Abstract:
Preeclampsia (PE) is a serious disease that threatens the health of maternal and newborn. However, the etiology and pathogenesis of PE remains elusive. Micro-RNA, a class of noncoding small single stranded RNA, plays an important role in the physiologic and pathophysiologic process of PE. In recent years, some researchers classified the placenta-derived miRNAs and investigated their roles in the occurrence of PE and their potential value in the PE early diagnosis. These findings are summarized in the review.
