Abstract:
A series of measures of colonoscopy quality including adenoma detection rate have been applied in clinical practice because of their correlation with incidence and mortality of interval colorectal cancer. Adenoma detection rate varies in different studies, and quality control is essential. Feedback is one of the most popular intervention techniques to modify adenoma detection, and having various study design. This article reviewed the advances in studies on impact of feedback on adenoma detection rate and other colonoscopy quality control indicators.
