Abstract:
On the basis of the reform process of modern medical education and the process of cognition of medical education research and with reference to past experience, this article discusses the function and role of medical education in talent cultivation in medical colleges and universities from the following six aspects, i.e., rectification of wrong educational concepts, selection of appropriate teaching methods , reform of rigid assessment methods , initiation of orderly educational management , scientific selection of students, and effective understanding of students. Therefore, medical education research is indispensible for teaching in medical colleges and universities and plays a guiding and fundamental role, and medical education research should be enhanced.
