humanism and economic income. Such misunderstanding could lead to the lack of medical students'professional consciousness. Hence, we should guide them to deal with the relationship of professional skill and professional morals properly.

Research on Relief System of Abnormal Reaction in Preventive Vaccination

Abnormal reaction in preventive vaccination is the serious adverse reaction happened in regular vaccination. Department of government and producer of vaccines are liable legislatively. In my opinion, relief fund for abnormal reaction should be established to cover the damage of victims and to decrease the risk of government and enterprises.

Enhance the Cultivation of Nursing Students'Good Appearance

This article discusses a nurses professional character, which is an organic combo of kind soul and good appearance, and the good appearance is not only necessary to patients'mentality, but also the requirement from employer. From investigation and analysis, it is found that some nursing students are short of good appearance. In the author's opinion, besides professional morality, specialty theory and operational capability, the medical school should pay attention to the cultivation of students' good appearance in nursing ethnics teaching. Furthermore, by giving the electives courses, such as Nursing Aesthetics, Etipuette, and Art Enjoying, the nursing students can be encouraged to take part in different leagues and campus culture activities. It will enhance the education of nursing students'amenity, and the cultivation of their good appearance.
