Abstract:
Early gastric cancer has its unique behavioral char-acteristics, and there are controversies and consensus in manyaspects of treatment. In the past, the treatment of early gastriccancer was based on the traditional open standard gastrectomyand lymph node dissection. In recent years, with the improve-ment of detection rate of early gastric cancer and the advance-ment of surgical equipment in China. The surgical treatmentfor early gastric cancer has gradually changed to minimally in-vasive surgery represented by endoscopy and laparoscopic orrobot, and functional gastrectomy with preserving normal ana-tomical and physiological functions of the stomach to improvethe quality of life of patients after radical treatment. The treat-ment mode of early gastric cancer is multidisciplinary and ac-curate. Endoscopic treatment is the first choice for patientswith early gastric cancer, and its minimally invasive advantageis more obvious. For non-endoscopic patients, endoscopic andlaparoscopic co-oprative surgery is the future direction of de-velopment.
