Abstract:
Thyroid cancer is one of the most common endocrine tumors,and its incidence is increasing. For complex and difficult thyroid cancer,the diagnosis process involves ultrasound,CT,radionuclide examination,laryngoscopy,hematological examination(thyroid function,serum TG),pathological examination.Surgical treatment is the main treatment.The whole diagnosis and treatment process involves thyroid surgery, otolaryngological department, thoracic surgery, anesthesia, endocrinology, nuclear medicine,radiotherapy,oncology,ICU,ultrasound,pathology,imaging and so on.Through the multidisciplinary team(MDT)model,surgeons can give full play to the advantages of multidisciplinary to provide patients with the best diagnosis and treatment program,and achieve individualized and precise treatment.Ultimately,it helps to reduce surgical complications,improve prognosis and quality of life, improve the comprehensive curative effect of the disease,and ultimately benefit patients with thyroid cancer.
