Abstract: Point-of-care testing is also called near-patient testing that is performed near or at the site of a patient with the result leading to possible change in the care of the patient.With the rapid development of sensor technology and new biomarkers,a great of diagnostic tests are transformed into POCT products and serve for doctors.This article will introduce the advantages and disadvantages of POCT in clinical application,compare core issues of POCT with different countries abroad in quality management,analyze the role of informatization of POCT and explore new clues of standardized POCT management.
