Abstract:
Dual-layer spectral detector CT has carried out technical innovation from the aspect of detector for simultaneous, homologous, isotropic and synchronously energy separation scanning, and shown advantages of diminishing noise, optimizing images quality, improving lesion detection rate, inhibiting artifacts, quantitative and qualitative analysis of substances, reducing radiation dose and contrast agent dosage, etc. having a broader prospect in clinical applications. The progresses of dual-layer spectral detector CT and clinical applications were reviewed in this article.
