Abstract:
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of small endogenous non-coding RNAs which are closely related to the development and progress of colorectal cancer. Most studies show that expression of miR-7 is decreased in colorectal cancer tissues and cell lines, and negatively regulates the expressions of PAX6, YY1, etc., thereby participating in the development, proliferation, invasion and metastasis of colorectal cancer. MiR-7 is expected to become a new target for the diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of colorectal cancer. This article reviewed the research progress of miR-7 in colorectal cancer.
