Objective To investigate the significance of using 2-dimonsional ultrasonography and color Doppler ultrasonography in the diagnosis of the complications of augmentation mammoplasty. Methods 21 cases were diagnosed by the 7.0～11.0 MHz high-frequency 2-dimonsional ultrasonography and color Dopplar ultrasonography, which were proved by the second operation. Results There were characteristic 2-dimonsional voice pictures in the implants folding, moving, oozing, and sclerosis of membrane, and the tissues around the implants had more or less color blood picture and Dopplar frequency expression. Conclusion Ultrasonography has great diagnostic value and clinical significance in the detection of complications after augmentation mammoplasty.
