The ancient methods of pulse-reading represented by Bian Que and Nei Jing are the initiation and formation stages of pulse examination in TCM.Allround,rich and colorful methods of meridian examination are foundation and condition of pulse examination.The development of pulse examination is a distinct course,from complicated to simple,mixed to exclusive.The purpose of this article is,from the point of view in the origin of pulse examination,to explore the relationship between meridian and the formation of pulse examination.
