Abstract:
Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the three major malignant tumors with high morbidity and mortality in the world. Disorder of gut microbiota will induce a series of diseases including colorectal neoplasm. A number of studies have shown that the development, progress, diagnosis and treatment of CRC are closely related to gut microbiota. This article reviewed the role of gut microbiota in the development of CRC and application of probiotics in diagnosis and treatment of CRC.
