- Abstract: Breastfeeding not only meets the growth needs of infants,promotes the development and maturation of their physiological functions,but also is related to the health of adults. The abundant nutrients and many active substances in human milk are the basis of protection. This article clarifies the secretory characteristics of human milk components and their role in the growth and development of infants,in order to emphasize the importance of promoting breastfeeding for human health.
