Abstract:
Abnormal activation of complement system is one of glomerular dysfunction pathogenesis, including abnormal complement activity, anti-complement antibody and genetic mutation of complement related genes. At present, the examination of complement components and activities is an important assistant diagnostic index for glomerular diseases, which is helpful for the diagnosis, differential diagnosis and classification of glomerular diseases. This paper summarizes the abnormal activation of complement in glomerular diseases, the methods of complement testing and their significance in the diagnosis and treatment of glomerular diseases, so as to provide the basis for precision medicine of glomerular diseases.
